"its the weakest cologne I now have to the extent I wore 14 sprays today mostly spayed on the shoulders of my shirt and I really couldn't even tell it was there"
Guys...
This is called self-induced olfactory fatigue. No, really, I mean it, that really is what it is. People seem to hate this explanation, but it's the truth whether you like it or not. You can literally make it happen with just about any fragrance.
This isn't a myth or a theory, this phenomenon is absolutely real. Think about it, you ever noticed how sitting in the bathroom taking a dump, you quickly stop noticing your own brand? You ever have a friend who has way too many cats and dogs, smells like ammonia and wet fur all the time, but it literally completely escapes them that they stink, despite the fact you (and everyone else) picks up on it immediately? Exactly, and it doesn't take a year of living in it for your nose to become familiarized to it and stop noticing as much either.
If you want bona fide first hand proof, try the following spray routine. It is nearly guaranteed to make almost any fragrance really difficult if not impossible for you to pick up whiffs of after application, but other people will be able to detect it from half the room away.
Take a powerful, aromatic fragrance, let's go with Sauvage in this example. Most people would agree that Sauvage not only has longevity, but it's fairly easy to pick up whiffs of it all day long when wearing it if you're not overly liberal with the trigger and have some discretion about where you spray. Take your Sauvage and go fuckin hammo. Spray your arms, back of hands, inside of wrist, tops and bottoms of lower arm, your shoulders, the front of and the dip of your neck, both sides of the neck (but make sure it's in front of the ears so I can prove my fuckin point), and definitely the inside and outside of your shirt.
Lastly (but most importantly) don't forget the real MVP and star of the show by giving your donny johnson and his coinpurse a minimum of about eight and a half atomizations as well. Go on now, hop to!
What's wrong?... Don't be shy. I'm not watching. In fact, forget about Sauvage! I recommend you just hook up an industrial water jet straight in to a 50 gallon reservoir of twice-concentrated Eros EDP and take aim at those puppies until they glow as blue as the bottle it comes in.
Sensitive skin; smecksmitive schmig.
"Testicular carcinoma" you say?
Look, life's way too short to get all hung-up on trivialities like "caution" and "moderation".
I mean shit, i'm pretty sure they can just scalpel melanoma right off the top these days right? What doesn't kill us makes us deader, and it's IMPORTANT to build character through adversity.
Look all jokes of ballspraying aside, I guarantee you that 99/100 people who spray 14+ times will stink out a whole-ass 12-step program meeting room, but in like 30m (or honestly 5 minutes) they won't be able to notice they're wearing a fragrance any more. And that's what happened with the dude above too. He drowned himself in it and so he couldn't smell it anymore.
But instead of recognizing the complete obvious, they start feeling froggy about it and decide it's their calling in life to bring some justice to this injustice, and after a full-tilt sprinting start they execute, in one jerky and spazmatic motion, a jaw-dropping reverse-double-backflip over and into their computer chair. They fire up the 'ol yellowed-gray windows 98 desktop, pop in one of the 719 America Online Internet free-trial discs lying around, and just five whole minutes of screeching-dial-up-tone later, they blaze past the log-in screen at a sandpaper-smooth 56kbs.
So there they on Fragrantica looking like Dennis the Menace and pen a snarky review bitching about the longevity and performance, despite the fact their momma just called to administer a tough-love reality-check talkin 'bout "Listen Brandon, how many times have I told you that less-is-more? The '70s showed up complaining because they want their pre-regulation-era vintage petrol-and-fir-in-a-bottle back."
Don't listen to the kinds of drivel I quoted above. It's either an intentional troll designed to trick the uninitiated into suffocating their coworkers/significant others/strangers, someone with a grudge to pick with the company or line, or (and most likely) they really are just not THINKING about what they're saying...
I suppose one other possibility is they received fake product, but I tend to think that the likelihood of that happening is astronomically, infinitesimally small unless they're eBaying super popular mainstream niche bottles at silly low prices without vetting the seller first and not knowing what they're doing..
P.S.: I'm not even saying this because I believe in moderation, obviously.
Straight up, the only acceptable adjective to describe my type of overspraying is "felonious" folks. I'm talking subbed up on r/fuckyourolfactorypersonalspace, #choketheneighborhoodout, no need to discover it because i'm definitely announcing it, even my balls smell better than you type of oversprayer. I'm fucking kidding but you get my point, I don't believe in sissy-spraying. So I have the experience necessary to tell you that olfactory fatigue is as real as it gets. If you're spraying 14+ sprays during your application, you just need to accept that you burnt off half your cilia and the rest are in desperate need of a juice-box and a few quick breaths to regain their composure before getting back into the action.

