Bvlgari Man Extreme by Bvlgari is a Woody Aromatic fragrance for men. Bvlgari Man Extreme was launched in 2013. The nose behind this fragrance is Alberto Morillas. Top notes are Cactus Juice, Calabrian bergamot and Pink Grapefruit; middle notes are Guatemalan Cardamom, Freesia and Amber; base notes are Haitian Vetiver, Woodsy Notes and Benzoin.

The collection of Bvlgari Man was initiated with the fragrance Bvlgari Man launched in 2010. After the original perfume, limited edition Bvlgari Man The Silver Limited Edition with silver stripes on transparent glass was introduced – it depicts charisma of a modern man who chooses this sensual fragrant composition. The new fragrance is presented in 2013 as the extreme version aimed at men who desire new sensual experience.

BVLGARI MAN EXTREME is announced as very elegant, deep, attractive and intense. It excites with its composition starting from the first note and luminous accords of pink grapefruit and Calabrian bergamot. Citrusy notes are combined with cactus zest, which contributes to charismatic opening of the composition and highlights on the floral-spicy heart. After citruses and cactus zest, white freesia blooms surrounded with cardamom from Guatemala and gently warmed with amber. Elegance in base notes is accentuated with Haiti vetiver, Laoese benzoin and Balsa wood.

The new composition is signed by perfumer Alberto Morillas, who created the successors as well - Bvlgari Man and Bvlgari Man The Silver Limited Edition. The fragrance arrives in silver flacon and silver-black outer packaging. It is available as 60 and 100ml eau de toilette.

Extremely unique but leans on the mature side (30+)
Versatile but would work best in an office/dressed up environment
Performance isn't the best but I guess Alberto never intended it to be....

One of the countless flankers in the Bvlgari Man line, Extreme has one of the nicest opening of the series in my view, with a tart yet sweet grapefruit/bergamot accord - I really like how it smells clean and invigorating. The sweetness may be due to the cactus: I'm honestly not familiar with how a cactus smells but I expect it to be sweet and sugary with some green accents. I envy all those who could identify the note :D

After the citrusy blast of the opening, the scent transitions to a soapy, slightly sweet scent, where I pick mostly cardamom and probably still some of the cactus (whatever it smells like). I don't get any of the peppery notes of the freesia, which would have been a welcome change here, though to me the middle notes have some vague white flower vibe.

The real problem I have with Bvlgari Man Extreme is in the drydown. After the clean, soapy middle notes fade I get a super-cloying piercing cheap hairspray-like drydown that unfortunately lasts forever to my nose and projects quite heavily - after 8 hours I had to wash it off my skin, but I'm sure I would have been able to smell it after a whole night. I don't know what is causing that smell as I don't get any resins or woods (might be skin chemistry, or just how amber+benzoin work in both perfumes...), but that sweetish, cloying mess unfortunately reminds me a lot of the original Bvlgari Man drydown, which I also disliked.

It's a pity because I really wanted to like this one based on the opening. My sample is from 2013, batch code 00D17K1.

Fragaddict123

Nothing is extreme here
Almost the Same as the original
A little more citrus
It lasts almost like the original
In my opinion not a necessary purchase if you have the original

I thought that this was going to be my new signature scent. This stuff smells amazing! I could pull this off all year round day or night. The problem is its longevity or lack thereof. On first blast, you pick up on the kick before it settles down into the other notes. This is my go-to if I'm heading out in town real fast to run a couple of errands & won't be out too long otherwise I'd be refreshing throughout the day quite often.

Kfrags

This scent is very similar to Burberry Weekend for Men, at least 70% of shared DNA.
Decent fresh citrus. Good for high heat, and in casual/office settings more so than formal/sexy situations. Cactus note with the citrus creates a nice soapy vibe at the top. The Vetiver and cardamom blend nicely to offer a peppery soapy dry down. Overall a decently good fragrance. 7/10.

I love this scent! The oriental mysterious fresh woody masculine fragrance always pulls me some compliments! I like smelling it on myself as well as getting compliments for it!

Levente.HU

The best perfume I have ever used and am using! The scent of freshly cut cactus with the scent of citrus is simply amazing. This makes only Man Extreme All Black editions better! From this the All Black Editions is better! <3

This fragrance is kinda funny, It's weird how the longevity works... First you spray it and its a monster green citrusy blast but only for 10 minutes, then it disappears almost completely I don't know if its extreme olfactory fatigue or something but it disappears and after it dries down it returns with the cactus note and then its woody and lightly spiced, these notes are weak but they will last and project for quite a while for a fresh fragrance, so if you wear it do like 3-4 sprays but try to stay away from people for the next 20 minutes, you will choke them its strong for a freshie. I have a theory that spraying it on a black shirt would help the non volatile (like all of them for the drydown) notes to show off a little bit more.

