The perfume is named after Paris, the adored city of Yves Saint Laurent, who created it as a tribute to the Parisiennes who are always elegant, romantic, vivacious, ironic, simple and charming. Paris is a brilliant harmony of roses and violet flowers. This woody-floral starts with bergamot and violet, followed my may rose and iris at its heart, ending with sensational warmth of sandalwood. It was created in 1983.

Oh, god, clings like detergent on me. Gave mine to a friend who ended up spraying it in her shoes ... the perfume made them smell much worse! A great shame -- I love a floral and a good rose is to die for! But this is a rose scent that packs an almighty 80s punch.

Maybe the best rosescent ever, lovely and rich, but not annoyingly sweet. Feminine, happy and chic Yves saint Laurent classic.

Extravagantly romantic rose, violets and more, in a fresh multicolor bouquet. In the EDT, sheerer and more green. In the EDP, technicolor splendor! This was my wedding fragrance; it always brings me joy.
