Opium Pour Homme Eau d'Orient 2007 Yves Saint Laurent for men

It's just okay. My mom is the only one who notices its good so far.

This one is nearest scent to the original Opium pour homme among three branches.
But clearly it is softer and fresher than Opium. It opens in lots of citruses and continues with spicy pattern. In middle it nears to Opium and lose its freshness a bit. Comparing to original one, it's cleaner and softer but still intense in spicy and sharpness.
If Opium pour homme disturbs you, if it's so classic and not on your style, you can rely on this one. It's the safer version! Same style but different moods.
I suggest it for outdoor, late spring, summer and early autumn.

after i own the original opium and Opium Eau d'Orient 2006+2007 , i could say i appreciate opium line especially the limited edition, well done ysl.
with no big different between them, the opium cruise you into spicy world mixed with woody and slight citrus, its bring the warming to you.

opening spicy and keep on , then dry down to spicy with woody note
longevity and sillage are good

as krmarich says: YSL is no longer producing these surprising limited editions. Such a shame!

Very rounded opening of spices and citrus.
Reminds me of some chinese ointment, the pleasent kind of couse.I keep lifting up my wrist to inhale this mysterious scent because I really can't tell what in it. After a cloud of oriental smoke settled, more spices come out. Warm and soothing but still remains perplex and interesting.
The sandalwood couldn't comes soon enough, but when it's there...oh so smooth and warm with a nice powdery background. A very soothing, comfort and warm fragrance.Exquisite blend. Definately a unisex.