To difference to its mother fragrance Aqva Pour Homme, this add a bit sweetness and is less intense in the seaweed note, is more soft in comparison with Aqva Pour Homme, but is still very nice.
This fragrance is a very good choice to use in summer and spring, or in hot days, vacations on the beach, etc.
Its longevity was aproximately to 8 hrs. and projection moderate.

It works well with most skins (I've had friends who also used it), most sweats (not for people with strong BO as it is not strong enough to cover much up), and back then I noticed it combined well with cigarette smoke (not to "masks" it, but in conjunction). I've long since quit smoking but I do have fond memories of picking my own jacket the next day and thinking "dayummm this smells good". It does suffer a tiny bit in lasting power, if you can't bring it with you and need to last through a day (say work and then going out), it will be very faint at the end. Works well for ~3hrs.

Now I'm listening to my Spotify playlist I created in March 2019, suddenly thinking of this perfume.
Good Vibrations used to be our favourite song, old but pleasant.
I think it is the same with this perfume. Simple, charming, gentle.
When I think of this perfume, I think of a smart gentleman. I love it.

Starts with zesty fruits, white flowers and salty water.
The marine notes are linear throughout.
Slightly warm base means that the Marine never gets too icy.
A rather nice beach & ocean scent.
While the performance is fair, it does become somewhat one dimensional on my skin after a hour or so - all I can smell is salty sea water, which I suppose is true to the name!
I tend to reapply after 5 hours.
A good buy for folks looking for an ocean scent; great spray for a hot summer day. More watery and salty than the original Aqva. The later Atlantiqve release is more versatile and likely to appeal to more people.

Portrait: "The Real Aquaman will smell like this. Period. A man for whom the ocean is very near to his heart. He loves the ocean and related lifestyle. Loves seafood, surfing is his cup of tea, rides a powerboat and never gets tired to go fishing. Tough body, 6 pack abs, rough beard and tanned."
I would highly recommend putting this fragrance in the refrigerator or just do like me... put it in the ice bucket with your beers 15 mins before using it. It works fantastically gorgeous!

Mystères du Château de Dé
Aqva is artistic and challenging. Respect to a fashion house whose bean counters OK'd this fragrance, which is not obvious and easy. It's "living" notes are contemporary and fashion forward in the aquatic game, despite being a decade+ old. My bottle is new 2020, and I wonder if this fragrance changes over the years through reformulations and evolving molecules. I can't see how this is a "boring" or "typical" or "light" aquatic. Yes it vibrates high, but to me it's complex and not even pretty, rather intellectual. How can something be so synthetic yet seem to breathe? Some wears are fishier than others. Beware, it divides, as you can read below. Marine is not a crowd pleaser.

this one is the most similar to the original
lighter and slightly different but in a good way!

I will rank them

On my other arm I have the original Bvlgari Aqva. That one is deeper/darker like its bottle. But it has a note that I don't like. Aqva Marine is a better summer scent in my opinion.

It is definitely unisex and leans more feminine imo. It has the shower gel vibe but it's too strong in the synthetic notes and smells overly sweet. Have no idea about the actual notes, doesnt smell like anything in particular, just a synthetic scent that is trying to smell aquatic. Almost reminds me of a chlorine filled pool, or some variation of scent you might smell on a high school girl at a public pool lol.

