Yvresse is sparkly and dizzying fragrance. It was first named Champagne. Yvresse was created in 1993. it is a fragrance suitable for all occasions and moods and absolutely meets the words of Napoleon «I drink Champaign when I win, to celebrate... and I drink Champaign when I lose, for solace.» Sharp floral-fruity fragrance is still not a classic chypre which demands time to open on the skin; Yvresse composition sounds short enough, just like fulminant impact of Champaign: as soon as brilliant top notes disappear, the scent wraps you with its warmth. The main notes are; nectarine, anise, menthol, Otto rose, blue rose, litchi, oak moss, patchouli, vetiver. Yves Saint Laurent changed the name from Champaign to Yvresse because of law suits filed by Champaign producers.
Yvress was launched in 1993. The nose behind this fragrance is Sophia Grojsman.

I love it. I love, because they are joyful, change. I admire in it courageous juxtaposition notes fruits with chypre. Yvresse are very amusing, appealing, warm, theatrical, baroque, gold. Bravo Sophia Grojsmann! - Yvresse it is masterpiece!

Rancid old lady. I wonder how it would smell if they took away the caraway, mint, lily of the valley and vetiver.... I think it would've turned out a much nicer, softer scent. It's just too busy.
