David Bowie..great taste.Life On Mars is my all time favourite song.
The fact that you liked Bowie rather than Osmond/Cassidy makes me think you might be slightly older than me (lol.that's what I choose to believe,anyway.My older sister was into Bowie and Bolan)
I had a spacehopper and some luminous green clackers,and my jacko rollerskates were never off my feet in 1971.
I do remember David Banner sadly walking up the road in The Incredible Hulk (I can hear the music in my head right now!)
Hostess trolleys,Teasmades and serving hatches were the height of middle class sophistication,weren't they. Have you ever seen Abigail's Party? It's SO evocative of the mid-seventies.I love it,I could watch it over and over.