Alisaaa131
I find this to be unisex until the dry down it's slightly masculine but not to the point where people would give me weird looks.
I get bright grapefruit that quickly turns into a synthetic watery fragrance.
Super refreshing after the gym or in the summer!
Nothing mind blowing or attention grabbing, just a surprisingly long lasting freshie (:
TheMostSavage
it's got a kind of a soapy/deodorant vibe to this. you won't "smell like the sea" or anything here, nope. you'll smell like you're wearing a good smelling deodorant or antipersperant. I personally like it, but I could see how a lot of people would be underwhelmed.
projection and performance is weak to moderate. and this definitely leans feminine. not a masculine manly cologne at all, although aquatics are arguably not masculine to begin with so yeah. it's overall pretty decent. not anything to write home about but pretty good. overpriced by about 15-20 bucks imo

It's a much lighter, fresher version of The Original Aqua with a slight seaweed note. The opening is nice and fresh but as it dries down I can barely smell it at all. Maybe it projects better to other people around me but to me it comes off as a very subtle fresher version of Regular Aqua with a seaweed note that reminds me of the eggyolk-like smell of Atlantique. This fragrance is very subtle and I just don't see it having a lot of projection as I would imagine an outdoor's summer fragrance should have.
If you have seen my other reviews you should know that I'm not a fan of the Bvlgari Aqua line at all and as much as I would like to say something positive, I just think this whole DNA is boring and overused. I'm yet to try Aqua Amarra so I still have some hope for that one.
Aqua Marine brings nothing new to the table, it sits between Original and Atlantique, but it's even more muted with a peculiar seaweed note that I don't enjoy.

However after trying it a few times, I don't think I'll ever get any use out of it. The seaweed note which I thought I wouldn't mind ends up being really overpowering and nauseating. It's kind of gross. Like rotting seaweed on a beach.. and that's the note that stays the longest, even after washing it off. I like the other parts of the fragrance; the aquatic, the citrus, but something about this seaweed is a big turn off.
I can't imagine wearing this in public.

Izaaks perspective
I would definitely try before you buy because that seaweed note can be sharp which is a turn off for some people. Overall solid fragrance from Bvlgari

You can virtually taste the salty air note in the opening; it takes me back to my hometown (a coastal city), with me standing at the bow of a racing speedboat as it crashes waves on the way to the nearest island getaway. It's a stellar marine note that makes Aqva Marine an outstanding offering in the Aqva lineup.
Best for air-conditioned spaces and on clothes; however still holds its own when worn outdoors.
This one is a keeper; a perfect foil for the sweet Tonka + Fruity + Vanilla perfumes that are currently popular with the general masses.

It opens very fresh with aquatic notes along with seaweed. Surprisingly, the seaweed is a fantastic part of the smell and makes this very unique. Most summer aquatics are pretty linear as well, but the best part of this fragrance is that it actually does change from the top to the base. After a few hours the aquatic and seaweed notes tone themselves down and the neroli comes through making it softly sweet for the rest of the way. I love this part of the fragrance.
Longevity and sillage are moderate, which is standard for this genre. You really can only wear this in very warm weather though, but it's such a refreshing scent that it's perfect for hot summer days. Just based on the uniqueness alone this is worth a buy, it's worthy of being in anyone's collection.

Newest brother Aqva Atlantique is not worth mentioning. Its sea weed note with ambroxan note is nausea inducing.
Probably Aqva Marine was introduced to make the scent simpler and playful than Aqva pour homme. There are 3 simple facets in Aqva Marine.
1.Fresh grapefruit/mandarin orange citric opening
2.Neroli/Flower notes
3.Seaweed/Watery notes.
Base is seaweed with neroli notes.Proabably because of neroli and seaweed it may remind people of watermelon or cucumber smell.
Longevity is 6-7 hours with good 2-3 hour projection. It can be easily over applied without inducing headache.
It's a fresh scent which is strictly for hot and humid summer day.Dumb reach for hot climtate.
Ladies really love the fresh smell of Aqva Marine.Compliments are assured.
Best of the Aqva line.

JoshCondy
Fresh, aquatic, cooling fragrance that can be worn in the office during summer, but also out on certain occasions. Very nice but not ver versatile.
Longevity is decent, lasting about 4-5 hours on my skin, with the sillage being 3-4 feet away for an hour which slowly retracts into a close scent.
Overall very nice fragrance and a must have for summer. 8.5/10

MNadz
The opening and dry down of this fragrance are extremely fresh! Grapefruit citrus top note that stays with the DNA as the aquatic and fresh green seaweed notes come forward. Extremely fresh...the most fresh of all of them.
Performance is about arms length for an hour before quickly working its way inward to a skin scent. Longevity if not good...4 hours at the most on skin/clothes. I double spray each area to apply a good 8 to 10 sprays to get some more out of it.
Super easy reach for Summer time.

