Opium Fraicheur d'Orient is a limited edition from 1998 of the famous Opium perfume. This variation is fresher than the original, as the name says ("oriental freshness"), perfect for summer days with its floral, spicy aromas of wood and without alcohol. The composition is made of tangerine, pepper, ginger, cinnamon, jasmine, carnation, coriander, musk, amber, patchouli, wood notes and resins.

It smells so wonderful. It's smells of spicy Coca Cola and something sweet, I love it.

I have a tester bottle and on the bottle it says A sparkling harmony, sensual and gourmand.

Top notes: Tangerine, Watermelon
Middle notes: Jasmin, Magnolia
Base notes: Vanilla, Caramel

Just a deep breath of this phenomenon decodes all its secrets if you know the other versions.
Just that husky musky floral tone which penetrates to with the first whiff you take.
It's not the definition of "fresh" as you expect. It's only a bit, just a bit slighter composition of Opium. Yet, robustly strong and influential.
This masterpiece is awfully perfect.

Gives me that 1.001 Nights feeling.
But the staying power is almost inexistent.