ShotsK

This is a combo of Acqua di Gio and Axe Snake Peel body wash. Lasts a long time. Has good sillage. Causes nasal fatigue in beginners. Wear at your own risk. Never wear roller skating unless you skate fast.
The sprayer works well. Press slowly to get a stream, press quickly to get a mist.

The bottle works as a nice club if you need to defend yourself while applying. Bruce Lee would approve

Bvlgari Man Extreme is a citrus and aromatic fragrance.

Its aroma is very pleasant and relaxing, it has citric notes that are enriched with cactus juice and its base contains woody and slightly spicy notes. It is easy to appreciate this fragrance, because the aroma is delicious, however it also has its cons such as a low sillage, and a longevity of 6 to 7 hours, although discreet fragrances are sometimes necessary as well. Another advantage is that its price can already be found in discounts and it is not expensive.
I think if all you are expecting is a pleasant scent, it may be a blind purchase.

NandosNOW

Its like a better, modern version of Tommy Hilfiger. Juicy citrus just doesnt last long.

Skipcon

Really nice.

Pleasent summer fragrance with decent sillage and longevity.

Really nice watery summer scent, aquatic, slightly zesty.

Nice refreshing cactus note in the background.

tommylaurendet

The fragrance is fresh and clean but nothing special. What bugs me is the atomiser. It literally shoots a jet stream of liquid across the room. By far the worst i've seen on a fragrance

TheMostSavage

This is somewhat challenging to like because 1. it's a weak scent and 2. it's kind of stuffy, in that it's a dry fabric softener linen type of scent.

Overall I'd say test this first. But I'd still encourage a man over 30 to really try this one. I've fallen for it somewhat. It's a nice pleasant citrusy freshy that is good for casual use and absolutely perfect for the office.

Because of the very poor performance I wouldn't recommend getting a full bottle. Try it first. It's a modern clean scent that is a great office scent with a nice upscale clean smell to it. It's also a touch synthetic which a lot of people won't like.

Shame that it's so weak. People give Varvatos a hard time for being weak performers, but so far Bvlgari is pretty darn poor performers to me. Man in black, the aqua series, and this one are the ones I've smelled and they're all fairly weak. I get 2 hours tops with this and really it's only about an hour before it's a weak skin scent.

Old School Tie

Actually, the Bvlgari sprayers are genius - a slow, less forceful actuation and you get a jet of perfume to direct onto very small areas but with a good amount of perfume. A faster and more forceful actuation and you get a normal atomized mist. One problem is that you need big hands and reasonable grip strength to manage the big, heavy and unwieldy 100ml bottles. Learn how to use the sprayer and you will come to appreciate its cleverness...

Fantastic! I changed my vote from "like" to "love" after wearing it more. I agree with the comments below that this has a tangy citrus scent mixed with the cactus, which gives it a unique vibe that's different from others in the same category. Don't expect beastly performance for a summer fragrance, however, this one actually has pretty good performance for a citrus freshie. Some reviewers below mentioned similarities with Office For Men and Aventus. I agree that there is indeed a slight similarity with Office (less so with Aventus), but it doesn't have the notes which give it that "classy" feel (for lack of a better term). In summary, Bvlgari Man is a unique citrus freshie with decent performance.

Does anyone else dislike the Bvlgari Man sprayers? They shoot out like a water pistol.

rahildogra1

The opening is really sharp and tangy . Beautiful for summers ! The Tangy vibe comes from the cactus most probably but what I get is soft and nice vetiver from this . Reminds me of Terre de Hermes but softer . The temperature where I am currently is around 40 c and this is really working out to be good . I want to try Bvlgari man or Bvlgari man cologne next . Do try this folks ..it’s something great 👍

starscream881

To my nose there is a note present in the scent that is more appropriate for males. The scent is good. Good for the hot weather. I purchased the fragrance because of the cactus note. I found it unique and I thought I could probably wing it even if I am a woman. But after several wearings, I couldn't stand it because of a certain note that is sometimes present in male fragrances. I am not really sure what that note is but I also smelled it on Aventus. That note I think is what makes the fragrance masculine or more suitable for men.

mikestro

first of all great citrusy spring and summer scent. The top is tangy grapefruit dominant with a unique twist probably the cactus. the mid and dry down is semi sweet. no problem with longevity and sillage. Creates nice scent bubble. Put about five sprays on pulse points and people will notice you. Lasts 7 plus hours with probably 2 or 3 hrs of projection on my skin. I wish it had a tad more depth or sweetness to make it year round worthy.

mixter99

How can you mess up performance so bad? Performance is a tragedy, especially because this is a damn good smell. To me this smells really sour and it has a nice kick to it, which separates it from other fresh citrusy fragrances in the same category. The cactus note gives it a masculine rough edge, to me it almost smells like marijuana, which is strange and addictive.

