Warm, sweet (too sweet perhaps) and creamy with a faint suggestion of something like aniseed or liquorice - that must be the cardamom. Reminds me of vanilla ice-cream melting over a hot pudding!
The combination of honey and vanilla is too much for me, I prefer perfumes that are sweetened with fruits instead. Longevity is good, lasting most of the day.
This smells very gourmand to me, but you may not think so. I guess it all depends on how you feel about honey in perfumes. I don't get ANY rose at all, which surprises me because I often find I can pick out rose in a perfume at fifty paces and it usually turns me right off.
Warm, sweet wood. Spicy on the oriental side. Musky, honeyed patchouly heaven. If Nag Champa was liquefied it may smell like this. I never do get the bergamot and the flowers are ethereal, barely there. This is one to love forever. Not overbearing but just this side of sweet woody gourmand. Good silliage. As it dries down it is a nice skinscent for my chemistry.
It's not specifically listed but I could smell guaiac, my all time favourite wood note. I'd never want to run out of it. Perhaps ideally suited for fall or winter but the choice is yours. Isn't it nice to have choices?
P.S. Luckyscent.com also lists white lavender as a note.
PC02 instantly evokes nice pictures for me. I smell a breezy ocean pier in bright sunlight, making coffee while the shortbreads are waiting to get into the oven. I love this scent! Ususally I get bored after wearing something a couple of times but PC02 I have had for half a year now and still have not got tired of it. Contrary to some other reviewers, I do not find PC02 'syrupy sweet' - not at all! I find this Biehl creation warm, inviting, comforting, quite eccentric but also lighthearted and airy.
Longevity is fine; applied in the morning, I can still detect it at 10 PM. I just have to say, I never get any compliment wearing this :-/ ... Some people even ask 'what is this smell, have you been cleaning paint' - that defines 'niche perfume' right on, doesn't it...
this is a big WOW.
honestly, not a big fan of definite spicy perfumes but again, the notes lured me into ordering a sample (not sure why it is categorised chypre fruity).
this one starts off with a mouthwatering citrus and spice-burst.
i really cannot compare this to anything i have smellt before. it keeps the citruses, evolves with the spices and is flavored with a drop of honey.
delizioso con una nota affumicata della vaniglia di incenso
The spices, almond & freesia mix like a liquid candy scent on my skin...Not at all sickly sweet, but in a 'can't wait to see what flavor my nose gets.' The woodsy, tonka bean and white honey seal the deal for me...It's a KEEPER!
The first time I tried this, it was al milky honey and vanilla musk with spices and cardamom. Foody, and rather delicious with a smokey incense vanilla note at end that was gorgeous. On a second try, it went on just like bug spray and took an hour to get to the sweet vanilla incense. I blame chemistry, but it's definitely an intriguing fragrance with layers and personality. It's not quite gourmand, but it's got those earmarks.
