I just got a sample of this today. The package didn't look like much, so I didn't know what to expect. To me, it smells familiar, like a memory I can't quite grasp, yet unique at the same time. Like chatting with a stranger in a cafe, only to discover they are an old friend. To me, this fragrance is quiet, good if you don't want to make too much of a statement in a crowd; yet, on the other hand, also good if you have something intimate to whisper in someone's ear.
I used to wear this whenever I wanted to smell in a neutral way, but it's true that it doesn't last long, as most people said already. so why bother? (in this case, the disappearance of a fragrance from the Yves Rocher catalogue isn't such a great loss).
This perfume smells good but somehow unusual maybe because it smells different from the mainstream. It smells dry and fresh at the same time reminds me of a desert like they mixed the dry notes and fresh ones together, sth like a contradiction.Stays a longtime but since it is not loud people may think it disappeared.
But I have to sell it though I like the smell somehow.
The reason is that the quality of the stuff is not really like an EDP when I spray it I smell alcohol for a long time before it disappears , the alcohol is too strong that they could write it as one of the notes! I dont get any of the dry down notes and in the beginning I smell only strong alcohol.
And after like 1 hour it develops to a different scene sth like a cheap spray used to kill insects, the smell mixes with the perfume and stays there for quite long makes me feel unsecure to use it outside, it makes me cough , I used it only once outdoor and I noticed when I entered a room some people there started coughing! comparing with old Yves Rocher perfumes this stuff is sadly of a low quality.Doesnot worth the full price.
My nose gets bright and fresh bergamot with faint citrus notes in the opening followed by soft musk and shy vanilla notes in the dry down. This is a great everyday fragrance for fresh or cozy scent lovers.
I love Neonatura Cocoon (cacao notes) so I purchased this version even if the notes are really different. I have been disappointed : this one doesn't last, it's too light and too common.
I really like Cocoon and love Elevate (tall skinny green one), so when this Neonatura came out I was sure I would love it...well, let's just say that I definitely like it!!
It begins with a nice juicy ginger note over clear and almost feminine citruses, giving the normally fresh opening the feel of a summer breeze without the heat! Very different from the other two Neonatura scents, (one gourmand and oriental, the other verdant and quite lush) Souffle (Breath) is unexpectedly elegant, light and yummy (not gourmand, but almost tasty!). The heart is playful in a naughty sensual kind of way; as Faith17 pointed out so well. Tiare (polynesian gardenia) is tropical and balmy, the jasmine is creamy and the ylang is there; but it's more in the background, than full and rich. This has summer written all over it! The drydown of benzoin and amber is warmly resinous and just a bit spicy (almost peppery) and the vanilla is more of a creamy glaze, than overtly extract-y or beanish. Overall, a very interesting scent that is different from anything else from this company...
Sillage: decent
Longevity: okay
Overall: 3.25/5
I believe all three of the Neonatura scents to be more unisex, than feminine. Elevate (Seve?) is the most feminine of the three (hyacinth and narcissus), but all of these are wonderful on my male skin. I always get compliments from YR scents, usually more from the women's scents, actually.
This could be stronger, and could last a bit longer; but, then it would not be "Breath" would it???...It has a warming quality like a lover's breath on your skin and it is very much sexy, but not carnal. It is invigorating, but not sharp; sexy but not racy, and finally warm and comfortable. Lovely!
Alright, so I know this one as "Neonature Breath" but hey, it's the same thing. It's very fresh and clean and powdery and I Love It! It makes me want to take my makeup off, put on a pastel colored baby-doll nightgown, and roll around the bed waiting for my bf to come in the room... so whoever said intimate - yes you did get it right, but it doesn't create "I'm gonna jump your bones on these red silky sheets, cuz I'm horny" type of intimacy - it is very subtle and lovely... it's like when he finally enters the room and joins you in bed, kisses you in the neck and tells you how beautiful you are and how much he loves you... - That's it, right there!
I have about 10 perfumes that I wear and with guys at least, I find this one gets noticed.. I'm not sure why. Not even compliments, just "vibes". It is an interesting one though:)
I find this fragrance quite anonymous. It's not bad, but not excellent(I'm not a fan of citrus fragrances). I get a nice blend of ginger and orange in the opening. The drydown is a bit soapy with some jasmine there I think, but it fades away too quickly. I think the drydown and the opening could've switched places actually. The opening is so much better than the drydown (despite the fact that I'm not a fan of citrus fragrances. Go figure.).