For me 5.5/10, honestly not worth buying as it goes away in 2-3 hours

hfiebert

Really enjoy this as a Spring scent. Nice Citrus, interesting scent from the Cactus. I don't think it is a ground breaking fragrance but it is one I really enjoy wearing and it screams Spring to me.

Savatage79

Office for men before office for men , this is one hell of a fragrance and glad I finally got my hands on it. Another great bottle done by Alberto and I couldn't believe how much like Office this is as I recently bought office on the cheap. But I find the Blvgari to simply be better, more rounded out and having a nice dose of citrus, spice and woodsy. I absolutely love this and its pricd is gold compared to Office.

This is definitely one of my tops for citrus scents , can't get enough

DGpourHommeMN

I have own many citrusy fragrances and this one is in my top 5 list. Very well balanced and mass pleasing.

dreamersdream

It reminds me of Terre d'Hermes eau tres fraiche which I love very much. They are different but sparkling fresh and pleasant in common, and unfortunately neither performs well on my skin. Nothing extreme about the scent, just a simple light skin scent won't offend anyone in any situations all year around.

pkman

the opening is extremely nice! Maybe that would justify the extreme on the name of the fragrance because other than that, the performance is definitely not extreme. It's not expensive though so i wouldn't discourage people from buying this.

AEL

This is a pretty good Spring/Summer fragrance.
It's not expensive and you can detect the quality of the juice
The notes are already well covered by other members so I would like to make some suggestions for those who complain about its longevity and silage.
This fragrance demands at least 10 - 15 sprays to last a full day.
I usually give the shirt I am going to wear at least 6 sprays the night before.
Just before leaving home, two applications to the neck, two applications to the wrist and two more squirts to the armpit will see me through the day.
Just be generous when applying this scent!

cell

Smells nice but not groundbreaking. The cactus juice stands out. Very fresh and citrusy.

Like others have said, longevity and sillage are abysmal. Will literally be a skin scent around an hour.

Not worth the full price.

FreshZekai

Amazing smell by itself but sadly poor on performance.

Longevity is almost none existent, same goes for projection, 30-60mins and then it's gone.

The word "extreme" is pretty misleading..

Anyone knows a fragrance that smells close to this? One with a better performance?

fatihalbayrak

It smells like light version of ADG Profumo but not like ADG OG interresting, it smells great, best freshie of Bvlgari imo.

Phoenikz

BME is one of my all-time favourite freshies. It's also one of the most masculine; a masculine done in the accessible, modern way. Dry citrus and what I assume is the cactus dominate the opening, whilst cardamon and some smooth vetiver hold it all together through the dry-down. In high Summer heat, I get a good 5-6 hours, and regular positive comments from both women and men. It performs beautifully in this really warm weather, and like TdH, Aventus & AdGP, sits comfortably within that 'alpha male' remit, whilst remaining versatile enough to be an any occasion grab.
In cool weather, this doesn't project as well, retreating back to skin scent territory, whilst the longevity remains in the 5-6 hour region.
So save this one for those hot days and evenings; you will enjoy its effortless masculine freshness in the air, as will those close by.

rohitkumar.j

Cant remember the notes but the perfume wasn't long lasting and sillage was really average

Jay67

I’ve just bagged a 60ml for an absolute steal and very pleased I am too! The cactus note imparts a very dry white pepper nuance, not entirely dissimilar to Lalique White but livelier and certainly more multi-faceted. When it combines with the natural citruses, it creates a very interesting combination that isn’t often seen in these lighter fresh fragrances. Once the heart notes come into play, the freesia arrives fleetingly for a lovely floral burst but is quickly overtaken by the lovely warm cardamom held up by a very light amber, just to give it enough weight to carry it through to the wood notes on the dry down. I personally don’t get a great deal of the Vetiver but that maybe just because the cardamom note camouflages it a touch but what little I do detect certainly is of the Tom Ford Grey Vetiver EDP style, rather than a greener or dirtier vetiver such as Encre Noire.

