Pearl Apothia for women Pictures

Ron Robinson presents perfume Pearl, specially created to celebrate 30 years of the house of Apothia, adding perfumes to their rich assortment after so many years of work.

Perfume Pearl was created in cooperation with perfumer Stephen Nilsen of Givaudan, who worked on its development for two years. The designer's wish was that this perfume would fit into jeans and everyday activities, but also to be ideal for evening, elegant occasions with , say, a little black dress.

The fragrance was created of aromas deriving from Asia, such as shiso leaves and plum blossom. It opens with shiso leaves, plum blossom and yuzu. A heart is enriched with white peony, pink jasmine and Japanese honeysuckle, while a base is built of a mixture of iris root, warm golden amber and musk accords.

Besides Ron Robinson, the company Through Smoke Creative was in charge of package design. Perfume Pearl is available in amount of 50ml edp and you will be able to find it in stores from March 2009.

Pearl Fragrance Reviews

i had been reading all the reviews about it, and it sounded like such a lovely perfume. i have child already, and i am a huge fan of white florals but i decided to switch it up and try something new for fall. when i unwrapped the box, i smelled citrus but as soon as i sprayed some on my wrist, it smelled so fresh and green at first, with a small amount of floral. the peony is what is smelled first. the drydown is what makes this. it dried down to a beautiful musky scent. the amber is the most dominant note that comes out on me.

all in all, i love the way this smells. it's something completely different from all the other perfumes i own. it's a very comforting, yet sexy scent. it reminds me of a walk in new york on a fall morning. i would recommend this to anyone who wants to try something new and unusual for them!

I purchased a sample of this based on the wonderful review by miss nightingale! What can I say, Pearl is a beautiful soft and elegant fragrance, I think it is light but longevity is amazing - I can still smell this at the end of the day. It develops over time into a deep warm musk. I splurged and brought a full size of this and I love it, a definite classic.

While this perfume is nice, it's a bit too much of a sharp floral. It reminds me of laundry detergent with a bit of musk thrown in. I mostly smell peony and honeysuckle, very similar in style to Burberry London Special Edition. But to be completely honest, I think Burberry is better because it's less of an assault on my nose--rounder, softer, sweeter. Pearl seems an odd name for this perfume. I don't see the connection between the scent and the name at all.

I ordered a sample of this scent and have been wearing it for a couple of days. It is really quite lovely though I admit I am a sucker for floral, woody, musky scents. This is light and soft, yet sillage is very good. And that's saying something for a small vial. It feels like it is blended perfectly because none of the notes hit you square in the head - like the jasmine. Jasmine and honeysuckle both can be over-powering if not balanced with a good base.

I had read an article about Apothica and Ron Robinson so wanted to give this a try. I'm so glad I did. As soon as I can afford it I plan to purchase this. So nice!!

I love your review! I have wanted this scent ever since it came out. No one else seems to have sniffed it... or at least not written a review. Pearl is a new classic and trully timeless.

In celebration of 30 years of Apothia - an exclusive A-Lister fashionable boutique in Los Angeles - Ron Robinson launches an exquisite gem of a fragrance: Pearl.

The top note shimmers with the unusual and strikingly beautiful shiso leaf & plum blosson; the middle notes are a melody of gentle floral muskiness, outstanding white peony & Japanese honeysuckle. The base is deeper, but never dark, with a warmly sensitive golden amber, ivory musk and calming orris.

The creators say they wanted to create a fragrance that is "...understated yet powerful; classy, yet trendy and always perfectly polished. [That] works equally well worn with jeans and a tee or that sexy black dress." - I really believe they have been successful in their mission! I can see myself wearing this with a classic pair of jeans & a crisp white shirt, or dancing in the moonlight in an Audrey Hepburn-esque Little Black Dress - vintage of course, daaaaahling - with a glass of champagne in my hand, a long string of pearls twisting as I move.

The longevity is very good - this starts quite softly, with a touch of freshness, but seems to bloom with the heat of your skin. A fragrant trail of jasmine musk - hints of Narciso Rodriguez mixed with the lightness of Noa. A definite keeper for any time of year, but especially for those looking for a sexy yet subtle & not overwhelming perfume for the warmer months ahead.