The citrus, neroli and rosemary complements the slightly salty seaweed throughout the life of the fragrance, balancing Aqva Marine perfectly somewhere between a pure citrus scent without any oceanic quality and a salty ambergris bomb like Aqva Atlantiqve or Light Blue Intense.
A fantastic beach and summer scent.

I had it for a few years and then I decided to try something different. Last year I bought it again and it immediately felt different. After some research now I can tell that it has been reformulated around year 2015.
Old bottles till 2016 aprox - have the fire sign on the box near the recycling sing and 1 other and the batch code is written on the middle side on the back of the bottle
New bottles after 2016 apox - don*t have the fire sign and the batch code is on the right
No dispute the old one are a lot better - sharper/ saltyer a double the performance.
10/10 parfume in my opinion.

This evokes such an authentic, natural Marine accord, it's incredible.
I go pretty heavy on it so I can enjoy it, otherwise it doesn't project enormously.
Though it's such a well crafted Marine I can hardly fault it.

Here are my thoughts for Bvlgari's Aqva line:
Aqva Pour Homme 10/10 - Dark aquatic. APH is going to give you a darker, heavier scent than anything else in the line, think of the deep-sea water coupled with underwater seaweed and some citrus mingled in. Magnificent, totally unique and natural. It's more of a gentleman scent, very mature.
Aqva Marine 8/10 - Salty, seaweed, aquatic marine notes are brought together with lovely grapefruit note, splendiferous lemony opening. Vibrant and crisp scent, the juice inside of the bottle it's clear turquoise like waters of the Caribbean, although it doesn't smell like that. Aqva Marine to me is a hybrid in between Aqua Pour Homme and Amara, it smells a lot like 'em.
Aqva Amara 8.5/10 - Oranges... bitter oranges all around. Honestly, while I do enjoy this scent, the drydown is floral and does lean towards femininity to me. The opening is freakin' awesome.
Aqva Atlantiqve 8.5/10 - More aquatic version of Dior Sauvage. I really, really enjoy this scent. It's an attention grabber for sure, but to my surprise I get something very dark, zingy and deep going on there too, it really does feel kind of oceanic overall.
Unlike most men's cologne Bvlgari is never sweet nor heavy. Never cloying and that's one of the reasons why I love so much AQVA line.

DSK
Projection is very decent and longevity is amazing. Most people say it is suitable exclusively for the summer, but I think it is a all year round signature worthy fragrance. I fell in love with it all over again during winter and have been using it for the whole season with great success. My girlfriend adores it as well.
For the price point I easily give this a perfect 10/10 and would be sad if this ever went out of my collection.
A masterpiece in its simplicity.

chimpster7
Aqua & Sport flankers are my Go-To's, so this one was right up my alley. I love going to the gym wearing this one, people around me pick up beachy hints and wonder where it's coming from and realize it was me once I'm gone along with that mild, pleasant, oceany scent cloud (so i've been told)... Salty sweat has never seen a better side kick!

[Salty Sweet Sea Wind On The Face]
Initial spray is a powerful burst of grapefruit and neroli! You get a sour citrus smell, which actually stays through the life of the fragrance.
After a while as it begins to dry down, it calms down and becomes a mixture of grapefruit, sea-weed and aquatic notes. The sea-weed note gives it a manly touch and the sweet grapefruit have also a feminine side to it but not in a bad way. Overall it's a salty-sweet manly aquatic aromatic fragrance which is perfect for Indian summer and even winter according to me (As Indian winter is not icy cold).
Aquatic note makes it wearable in the day and the sweet salty grapefruit makes it wearable at night.
When I close my eyes I can imagine being at a secluded beach with white sand and greenery at a distance. Salty sea wind is blowing on my face. I am sitting there having a nice time in the evening. Maybe some small boats are passing by.
I like this smell as it has a manly vibe to it. Very versatile for Indian weather as it consists of mostly hot humid weather. In hot weather it projects like crazy. It also has a sweet salty side which makes is appropriate for colder weather too.
It has a very good longevity. I get about 2 to 3 hours extreme projection outdoors and then it becomes a scent bubble around the body for another 4 hours or so. Which is incredible for an aquatic fresh fragrance. I get puffs of it even after 7 or 8 hours of application. Even when you cannot feel it on you, others can. As skin scent it stays even more.
Even after bathing I can kind of smell it on my skin. Crazy, right? Never thought an aquatic could do this.
Once I sprayed once at around 11 am on my polo t-shirt, I was outdoor in the sun I came back home. I put it in my wardrobe. The next day 11 in the morning I could smell it on my polo. Just crazy!
How I apply : I usually apply some kind of non-aromatic moisturizer (like vaseline) before applying fragrance. It helps it stay longer.
If I am indoors, I only do two sprays (one on my neck and another on the chest, or two behind the earlobes) and it does the job pretty well. No need to apply more as it can be overpowering. When I am outdoors I spray a bit more. Like one spray behind each earlobes, one in the back of my head on hair. One on the chest on the clothes and one spray on one wrist pulse and dab together (not rub).
Smell : 9/10
Projection : 8/10

