Gratitude is so soft and subtle. It is a true, creamy, slightly buttery vanilla with a hint of citrus. The "grapefruit" note translates to something more like orange or mango. I agree with a review below me that compares this fragrance to an orange creamsicle. I think that I will use this as a base for layering some of my other fragrances. Today, in fact, Gratitude is wearing nicely beneath Chanel No. 5 Eau Premiere. Worn alone, Gratitude is nice but far too simple for my taste.

Smells exactly like the notes. After the scent wears a few mintues, it smells like an orange creamsicle. I don't find the fragrance cloying sweet nor is the grapfruit too bitter or sharp. More on the softer side. Definately worth trying for those who like grapefrut and vanilla notes and need a natural perfume.