Sadly, as has been said before, the longevity and sillage are disappointingly weak, which is incredibly disappointing given the intriguing composition; I’d expect it from the top citrus notes but as they’re so natural and bright, you really do find yourself crying out for more, sooner than you’d think! I was maybe just expecting the mid/heart notes to carry it along a little bit further down the road but it doesn’t go much beyond 4 hours for me.

A definite contender to add to your spring/summer rotation, especially if it can be had for a decent price but as the Extreme addition to this line is somewhat a misnomer, you really may find yourself frustrated by the performance issues, so be aware before you buy. That all being said, it’s not going to offend anyone; it’s smart, classy and interestingly elegant and is going to be a pretty universal purchase for any occasion or age group, although I doubt it’ll float the boat of the young guns too much.

MacGuffin

The opening citrus notes has the balance of fresh and spicy, while the greenish flavor of cactus is subdued-- meaning, not overly bitter. Bonus point, the citrus notes here is natural smelling, very far from synthetic citrus notes of most citrusy scents like Burberry Summer for example. Another bonus point, get ready for that surprising great drydown smell. It's a blast! I love this concoction by Morillas. It has more mature vibe than terre d hermes and most people will appreciate this for what it is.

I now have a new favorite scent this summer season.

I want so bad to love this. The cactus note is so intriguing. But the silage is just not there. Usually I dont care, but this projects like a headlight with a broken bulb.

The scent though, make it stronger and this will be the talk of the town. Fresh and clean. So good you almost want to drink it!

But that silage.

Fabrizio97

The first fragrance that I ever smelled: 7 years ago my mom sprayed a sample on my clothes without telling me, and during class I started getting those random sniffs of a really good smell that would come and go. When I finally pin-pointed the source I asked my mom about it and she showed me the empty sample, which I kept until now. I ordered a decant a few days ago and my god it was like I was brought back to that day!!

Opens with a spicy cactus and citrus note, and then it settles on a less spicy lovely smell! Love it!

Ken H.

The initial spray is very spicy and citrus and when it dries down an hour later is when this really smells fantastic. The opening is good but the dry down is better. It's much sweeter in the later stages. This is an amped up version of the original Bvlgari Man which was softer and smoother. I give this a 9.0/10

njcooper5

It smells fantastic.. love the cactus note in this. I'd consider this in my top few fragrances that I own, but the longevity on skin is just terrible for me. It lasts on clothes, so if I want this to last longer than 1 hour, I have to spray a bit on my shirt as well... to me, that is disappointing. In summary.. great scent, poor performance. I would expect better performance from Bvlgari.

knowdeparfum

I recently managed to get my hands on Bvlgari Man Extreme from a friend. Since the fragrance smelled absolutely divine, I decided to give it a try on my skin as well.

Bvlgari Man Extreme is an aromatic and citrusy cologne. Exceptionally masculine, I don’t think I will be able to wear this fragrance. The opening is light and fresh with sweet and juicy grapefruit and slightly sour bergamot. Once the initial burst of citruses settles down, the fragrance turns floral with a watery green cactus note which adds another layer of freshness to the fragrance. The bright citrusy notes don’t disappear completely but take a backseat. After a couple of hours, the sweet amber and woody notes come through making the base warm and sensual.

The fragrance stays on my skin for 6 hours or so with a great projection. Bvlgari Man Extreme is a sophisticated cologne for men. It is suited for spring and summer and is great for formal events or date nights in my opinion. I can see my husband wearing it to work when he has important meetings or presentations and am planning to get this for him.

Infinitys_Minute

I thought I'd have trouble discerning the cactus note, being unfamiliar with that smell... but it's very clear.

In the opening and heart I get a white floral note, cactus, grapefruit and bergamot (in order of strength). It is wet and slightly sweet (from the amber?), but with a paradoxical dryness.

As it dries down the white floral note moves way into the back, giving support to the slightly sweet cactus, grapefruit and bergamot. It's lost the wet aspect by now and is just dry and sweet. It's a tasteful, light, smooth honeyed sweetness that becomes a little less bright and slightly vanillic as things progress. I assume this is the benzoin finishing what the amber started.

It's airy and seems like it could be weak, but I can get a nice light constant smell coming from 2 feet away in the drydown, after applying ~0.1mL. To me this means that it's not weak in the slightest.

