The new fragrance to complement pleasant and relaxed autumn days is Moment de Bonheur, which offers sophisticated floral freshness in strong and delicate way. This fragrance by Yves Rocher arrives on the market in September 2011.
The top notes of Moment de Bonheur incorporate a handful of luminous notes, greenery and spicy aromas. Spontaneity and freshness is depicted with green leaves and stems in the beginning of the composition, as an overture to rose notes blooming in the opulent heart of the composition. The heart accentuates rose buds which highlight femininity and softness of the perfume. The core of the fragrance is as smooth as satin, as pompous and elegant as silk. Base notes contribute to the depth with warm, earthy nuances of patchouli and woody cedar chords. The fragrance was created by Annick Menardo of Firmenich.
The roses in the heart of Moment de Bonheur are Rosa Centifolia from Grasse. They were picked in May and are valued as one of the most precious roses in the world. They are characteristic for very complex aromas.
The fragrance arrives in transparent glasses in very vivid colors—iridescent from green to pink, which reminds us of the changing green notes of the composition into silky and floral aromas. The perfume is light, sophisticated and skillfully balanced.
Moment de Bonheur can be obtained as 30 and 50 ml EDP, along with body milk 200 ml, shower gel 200 ml and deodorant 150 ml.

Yes indeed, roses. True to the description above this is sophisticated floral freshness in a strong and delicate way. Strong in the sense that the undiluted rose sings over all notes, but delicate as the scent is light and fades into a sunny bouquet. I don't get much in the way of cedar but the green compliments the flowers. If you don't care for flowers this isn't the pick for you, otherwise a very nice warm weather choice.
Try to find the vintage Milrose instead! That one does not fade out at all!
Beautiful rose fragrance! I love this one, it smells so good. It does fade out too quickly, but still so pretty. Definitely for rose lovers!
It was love at first smell, I got compliments at the office when I was wearing it. Too bad it fades out really fast.
I was very happy with this purchase a very modern and pleasant rose scent that is green and uplifting. The only downside is that it does fade a little too quick.
Moment de Bonheur - meaning in english 'Moment of Happiness'. This is a really nice sweet (but not too sweet) powdery-floral fragrance for the spring and summer months. Stays on me for about four hours so it's not too over powering. If you want a pretty floral fragrance for the warm months ahead this one is for you.
This is a sweet, green floral fragrance centred on rose. I don't pick up on the cedar or patchouli at all. Usually, I expect a greenish rose scent to be on the crisp, fresh side. But the sweetness kind of undermines the potential for a crisp, clean feel. I also find it a bit "perfumey" rather than natural-smelling. Once it reaches the drydown, it smells very much like floral-scented laundry detergent. This could be a good or bad thing, depending on your tastes. Moment de Bonheur is not a scent I despise, but I do find it a little bland.
My personal associations could be ruining this for me, because I find this type of vague sweet-green-rose scent reminds me of bathroom freshener or room spray. Too often I find that floral perfumes smell vaguely pleasant and sweet, but lack anything that stands out for me. Unfortunately Moment de Bonheur falls into that trap. Even based on the limited number of rose fragrances I have tested thus far, there are many others that do rose better in my opinion: Issey Miyake L'eau Florale for a crisp, citrusy rose; Very Irresistible Sensual for an elegant rose; Rose The One for a juicy, fresh rose; Midnight Poison for a dark, sexy rose; Pacifica Persian Rose for a natural, earthy rose; and YR Rose Absolute for a sweet, comforting rose. Moment de Bonheur just doesn't fill any missing "gaps" for me in the range of rose scents already on the market.
When I spray it, first i smell something very sweet caramel like thing, but it disappears as it touches my skin, and become very pleasant floraly sweety yet light scent. On me it stays on for a long time, i could feel it when i washed my hair at night, and i used it in the morning!
this is not Eau de Parfum, not even Eau de toillette =.=..
The smell is SOOO faint that, even i spray heavily on my wrist, press my nose to smell it,i can harly detect it..
yea,it smell nice,but for 10 sec
For me this is Versace Bright Crystal with rose. I love it, it's very feminine and romantic! My only complaint it's the poor lasting power.
Light, elegant, soft, almost innocent rose. Something I could wear anytime at workplace or during a summer holiday.
Lovely bottle, too.
