Vanille Bourbon Yves Rocher for women

Super sweet gourmand with carmelized sugar and vanilla, reminds me very much of L de Lolita Lempicka when it opens (except that L seems to have more notes and complexity overall), then much later during the drydown it reminds me of Serge Lutens Un Bois Vanille, of all things! (which I couldn't pull up on the "This perfume reminds me of . . " menu above.

This used to be my signature scent when I was a teen. It's cheap and lasts very long. It is very strong and now I don't wear it as much.

This was way too boozy on my skin... all alcohol! Very strong as well, and I guess it didn't suit me because even when I would spray on the backs of my knees and nowhere else I would smell it annoyingly all day! oh well, it can't work out for everyone!

Yves Rocher's Vanille is the 2nd best vanilla scent after Body Shop's Amorito.
This scent is so warm, lovely, feminine, sweet and foody that I have emptied at least 5 100ml bottles so far.
I will definitely buy another bottle the next time I am on the continent as unfortunately Yves Rocher still have not opened a shop in London.

I was surprised at how much I loved this one. Coming from someone who loves florals more than any other kind of scents, thats saying a lot for this fragrance. It is linear but still very nice, warm, one of the best vanilla scents I have found. I also have the body scrub which is simply delicious. The lasting power is very good too. Wish YR would make their botanical colognes just as strong.

I think it is the best budget friendly vanilla scent ever. It is not expensive, yes; but it smells not cheap at all. It sits so well on skin and smells of pure vanilla.

I bought it for the first time before a trip to Paris and now when I smell it it reminds me of the delicious, warm parisian bakery smell on a chilly autumn day.

I love this fragrance very much I can not remember how many bottles of it I used (ok mum also helped to consume :) ) . Dont compare it to the TBS Vanilla scent because they are not at the same league at all. TBS Vanilla smells waaaay synthetic and cheap. But you won't regret buying this one.
I always draw compliments when I use it.

I bought a small bottle of this to see if I would get luck to have an in-expensive yet fabulous vanilla scent. Well, disappointed again.

Vanille Bourbon on me smells not at all like warm creamy vanilla. I've no idear with the smell of "orange juice with caramel" that maijaaijam mentioned, but I think it's quite like those yellow-ish gel(usually with a sweet lemon flavour) that's used for decorating cake.

I think my skin chemisty doesn't go well with this scent, but it worth a try. If you got luck, this would be a great low-budget choice.

I was presented the cosmetic set of this: perfume, scrub and the shower gel. The shower gel and the scrub were usable, but the perfume... ouch! Strong synthetic, smothering and not long lasting (to my happiness) baddie like other fragrances from this series.

I wanted to add something. Something absolutely shocking for me.
My wrists and my neck got green thanks to Vanilla Bourbon! I noticed it a few minutes ago, and it means dustbin for this EDT.
Obviously, my body chemistry and this frag absolutely doesn't belong together.

I was expecting pure vanilla, but this is something wierd:D
First of all, it's very sugary, not really in vanillish way. When I'm sniffing it from the cap, it smells like orange juice with caramel.
Overall, on my skin it smells like sugary citrus with vanilla:D
Lasting power is veeeery weak - I must reapply it after hour or two.
Vanilla from The Body Shop is better and more "vanillish".

Hay gente que dice que huele a:algodon de azucar,marshmallow,galletas...
EL gel es aún más delicioso que la colonia y la crema y deja aroma en la piel bastante perdurable,la crema corporal no es emasiado hidratante pero deja una sensacion de piel aterciopelada y que dan ganas de comersela!

This is a very intense vanilla scent - I used to like to wear it and always would have people comment on it, although usually by saying "does someone here have a cappuccino?" Layered with lotion and applied liberally the scent would last a full day easily. I don't wear vanilla alone anymore because my hubby doesn't like it, but if you like a good vanilla scent, this is it. Very nice, sweet and warm.

I used to wear this many years ago but I easily got bored. It's just an over sweet vanilla with no movement, very stiff and sickening after a while. Better than other vanilla-fake scents.

Sooo sweet and delicious, perfect for people who loves this kind of scents. I use to mix it with my cinnamon perfume!

i remember ordering this in my high school days from the catalogue. Very nice casual scent, but when i overdid it i felt i smelled like an old lady.
Lovely home spray also, but be careful because it will make you hungry :)

Got mine in the mail yesterday! Well worth the $10! It smells like vanilla with maybe a bit of caramel or amber. Very candy like, sweet and warm. It doesnt smell cheap which I was worried about and it has pretty good lasting power. Smells a bit like Serendipitous.

It's sweet and warm, but how it smells will depend strongly on your chemistry. On one of my friends it smells lovely -like caramel, but on me I only get a Marie-biscuit smell which I can't stand.
Nevertheless I must point out that it's an artificial vanilla -like the little vanilla extract bottles my mom uses for her cakes.

I bought this recently for the sole purpose of layering with other scents. So today I layered it with Dalimania for the ultimate candy experience and I have to admit, I'm impressed. It's even better then I imagined!
You have to adore supersweet scents though or you'll be disappointed.
Lovely sweet and candyish vanilla which on it's own kinda smells like caramel on me. Very inexpensive, too.

I got it for my birthday a couple of years ago, 20 ml, and still havent used it. The perfume is known to cause quite a lot of people a headache, thought very beautiful, it is very strong and has got some nauesating ingredient in it; it is very long lasting unfortunately. It took me a while to get to used to it, but still I cant wear it for a longer time; I sometimes use it as a base for a different perfume.

This fragrance is very good for people which love vanilla.It is warm and creamy and i think it's not only a smell of vanilla.This parfume is very sweet like a pralin.It remembers me of vanille Pudding.
The Bottle is sober and natural.