Bvlgari removes the Strong Seaweed Vibe from the original AQVA Pour Homme making it more mass appealing. Sadly, this also removed much of the memorable characteristic of the original. I get more compliment wearing the original Pour Homme than I do with MARINE. I think it is because without the Seaweed smell, MARINE smell just like any other aquatic Nautica fragrance. I like MARINE but I don't ♥ it. Solid B-

Sillage and projection felt about average. APHM lasted about five hours before becoming soft; fine for work and made for hot weather. It has that mass appealing, clean, generic shower gel vibe but I like it. Many will say it smells good but I don't find it especially sexy. Unisex leaning masculine. The star here is the seaweed note. It gives a vegetal, green aspect to the perfume that makes it more interesting. A well done aquatic (with a cool bottle) for a nice price that doesn't give me a headache. Well done Bvlgari!

However, Aqva Pour Homme, and Amara are the best smelling of this series particularly if you enjoy aquatic colognes that have a more complex, and bold composition.

This is one of the rare frags that will and can withstand whatever temperature you throw at it as it is designed for extreme summers, that leaves you cooled and refreshed. Aside Living Stromboli, this is maybe the only frag that can really do that. Only for extreme heat, day wear. Won't work anywhere else.

This is the real sea note that doesn't fake aquatic cheapie by citrusy like other fragrance, real sea breeze salty yet sexiness. This is my signature scent and the first fragrance I bought 10 years ago, and yes it still my best so far. Imagine the turquoise lagoon in South East Asia Pacific with the sun shine over the sky!

It smells great but the performance on it is terrible. This fragrance became a barely noticeable light skin scent after 30 minutes. It was a disappointment! I would not repurchase or recommend!

Excellent all purpose summer freshy, that will make you feel good, smell great, and be appealing to those around you during the hot summer days/nights! Performance and longevity isn't as good as Invictus Aqua '16 though.

Just bought my 15th bottle today! Love this so much, it my signature scent for over 9 years! The real sea scent, every time I wear it I feel like I'm Poseidon himself ;) Citrus, Seaweed, Cedar, Neroli make me feel like Blue Hawaii cocktail on the beach! and I always wear this when I walking around sea side....
The salty smell with cedar is just like smelling of wood that sunk in the sea for a long long time , and make my skin smell like I just finished diving and droplets of sea water dry under the sun... it perfect and fun, what I can imagine this scent!
Scent: 10/10 (real sea scent)
Sillage: 6.5/10
Longevity: 7/10
Perfect for beach party, or anytime you want to feel like you are on the beach!
I will wear this perfume entire life for sure!

Anyway, make sure you get the bottle vintage bottle 2011 and earlier. Looks like:
BVLGARI (large text)
AQVA (large text)
Pour homme (small text)
Marine (small text)
Looks like the picture above.
Stronger, sillage is better and deeper, richer smell. Great aquatic summer scent, although I find myself wearing this on days that are 65 degrees and warmer. Love the ocean vibe it puts off like salty sea air on a semi cloudy day.