This is a light, delicate rose. Unlike the Rose Absolute, this is a shy rose, it does not take center stage but mingles behind the curtains, unsure of when to come out.
It is a very... bland perfume. There is nothing there to make it special. Just a light, rosey-green, slightly soapy scent. Inoffensive but nothing special.
This perfume reminds me of YSL Parisienne which is also a rose scent. When compared side by side, Moment de Bonheur is very green in the beginning while Parisienne is sweet. In the dry down, Moment de Bonheur is mainly floral with a small amount of woody notes while Parisienne is spicy and much more woody. To me, Moment de Bonheur is like a lighter, greener version of Parisienne.
For rose scent lovers who prefer a light, green, floral rose, YR Moment de Bonheur is a good choice. For spicy, woody rose scent lovers, YSL Parisienne would fit better.
I first purchased a travel size bottle and upon wearing it a few times and seeing that the perfume itself was on Christmas sale, I decided to purchase it. I went with a 30 ml-bottle which, let me just say, it's the cutest thing on Earth. And it is absolutely gorgeous! I almost wanted to take a picture holding the bottle LOL.
Anyway, the important thing now: the smell. It doesn't smell like Chloe so much to me. Chloe is much too powdery and the rose is stronger. Moment de Bonheur is not powdery at all, but fresh, with a hing of something (perhaps patchouli). It's very nice, romantic and classy. It won't bother anyone. The sillage and longevity are quite poor, though. Gone in a few short hours and I spray more than usual.
Another thing that bugs me is that sometimes during the drydown I can feel an almost foul note arising. Like old people, sour and foul. It isn't strong and I can't feel it always, but it's there. Maybe it's the patchouli?! I never had a rose perfume before, so at first I thought that this would be a normal drydown for a rose, but then I tested Idylle Duet and Chloe and the foul note wasn't there at all. Too bad, it kind of ruins the perfume for me. I wont' repurchase this, I will check out the other rosy fragrances out there.
damn! What a sparkling rose! If they made rose champagne (they might i don't know...) this is what it would smell like! Very fresh and green, it's getting a thumbs up from me, and I normally do not like floral perfumes.
This is YR Comme Une Evidence mixed with a huge amount of fresh green roses. I'm not a fan of Comme Une Evidence, it's way too sharp and synthetic to me, but mixed with the lovely realistic wet green rose note it is actually wonderful!
The rose is very dominant in the opening, actually it's mainly just fresh green rose for the first 30 minutes. After that it gets deeper and a bit drier and then the Comme Une Evidence part comes noticeable. The drydown is a light chypre with the lovely green rose note that stays with you until the very end.
Lasting power and sillage are good and the bottle is very pretty. Another wonderful, inexpensive scent from YR that smells a lot richer and more sophisticated than you would expect when you see the price tag.
Youthful rose.
It's vibrant and fresh. The green notes are clearly detectable. The entire composition smells natural and feminine. Great for spring and summer. The longevity is quite good. I love it!
*****
I've got a sample from YR of this greenish-rosy and slightly soapy (from the patchouli note, I suppose) perfume. It's kind of fresh, but in an unsettled, rosy way. I can't say I like it, but I may imagine girls in their early 20s having another opinion, and even having a strong taste for this floral-green. For me, it's just a hint of green aromas (the cedar is noticeable, too), on a bed of synthetic roses, notwithstanding the publicity. I woulnd't describe it as a "happy" scent - for me it's just youthful and pink, somewhat sparkling at the beginning but not very harmonious. 2.75/5.
wow a fresh green rose scent!!!
perfectly feminine with pink rose and green leaves.
youthful, springtime, floral green.
This is a realy fresh and crisp rose, mixed whit crisp fresh green notes , this is very deligtful and nice , not heavy oldfashioned rose. This is like a fresh crisp morning whit dew in the gras outside , freshly picked rose on the table and a smiling faily around to share you up .
It is a long way between this types off fresh rose IMO
if you like roses but dont want the deap sometimes dusty dry rose petals feal .. go for this . just fresh and crisp.
Reminds me just a tiny bit off the freshnes in The one rose , but whitout the vanilla .. No stricking resamblense , but the perfume come to mind when i smelled this .