Neonatura Souffle is a great office fragrance since it's not offensive in any way. The lasting power is poor though (at least on my skin), so it would be neat having a bottle in the desk drawer while at work ;)
To me, this is a very unusual smelling one... on me a get a scent thats very dry, dusty and sandy with some white flowers so it gives it a sunny/tropical/deserty feel.but warm and sensual at the same time. like a soft, breathless caress.. not like a warm enveloping blanket like some gourmand scents.. even the vanilla seems dry, dusty and sunny, not sweet, creamy or "yummy" like something you would put in a cake or would want to eat.
Overall, a nice unusual sunny white floral with some slightly unisex sandy vanillic accords.
Got this through a swap with our loviest Action, this had been on my list for quite a while. I am so glad I have this in my wardrobe!
The shlightly edgy citrus developes into a creamy soft fragrance.
On my skin it smells very much like Emporio Armani White with a dash of soft vanilla. The opening is very similar.
I just wish it could last longer.I cant detect the jasmine note but the ginger-citrus-Ylang Ylang-vanilla combo just lingers around for a while till it fades and a very close to skin scent is left. Have to reapply after few hours, but that doesnt bother me from using it. This is a very suitable fragrance for hot weather, its so inoffensive that you can wear it easily to office and formal appointments.
I like it very much and will keep using it as I feel very comfortable wearing this scent. Nice one from my favourite Yves Rocher!!!
This is a whisper of a fragrance - a delicate breath against the skin. Beautiful, but fleeting.
Souffle starts with an alcoholic citrus burst & then fades to a creamy, soft, feminine scent...the "ghost of tangerine peels past" hovers in the background...& then, aaaah, I find the soft, creamy ginger that I love in Omnia!
The tangerine peel, ginger & ylang-ylang are all dried & muted...so soft they are hardly there at all. No harsh jasmine only a fleeting glimpse of vanilla. It is like a second skin - very natural, not strong or sweet, just slightly sour, light & warm.
Oh, if only it was stronger, lasted longer - this beautiful fragrant apparition kisses my skin & then disappears into the ether.
Goes on citrusy. Turns into a VERY dry, dusty, sour orange, it’s a little like sniffing a glass of Minute Maid Orange juice. Better than the citronella smell. I just adon't catch most of the listed notes, even as it wears off - maybe a faint hint of vanilla. It turns into a dry, dusty, sour orange on me. Fortunately (for me), it’s not a heavy smell, or long-lasting. Not unpleasant, but not a “wow” in any way. Sorry, Yves Rocher. I want to comment that N. Souffle seems just as appropriate for a man.
Some folks may be confused about the name of this scent. It is "Souffle" in French. It is "Breath" in English, which is a direct translation. Yves Rocher is a French company.
I dunno. Not my thing. It doesn't smell bad or anything like that but I dunno, it just kinda left me "cold". It's powdery and soft which is a good thing, but then there's some really disturbing note which smells like old orange peels.Nein danke.
I love this scent. I only wish it would last longer on me. I made it an hour and a half before it disappeared.
It starts out with a blast of Italian lemon, a hint of bergamot, and the tiniest trace of mandarin (I don't get any ginger), then quickly fades to jasmine, mandarin, and a tiny bit of tiare followed by a hint of vanilla. Very nice overall, just wish it lasted longer.
u really have to say that yves rocher doesnt have often new parfums, but in the last years if they launch a new one it was brilliant and not cheap smelling ones, like the souffle for example its really special! i did not expecting too much cause the first "egg" was cocon (unique too but)was way too woody for me for loving it, souffle, i fell in love with this one, this is a mix of creme brulee (vanilla)with amber and jasmine and bergamot on the head, creamy, soft, special and so feminin:)
very pure / like a water splash ... It doesn't last long
Not bad, but it could be better! ) Moderate fragrance, for everyday wearing
i smelled it today, but didnt made any impression on me, i only remember that it was not bad, but nothing more.
Very soft and feminine. It doesn't last long.
The first perfume of yves rocher that doesn't make any cheap impression(the others seem too synthetic and one-sided to me). There are several different levels, starting with fresh citrus notes and ending with well-balanced, warm base notes. Definitely one of my faves.