A perfect Summer signature scent for anyone of any age I can't see many people disliking this. It's a crowd pleaser in my opinion.
The performance of this based on Fragrantica stats is pretty spot on. its Longevity and projection/sillage are moderate, nothing more and nothing less. I would give performance an overall 7/10
on another note I have seen a lot of reviewers most likely die hard frag heads on here claiming that it smells ''like seawater'' or ''eggs'' (of all things, Eggs ??) I think that when people say it smells like seawater or the ocean don't take it literally as this does not smell exactly like ''the ocean'' or a beach. Hard to explain but it gives a vibe of the coolness of an ocean breeze.

I don't really get the seaweed vibe. What I do get is grapefruit, watery notes with an woodsy-herbal calming undertone.
You just can't go wrong with this one, pretty hard to over-spray I don't think it can get obnoxious; really inoffensive scent.
Im not saying it's perfect for the office, rather for hanging out with friends and family because of its playful nature. I wouldn't wear this on a date however because it's too tame, too calm.
Final rating : 9/10. As a guy in his 20's, this is signature-scent worthy. Maybe not as good for the older crowd, but ideal for young guys

Its fresh, aquatic(has that just stepped out of the shower smell)and clean. I highly recommend this scent for people who are fussy with perfume or dont like strong scents.

He smells SO AMAZING in this fragrance!
He and I tend to both be partial to aquatic, clean, salty, ozonic fragrances and this one is a gorgeous BEAST. It lasts for hours but even when he uses a few healthy sprays, this never has that "I dominate the atmosphere and steal all of your oxygen with my perfume" kind of presence that others are prone to.
You absolutely get what you pay for with Bvlgari and Aqva is no exception.

Opening is grapefruit mandarin in a blast that lasts minutes then you're into the marine aquatic scent.
It stays fresh marine and not just citrus (like other 'aquatics' that can end up smelling like lemon floor cleaner).
I can see how many could get the marine elements coming through on their skin more than on the original Aqva but try before you buy and if it works will be hard to beat for a fresh uplifting option that not everyone's wearing.

alosula87
It lasts quite long. Probably 5-6h is a good estimate.
It fills the whole room. I was walking in to a place and a girl smelled it from a distance. Do not exaggerate. Should be put on a bit less then others.

It really reminds me of my island on the summer. Madeira Island.
I really enjoy the salty scent resemble ocean sea.
First spray reminds me of Mango. after a while the salty starts to come.
Scent 9/10 really does well on what is supposed to do MARINE(ocean).

projection 7/10

Update: Its the seaweed. It does smell like seaweed. So perhaps a heavily infested with algae or seaweed ocean. I get that. But I do not like the smell of seaweed. If you do, you will enjoy this.

Beethoven's TeaParty
It's hard to describe other then it smells of the beach or the ocean and some sort of salt water smell. It's all so faint, you can't really tell. It's CRAZY light and has almost no performance on my skin even with Vegetable Glycerine moisturizer on!!! Within a few seconds of spraying 6 sprays on, I can barely tell if I even put it on. It lasts maybe 3-6 hours with the softest sillage, almost imperceptible. Others say they can barely smell me sometimes, other times not at all in the first 1-4 hours. It's a barely there skin scent after 1 hour, which is kind of nice for summer when you don't want to smell too strong in the hot summer temps. Leaves a nice clean salt water beach smell on your skin. I like it for after the beach and having drinks while waiting for dinner at the beach. It's very light, won't offend anyone, and keeps the just at the beach vibe going until it's time for bed. That's pretty much the only time I wear it.
Other then that, it's kind of useless and has really bad performance. I might try the Atlantique and Amara if I can get some samples. I like the idea of a light sea scent but it needs to have SOME performance! This is just ridiculously weak.

This screams summer and works only in summer heat, both day or night. Vacation, coffee, lunch during blazing summer days... it will feel cooling and refreshing, no one will mind as it is not offensive no matter if you apply a lot. Definitely not complex nor should it be because it wants to be only one thing... summer hot weather fragrance that lasts and smells pleasant yet light. Is it better than Versace Pour Homme? No. Is it far? No. Similar vibe, different frags that get the job done and ppl love both.

Update: I did buy this for my boyfriend and he too, quickly became obsessed. Awesome fresh yet sexy scent. Love it!