Nice , pretty and clean
Testing a sample right now, and it is indeed a hybrid of Comme Une Evidence, which I am not keen on, plus some rose and patchouli thrown on top. Off my want list from this moment.
Chromotherapy and Aromatherapy in one :)
I was suprised reading some reviews and people says CHLOE. I agree in some way, but the actual perfume I was thinking of was – GUCCI ENVY ME!
Ohkit.. Yes it is.. at least in my skin ;) Still haven´t oppen my box.. But already tried from a friend.. That´s why didn´t oppen mine!!
Chloe, is that you in a different bottle? :)
Old-fashioned, drug-store kind of rose scent. On my skin it stays heavy on the rose and not much else comes out. It has a "grandmotherly" feel to me. Not unpleasant but definitely not something I want to wear.
Smells like a cross between Yves Rocher Comme Une Evidence and Clinique Happy Heart....very fresh and romantic. It smells quite a bit like Versace Bright Crystal but much lighter...without the crispness of Bright Crystal.
Love this fragrance! It smells a lot more expensive than it actually is. It reminds me of Versace Bright Crystal:)
Finally got my bottle today. Although all the reviews here I had to wait from 22 august to try it and my patience has been rewarded.I like this perfume very much, the opening is a bit like Chloe, which I have too, but it's not so sharp. It's green, fresh, aquatic, calm and feminine. I think it's great as a every day spring/summer scent, but I use it at this moment too. In real the bottle is gorgious too. And surprise: I ordered the 50 ml with 15 ml purse-spray and I got a miniature of 5 ml and another 15 ml purse-spray as a present :) Wow. Now I can give my friend a bottle to try too. Make her enjoy this little gem too!
This perfume is a combination of Chloe and Stella, but better- not as intrusive as Chloe and not as linear as both. Not too strong , but long lasting ( 8 hours).Very soft and beautiful romantic perfume, highly recommended if you like roses. This is just wonderful and has quickly become my favorite rose scent!
Like this a lot! Very lovely, floral, clean and fresh. Indeed reminds me a bit of Chloé, but while Chloé seems a bit philosophic, Moment de Bonheur is just careless and free. Indeed a happy/lucky (=bonheur) fragrance. Great for everyday and every age. Recommended.
update: it does smell really different from the tester-packaging than on my skin. From the packaging it's really peony and lychee-ish, more fresh and light and juicy. On my skin it turns quite chypre and warm, must be the patchouly coming out, and reminding me of comme un evidence as well.
Clean, green, romantic, not very surprising and not very modern. Disappointing, to me. For discreet ladies. It makes me think about a sickly version of Comme une Evidence - Yves Rocher (which I like).
Modern and fresh natural-smelling rose fragrance. It's clean and green just like others said! It's very bright, cheerful, and romantic. There is no extra sugar added either. Everybody can enjoy this. Stella makes many nice rosy fragrance, but this one is very nice too. The price is probably even better. I may have to invest on a full bottle one day.
The green notes in top of Moment de Bonheur are very refreshing and crisp. I can also detect something sour reminding me of rhubarb. There's a beautiful rose note but the green notes are always playing the leading role for me. I get a little bit of spicy patchouli in the base where the scent gets a bit softer but the greens are still hanging on.
Moment de Bonheur is a soft floral and very feminine. It's beautiful every day scent. I quite like it although usually I'm not a big fan of Yves Rocher's perfumes.
But the best part for me are the colours of the bottle - absolutely gorgeous.
Funny how rose-based fragrances have made such a comeback, after having been regarded as "old-ladies" scents for so long.
Yes, Moment de Bonheur resembles Chloé Signature, but it has a green top, a fruitier heart and a less powdery base . Also I feel that though it's fresh it contains more of an ambery side than the fabric softener musk in Chloé. Therefor I personally find it less synthetic smelling. It actually reminds me more of Stella McCartney, but fresher and greener.
I feel that Un Moment de Bonheur is a bit of an answer to Yves Rocher's direct and slightly more upscale concurrent in Europe: L'Occitane. L'Occitane has enjoyed success with "pinky" fresh floral fragrances like Roses des 4 Reines, Pivoine and Fleur de Cerisiers. Moment de Bonheur is clearly in the same style.
