Beautiful and blossomy on a paper strip. You get pure lily of the valley and jasmine with hardly any spice. On skin, everything blends together into a creamy, musky bomb. Gotta go easy with this one.

It's not as heavy as the original one is but more floral, or better to say more blossomy which in waxiness exposures floral and a little bit heavy. I'm not sure about longevity but though it must be great. Sillage is perfect.

This is one of the most beautiful and memorable bottles I have ever encountered! It reminds me of something you would have seen sitting on a dressing table in the Victorian era.
The fragrance itself, to me, is the exact same as the original Opium edt. It opens up with smokey woods and spices, then dries down to patchouli, incense, smokey powder and wood. I love it!
This is something Stevie Nicks would have worn circa 1977 while on the dark, smokey stage during her "Rhiannon" number.
There is a reason Opium stirred up so much talk 33 years ago. It is one of the most haunting, mysterious and enchanted perfumes ever created.

The bottle is absolutely lovely, and the fragrance still was made with oakmoss. This year of Opium was very good~
