I thought Yves Rocher didn´t use animal ingredients in their cosmetics..
I did not like the first Noel edition (this one). The scent was somehow unpleasant. Also I consider this more as a roomscent than a perfume.
I took the shower gel as a gift of Navidad and I was charmed with using it in these dates, really Christmas. It has a citric but very soft touch that is fused perfectly by the cedar and the comfortable and happy musk . Good to begin the day:)
From the name of this: "Flower of Christmas" and the sweet gourmand floral the year before; I chose not to buy this! :-( As it turns out it is the most masculine seasonal released by YR in years!
I asked about it when I ordered the Plaisir de Nature Miel d'Oranger and the two Fruits de Noel scents this year and was told (yet again) it was a limited edition and there were no more...The SA sent me a three pack of hand soaps from this line (all that was left) and they smell very clean and fresh...citrusy, woody and musky (white) with only a hint of light florals...
When will I learn it is better to HAVE it and not need it, than NEED it and not have it?! :-(
If anyone has an EDT of this, I would happily take it off your hands for its purchase price and shipping; if you want rid of it! THANKS...
EDIT: Right on, Fragranticans! Screw the rules...wear what YOU want!!!
well, i do think its more of a cold time scent, when i smell it, it takes me to a soft morning in the christmas streets not to a hard partying night out.it's adorable, and it works pretty well with my skin chemistry i actually think it's suitable to everyone x
oh me too, i think traditional "wearing rules" are bullshit, if i love a scent (i am quite sporty dressed) even if its complete classic scent, i wear it in winter, summer, day, night, WHATEVER! the most important is: how well do u feel in UR OWN skin, and often these are the times, where its a signature for me, that i always smell unexpecet and interesting (unisex sharp&dry on the evening for example, or vanilla in early autum, or pour femme from lacoste to jeans, sneakers & hoodie, or comme des garcons scents in summer evenings which are very "winter") i always get compliments and often people ask me what i am "wearing" and one thing: i always smell GREAT:)
do not live too much rules (this is for summer and this for winter), often a cool summer fragr. can cool ur head down in stressy wintertime, or fruits can juice cold temperatures up:) often the surprise is fascinating!
to cor metz:well said,i always think like that. When i love a scent,i will use it whenever i want!
wonderful soft and lovely smell, i can smell NO CITRUS AT ALL, and no FRUITY too, i smell cedar and musk, but for me that works great, but like all cheaper yves rocher parfums (the higher the price the better the staying power = yves rocher), after 3-4 hours it only smells like fresh washed clothes, and i sprayed over 20 times (!) on body AND clothes so that this is NOT going to happen! this staying power is really lame for 15 euro/per 50ml...###
Fleur de Noel is very gorgeous and a soft smelling scent. Not too sweet, not too floral and not too..... what ever.
It is chic and wearable day and night.
I bought the whole line and I think I am going to spend christmass in the bathroom under a nice warm shower.
All that talking about wearing a perfume by night or at the daytime is rubbish. As long as you like a smell it is worth wearing it day and night and even the first minute you open your eyes on a new day. A nice perfume makes me feel happy so the rules about wearing a perfume when or where ??
Come on, do yourself a favour and use perfume whenever you like.
