head: unusual enough – no classic head note.
heart: radiant, spicy elements such as roman chamomile, pink pepper, elemi create the prelude.
base: no less unusual – the harmony with sacral notes of cistus, kashmir wood, styrax, ambergris, musk, incense, sandal wood, patchouli. mb03 was launched in 2007. The nose behind this fragrance is Mark Buxton.

Boring. I surely can't find this unisex and even on a man I find this totally uninteresting. Just another one of those spicy aftershavy things.

First of all, I like MB3, I like Mark Buxton's creations and I totally loved a bunch of them such as CDG 2 Man or CDG Original but we really needed another one like Avignon, Around Midnight, Cardinal? This is a good, dark church-y incense but, unfortunately, it's really too similar to the ones I mentioned which are cheaper and much more readily available (Avignon anyone?).

Perfumes by Mark Buxton are always a bit the same. "MB 03" smells like "Around Midnight" and both are similar to "Comme des Garcons" "2 Man" - a Mark Buxton scent, too. They´re all not bad - you feel like being in a catholic church (because of the incense) - but in my opinion a perfume designer should be more creative.
