Mandarin is sparkling, and warm citrusy fragrance developed by the co-founder of Zents John Curran, who dedicated it to the memory of the Orient. Top notes: lemon and lime. Heart: orange blossom. Base: ginger, cardamom, nutmeg and sandalwood.
It is available as 50 ml EDT.

Mandarin is just okay in my book. Orange and ginger is right. I layered this with another citrus scent I have and like it much better. The layering gave both scents some dimension and depth. I think this would be great in the body oil to spritz on when you don't want to really wear much scent. It is refreshing like all of the Zents line really, but my least favorite so far.
According to my manufacturer's sample card, these are the notes of Zents MANDARIN:
top: succulent mandarin
heart: tropical ginger blossom
base: enchanting cardamom, warm nutmeg, and saffron
I'm not smelling any lemon or lime in this composition whatsoever (as are listed among the Fragrantica notes...). Basically this all-natural perfume oil is pretty simple, with a dominant ginger note followed by the mandarin and only a touch of spice. To my nose, MANDARIN smells very similar to BBW Aromatherapy ORANGE GINGER, which makes a lot of sense since it, too, is made from essential oils.
MANDARIN is fine for what it is: a simple mixture of primarily two essential oils. Nothing new at all, but nice enough, if you happen to like the ginger-orange combination, which is not one of my personal favorites.
Very warm inviting citrus, but not as spicy as Zents Sun. This is my second favorite by Zents, next to Sun. It is a very sunny, happy feel good scent that will brighten anyone's day. Zents are one of my favorite brands and the perfumes turn out very pure and true to their character.