Extremely pleasant and understated.

jswift286

Intense citrus, woods, vetiver. Can linger on your clothes for days. A fresh scent that can project even in Winter

AstralMatrix

Ahhh, like a gentle kiss of a flower. Bvlgari Man Extreme reminded me of my childhood. This is one of the strangest, most unique-smelling fragrances I've ever sniffed. It smells so non-chemical and benign, I smile. Very plant-like and natural. Something in it smells floral, a bit like a baby splash you find in Puerto Rican farmacies.

The notes list doesn't tell you the whole story. It's smooth and well-blended, almost smelling linear. But it's not. It's nuanced. When it starts to die down to a skin scent, it gathers strength and new notes come out, but remaining transparent and soft. The drydown is so nice and elegant, and I usually dislike most drydowns.

Do not expect a strong, in-your-face fragrance. It's tame, and light-footed, safe for close quarters. This one is for when you want to lay low while still smelling impressive.

Another knock-out from Morillas. God bless you.

pierreelkhoury

I have owned this fragrance for 3 months now and i’m not surprised that some people say that it’s weak because after the citrusy top notes it will disappear for 10 minutes and it will hit back with a more powerful woody dry down, and this type of tricks belongs to a master perfumer.

mewakwon

the underrated due to the poor bigger brother OG
many people was masked by the generic citrus top note

but the dry down is very good sweet woody note
the cardamom vetiver and woody note is blended in a good good way

however it lost the projection after the top note
it would be better if it more project of middle and dry down note

***English ****
Perfume with citrus aroma, masculine, elegant, fine, refined, quality and class are perceived.

I do not see it as a perfume to go out to the super market or to the supply of the corner; I see it as a perfume to go to a breakfast / lunch at a restaurant, office work, work meetings, visit to a foreign house.
It could be used on a first date since it is not scandalous. (as long as you want to give the impression of wanting something "serious and formal")

I have read some people complain about its duration or projection, but it lasts me about 10 hours easily, as for the projection, I feel that it projects what it has to project since it is a subtle and elegant perfume, besides the citrus perfumes can not be scandalous

For people +25 or +30, professionals or people with some medium or medium-high status, people who know what they want, serious people. This perfume will not leave you bad if you use it before people you have just met, it will give you the impression that you are a financially stable, enterprising person, leader, etc.

It is a fragrance that does not have the attention it should have, but better that way, since not being so popular, it is more special.

The price does not exceed $ 40, it is worth every penny.

Nice smelling one, but after 15 mints pfffff zero

clintjr82

An intoxicant. Now this is way better than all the man in black editons I dont get he mib hype. This is more wearable in different situations. My lady goes crazy over this stuff. Very Manly but modern. A suit and tie , causal, or construction worker can wear this. Awesome

Kinski

this one surprised me...very pleasantly!

impulse buy.

scent is bvlgari fresh with a nice cactus/citrus punch....but in a different somehow "cleaner" slightly fruitier way than the bvlgari aqua line...the cactus I guess...but it's got a sophisticated manliness to it too in the drydown...

why did it surprise me? with its performance...after a couple of hours I couldn't smell it myself unless I sniffed my hand...but when I asked 2 friends I was sitting with in a bar hours after spraying some on my neck they said they could smell it from a meter away...and they both loved it...I only sprayed one on each side of my neck 3 to 4 hours earlier...

To me it's certainly not a weak performer and projection is actually great!

So I am going to stick with two sprays :-)

I think this is quite a unique yet crowd pleasing freshie with some balls for people who want to smell great but different! Coming back to this one a lot right now!

Worth trying for sure!

TrephineArtist

To my nose this is a nice refreshing citrus scent and to me it has that Bvlgari (freshie) DNA that I have previously smelled in the Aqva line. It doesn't smell cheap but I did find it fairly restrained/subtle, lasts longer on clothing for me, not too bad longevity actually. Not yet sure if it's full bottle worthy yet for me.

OhBrien

I'll cut to the chase. The opening smells great, but it turns into a skin scent after about 30 mins, and then disappears after 1-2hrs.

I tested this on other people and have the same result.

pheromonic

This is a sex pheromone (due to cactus smell) worn by a well-built (due to citrus) man in a suit (due to woods and spices).

A must have.

clintjr82

Now this is one phenomenal scent. I bought this with no hesitation.

This is a citrus woody spicy fresh scent.

Masculine and alluring no doubt, blended well so I cant point the notes.

Its a Crisp Masculine scent, no feminine vibe at all.

I can see a rugged or well dress man pulling this off.

This should be in top mens' fragrances of all time, this is far superior to the original.

