Oh my Goodness... Now I know that I am getting older ;) Used to wear it light years ago. Actually, now I remember, I was a lover of Yardley for a moment. Mystique, Laughter... It was a time when I didn´t new so much about perfumes but I appreciated Yardley for controlled class and quality. Do I know more now? Hm... At least I know, that I need them mark my story every day.
Absolutely has nothing to do with LouLou or Poison, as it is not heavy at all. I would describe Baroque as bright, happy and juicy...the amber note is absolutely beautiful. Think along the lines of original Incanto by Ferragamo but with a lot more depth and complexity.
I feel like the name and the add are too grand for this fragrance, as it is very easy going and flirty. Very natural smelling with great sillage and longevity, and totally wearable in warmer weather.
Is it still around? My mother used to wear it circa 1994- haven't smelled or seen it since. Evokes good memories.
If you like high-powered florientals like Poison or loulou you'll probably like this too. Good value for money.
