Sun, finally. A breath of wind. The soul smiles.
head: it begins with a fresh liveliness of exotic fruits. Tangerine, neroli, davana, mango leaves.
heart: a new interpretation of white flowers. Peony, iris, mango.
base: rounded off through the depth of kashmir wood, vetiver, musk.
A longing in this instance became a career. Patricia Choux was already dreaming of creating perfume while still in her childhood, and with her admission to the renowned ISIPCA (Institut supérieur international du parfum, de la cosmétique et de l'aromatique alimentaire) school for perfumers in Paris she achieved the crucial step towards fulfilling her dream.
Her training in Paris was followed by years of practice with Symrise in Holzminden, Germany’s largest fragrance company, and further assignments as a perfumer in London, Paris and New York, where she has been living and working since 2005.
Her style is bold, crazy, chic. Her creations are determined by impressions gleaned during her travels: landscapes, colors, smells and cultures become the essences of her fragrances, combining into fresh, exciting compositions. She experiments as much with the exotic as with the endless facets of the scent of jasmine, her favorite blossom.
For Thorsten Biehl, Patricia Choux has created two perfumes in the biehl. parfumkunstwerke gallery: sunny, airy pc01, and vibrant, cheerful pc02. pc01 was launched in 2007.

I was looking forward to trying this sample, for I usually don't like flowers and am not one for 'chilled' but I *love* Patricia Choux 02... Well, I am not disappointed! I would describe this as the inviting smell of chilled melon tea - but not in a boring, one dimensional way. I can imagine this worn by great statesladies and it would not be out of place. I can't see it worn by men, though. Or it would have to be a special breed of men that frequent teahouses?
This is my new favourite! I love the flowery, powdery scent and it s like nothing else I ve smelled before. I smell the mango and neroli, then the lovely iris and peony and in the drydown I smell the beach and sea plus a woody scent that I cannot name...to me it simply felt great. On my pulse it lasted for 6 hours..and thereafter I could only detect it on my clothes.. also it s very expensive it smells the same way too. GREAT design
I find this to be a quite pulpy, zesty citrus, you definitely smell the orangey/mango/green top notes, the florals creep in gently, and it ultimately dries down to a soft woody scent. i didn't find the lasting power to be that great but it doesn't bother me in this case, because I dont like it enough to buy a FB. the citrus is just too zesty for me. This is marketed as unisex, which i guess it could be but I think women would prefer it.