Thought not unique it is well blended and enjoyable. I can see young girls wearing this as much as more mature ladies who entered Yves Rocher to buy a lipstick. Not sure it will dethrone YR's Comme Une Evidence the n°1 bestselling fragrance in France, but who knows. I won't mind smelling it over and over on the bus or in the metro ;-)
For Me it s the SAME as chloé edp.. exacly the same thing.. but cheaper..
I like the way this scent makes from the beginning to the end. It starts similarly to Chloe with a honey rosy old-fashioned accord. Than it becomes more modern and finally Moment de Bonheur loses all the connections with Chloe and turns into a lovely, beautiful, maybe even juicy rosy scent.
The rose part of this is not all bad, but the scent consists most widely of that well known cheap and very "rocherish" green cedar mishmash that makes it really a disappointment. And this is what stays the longest time. I do not at all understand the hype about that stuff. After the superb Secrets d'Essences fragrances I expected YR to go for a better style with their new releases.
Very lovely rosey scent. Reminds me of Chloé Rose Edition. I usually find Yves Rocher's frags very synthetic and headachingly, but this is truly pleasant to wear. Also very good silage.Definetely the best scent from YR ever !!
I have almost never experienced a more pleasant rose-smell than in this perfume. It's like burying your nose in a bouquet of real roses. I bought a mini bottle, 5 ml out of curiosity as to get a small break from all the oriental perfumes I always use. I don´t feel that this is a scent that I will use every day, but in the Spring sometime now and then. I think it´s a floral-aquatic, a bit watery, unlike Rose Absolue.
Lastingpower 4 hours, like most aquatic fragrances, but that´s just my own expericence.
This perfume is the best of all Yves Rocher scents. It is so gentle and smells so nice of roses, uhm. I think it maybe reminds me a little bit off chloe scents, but only a little bit. This scent is also a bit powdery as Chloe. This is my new favorite scent out of the 5 I usually use - a really nice everyday scent.
lovely, fresh, green & clean, got it for free as a rocher-gift, i love y.rocher
If Dahlia Noir was my good surprise of this fall, this is my dispointment of this fall . Unless my nose was tired (i've been trying several scents today) i have found this very boring , banal , light, unrisky , and strangly reminds me of Comme une Evidence O_o
I do not dislike it, i just don't care for it .
I got my sample from Yves Rocher today. Tried this one for about one hour now. I must say that this one is very pretty. Airy light and fresh with rose and cedar as the most dominant tones on my skin this far.Beautiful spices coming up next to companion the rose and wood. Not too much sweetness.More fresh than sweet.Very wellbalanced indeed. Makes me happy. I can recommend a try on this one.
This is one of the best new releases this year IMO. A very positive surprise. It's a nice and genuine rose scent that stays very long on my skin. I like scents like Paul Smiths' Rose and find this one a bit in the same line. Nice.
I've got a sample of this perfume(5ml) and i have to say I'm really surprised! I thought it would be very rosy, like Rose Absolue but it isn't. It is surprisingly like CHLOE(!). Moment de Bonheur means Moment of happiness and it makes feel you kinda calm and fullfiled. If you like CHLOE you will love it. But if you prefer scents which are significant, heavy and with character you'll be dissapointed. This perfume is very calm, flowery, soft, veeery feminine and subtle. So innocent and yet precious.
The bottle is beatifull and together with the scent very classy.
The first notes are greeny, fresh and turn into a soft rosy heart. The pink rosy heart and the cedar make the base very soft, subtle and powdery. And so it last.
Its lasting power is like most of YR perfumes circa 7 to 10 hours, quite long.
Summing up- the perfume is the little sister of Chloe but cheaper. A litlle precious scent that will stay with me for a very long time.
Thank You Yves Rocher that you make beauty for women available:*
I like the bottle very much, can't wait to smell what is inside. In september we will know ^^. If it should turn out to be a lighter version of Yvresse I don't care because I love Yvresse too.
The few first minutes I smell pink pepper and earl grey tea. Then after a few minutes it develops into a more complex scent – almost sparkling, reminding me a little of Yvresse only softer and more fresh. I don’t sense any sweet gourmand notes at all - something many other YR fragrances contain (So elixir, Rose absolute and flower party). I don’t know if it is the Rosa centifolia but there is a very charming flower note that I really like which is beautifully accompanied by soft cedar. It is not a great, deep personality but a pretty little jewel - I can’t help but love it.