As a Filipino, most people here prefer lighter scents, as we in the Philippines have a predominantly tropical climate. But being a 3rd world country, most haven't updated their perfume game yet, at least on knowledge, information or relativity. You guessed it. Armani Acqua di Gio and Issey Miyake are used by nearly every guy who wants to smell good here. I got the Bvlgari Aqva Marine as I didn't have a light aquatic scent last year, and I stayed far away from Bvlgari Aqva & the 2 perfumes previously mentioned. Bought this to sort of "fit in", but I wear this only for cycling or other solo activities, as Aqva as become quite of a go-to scent for a LOT of guys here. Great inoffensive & very likeable scent, perfect for those instances when you just need to smell good for others. No hate, though. I seriously consider another bottle when my juice runs out.

When I first sprayed this frag I was surprised how much it smells of seaweed. I was happy to find out that that initial blast subsides and you are left with a salty, seaweed smell (after 30 minutes). The overall frag is not that offensive. It really does smell like you have been walking on the beach for a few hours.
On my skin it lasts around 5-6 hours.
Recommended for casual, relaxing, summer days with friends.

For the first time, I feel someone finally made a true seashore aquatic that wasn't heavily based on citrus.
Clean, fresh and slightly marine scented. Longevity is average (4-5 hours) on my skin. This is a great daytime summer scent for outdoors. What I like most about this is that although it's a typical clean and light aquatic, it does have a different spin on it to make it unique, good for finding your own signature scent so you don't smell like everyone else
Clean, crisp with a slightly marine (seaweed and barnacle) undertone. This is an aquatic that truly does feel like your laying close to the beach shoreline of a boat harbor while the seagulls sqaw about.

Ryanmmas26
When I first bought this scent many years ago when I first started getting into buying fragrances I remember spraying this and LOVING THIS. So then I sprayed it on my skin and it smelled horrible after about 5 minutes. So because of that I sold this to my step dad for cheap since he also liked wearing fragrances. HAHA, and then immediately after selling it I instantly regretted it because it smelled amazing on him and the way it smelled on him was exactly what I wanted in a summer scent as it was very crisp without being sharp,semi-sweet,natural smelling aquatic and ive tried a lot of scents over the years and this scent in my opinion is the closest representation of capturing the scent of Ocean breeze that I just love.
So after smelling this on my step dad I decided after all these years to purchase it again and Im so glad I did because maybe my skin chemistry has changed but this smells just as good on me as it did on him back then !
This not only has an amazing smell but it also has amazing performance ! This projects VERY well so be easy on the trigger as 2-3 sprays MAX if your indoors or 4-5 if you will be outdoors and this also lasts me 8-12 hours which is amazing for an aquatic.
Overall rating-- 8.5 out of 10 ! A great refreshing aquatic thats actually unique and has great performance

A very refreshing masculine fragrance.
It is saltier and brighter than the regular Aqva, and personally speaking, more interesting, appealing and of my taste. It starts with a discreet grapefruit note that turns into a salty watery type of smell. I love that it exudes an overall freshness and notes cant be recognised.
It is seaside virility, very energetic and uplifting and the best version of the Aqva concept.
Definitely a daytime scent, with really good longevity (7 hours) and moderate sillage.

Having said that, both these are absolute beasts in terms of longevity. I do not know if it's just on my skin or if it's because of the tropical climate but these stay on for at least 12 hours with solid projection for the first 6.
And, even though it's sometimes hard to spray with the big 100ml bottles, they look beautiful on the shelf.
7.5/10
P.S. - Not a safe scent. After using this for a long time, I understand the polarity in reviews. Try before you buy.

I personally don't smell any seaweed or fish for that matter. In fact I'm having a hard time smelling any specific notes at all. It's like you're spraying a "scenario" on your skin, if you know what I mean. That scenario is the one I described above in regards to Marine.
On my skin it lasts over 12 hours. I haven't used it that much, so I'm unsure in regards to sillage. I do smell it in my personal space though.
I think this is much better than the original Aqva. It has a freshness that the original is missing. I do feel they serve different purposes though, so if you like darker aquatics go for Aqva. If you like more laidback, breezy and fresh aquatics, go for Marine. Do try them both before making up your mind.
This is really good, and I'll be using it much more often.

It projects fairy well – when I was wearing this fragrance, people next to me could smell the scent.
I like the presentation - the bottle is unique and looks great.
But I personally do not like the seaweed note; it is not fishy, at least on my skin, but too sour to my preference.

This fragrance truly stands up to it's name AQVA MARINE!
That's all what it's about sea water and more sea breeze.
I don't find the scent offensive as most people do here.
It's actually quite pleasant for me since I do love aquatic scent to begin with. I know some people here can't stand aquatic, for these people, you need to STAY AWAY from this fragrance because even tho a little bit of grapefruit is added here and there, this scent is like 99% Aquatic + 1% (grapefruit, etc).
The smells is very oceanic and salty and my nose interprets these scents as a masculine and fresh scents. Although, I think girls/women can easily pull this one off too.
Aqva marine is very versatile, you can wear it to work, holiday, sunny day, beach, weekend getaway, etc.
Subjectively,
In comparison to it's original bvlgari Aqva. I would say Aqva marine has the stronger overall scent. More salty, more oceanic, and even more power.
The original Aqva's scent is more well blended between the orange and the seaweed hence it gives you like 60% aquatic 40% citric overall.
But this flanker the aqva marine is giving you like 90% aquatic smell (which many can't tolerate and stand).
Performance wise, I don't know if this is just my skin chemistry or what, but I get like crazy longevity and crazy projection. Definitely much much better than the original bvlgari aqva. On my skin, Aqva Marine projects and lasts like A*men does to you, all day long. 10+ hours and getting to scent cloud in the 8th hour of wearing. Even in a sunny day.
(4 sprays)
Longevity : 10/10 (12+ hours)
Sillage : 10/10 (8th hrs becoming a scent cloud)
Scent : 10/10 (I'm biassed towards aquatic)

AMajeedQT
The smell is a fresh aquatic note mixed with a green & mildly-sweet seaweed note. Soft & invigorating scent.
A proper flanker to the original Aqva: the same DNA, modernized.
Good performance, especially for a summer fragrance.

Lets start with adjectives: bright, aromatic, sweet, sour, lively, eye popping. Those are the words which I would use to describe this scent. Why?
Initial spray is a burst of grapefuit and neroli! You get a sour citrus smell, which actually stays through the life of the fragrance. It does calm down, but not the sweetness, it stays throughout the scent and I believe that is due to the seaweed and cedar in the heart and in the base. So initial spray (and be careful this thing gets up and at you, it isn't something you should over-spray 5 would do you fine, 4 if you are going to be in really close quarters tops) gives you bright sour and sweet citrus.
As the scent beings to dry down a bit the watery notes, sea weed and rosemary (some richness and depth over many aquatics) begin to show up to the party but the sweetness of the grapefruit and the sourness of the neroli are still present. Around hour 6 I begins to get woodsy with the citrus still hanging on proving some sweetness. The water notes are there from the 1st hour on. It isn't fishy but more Lake like. I grew up on Lake Michigan and the smell of Silver Beach is what this reminds me of. So on a 10 scale:
Projection:10 it jumps off the skin and is very aromatic
Sillage: 9
Scent: 6-7, many aquatics share the same notes won't wow you
Versatility: 9, I think this can be worn on any occasion in warmer weather (I don't see wearing aquatics in the winter)
Value: 10, well worth the price if you don't pay retail.
Overall I give this a 8.5-9.0 but maybe a 9.5 if put up against aquatics. I live in Texas so it is warm 8-9 months out of the year so this fits perfectly with me. So far it is my favorite aquatic.
By the way, I don't know where the longevity problem is with this. I sprayed it on at 7:00 danced (sweating pretty good) until around 10:30 came home my wife smelled it as soon as I walked in the room (about 5 feet from the bed), took a shower and it was still on my neck. Sorry but I don't get the longevity problem with this one.

This is one fragrance that I really don't get. I can't imagine why someone would want to smell salty. Yes, it is as what its name advertise, aquatic marine. However I prefer fresh citrusy aquatic, not the salty marine seaweed aquatic. If I were to put it in laymans term, when I smell this, I picture washing detergent mixed with sea water with sea weed swirling in the mixture. Go figure. It does have a synthetic vibe.
Projection and longevity is moderate. I gave this a chance but I just don't get it.