This is just more pungent or rugged than the original and longer lasting.

AJ525

Love this fragrance. It's just fresh, pleasant and has a nice kick to it. It's inoffensive and you can wear it daily in the office!

Non-cloying

Bvlgari Man Extreme is an interesting one. After the very pleasant burst of citrus for the first 30 minutes, the scent quite frankly disappears. I found this to be the case after many testings. However, over an hour or so in, the fragrance comes back with a vengeance, with the cactus juice supported by vetiver and woody notes taking center stage. This goes on for hours, projecting at arms length for a couple of hours before staying closer to home for the 8-10 hours of duration. I've gone swimming with this one on, and after leaving the pool and showering, BME is still projecting with admirable force.

I like it, quite a bit. The cactus gives it an exotic and unique feel perfect for sweating out in the heat or in the gym. This one could also be very pleasant to wear as temperatures drop, but once a coat or jacket comes into play, I would shelve this one until temps move up again. BME gets a thumbs up. It's not my favorite hot weather fragrance--try Dior Homme Cologne, Chanel Allure Homme Edition Blanche, or one of the various aquatics out there--but I reach for it a couple of times a weeks.

Keeping it Sweet & Simple ...

Scent 9/10
Sillage 3/10
Longevity (in peak summers) 3/10

Love the fragrance but very poor longevity bought it in exchange of Armani Diamonds (already had one )else would not have bought this .

Will use it in Office !

seldomseen

BME is a unique and truly an amazing cologne, that screams sophistication and accomplishment. BME is an excellent cologne for most any occasion (office, casual, formal) but is really only suited for hot/humid temperatures to get maximum sillage/projection performance out the cologne.

BME is subtle enough to easily do 10-12 sprays without having to worry about choking out a room of innocent bystanders, and will yield about 6 decent hours of performance -- albeit modest.

Despite, BME's moderate intensity. I catch beautiful wafts of the cactus and green notes multiple times every hour of wear. Definitely get your nose on BME if you haven't smelt it yet. It's an excellent cologne to add to ones summer rotation!

Overall: 8.75/10

My, oh my! Classy and stylish. Sophisticated and manly sexy. Fresh and mature. I always love the light and elegant vibe of Bvlgari house in general, when it comes to men and women’s fragrances. Once again, this Man Extreme really pleases my nose.

Very suitable for summer from day going to night. So charming and absolutely not an unisex one. Sillage and longevity are wonderful. We have nothing to complain about (lasted over 7 hours).

mrtinc

Extreamly poor performance. Though the fragrance is nice, I may not buy this again for such poor performance. Please try before you buy.It never lasts on me more than 1 hr. siliage maximum 30mins. I have to apply 15sprays for 1hr performance. very bad very disappointing. Boo.

AK_Oud

Very deep and rich scent on my skin but longevity is a little issue on me. Maybe it's just my skin. For the scent, you won't regret blind buy, but performance-wise, one should try it first. Good luck!

Vaporized

Well... having tried the Bvlgari extreme frag, i didn't hesitate buying this one, especially after the first eloquent and magnifique spray!
My experience with Bvlgari has been very amiable. All the scents i have tried have been sturdy performers in terms of sillage and longevity. The Man in black series is for me a bit redundant, but all perfumery houses resort to the same marketing fad.
Anyways talking about Man Extreme, it is a wonderful scent, one of the best freshies i have tried. The longevity for me is fine, it goes upto six hours. My rankling is with the projection, it becomes a skin scent within an hour, but the scent is so good that i ended up buying it. Sort of similar to Dunhill Icon IMO, but better lasting!

AndiJ10

This perfume is somehow unique to its smell and is a lovely one. It opens up with a bright citrusy-lemony splash and in about a few minutes it mellows and then the highlight note, the cactus juicy vibe appears and is prominent and dominates during the whole longevity of it. At the drydown gets a bit woody with a light taste of vetiver. Longevity is a bit above average to me while sillage is a bit weak!

Bvlgari Man extreme is a summer fragrance with a twist. The natural citrusy opening is short lived with 5 minutes of life.In the mid notes and in the base the cactus juice smell dominates the rest of the fragrance. The base is woody with vetiver notes but cactus remains dominant.Imagine you peel the cactus stump and pour the juice on your hand and smell it.Mix it with citruses and some woods. That's what you get.Its a nice smell in the summer heat.Lasts a long time with good sillage as always expected from Bvlgari house.
Compliment factor I am not sure.It is a weird smell.Cactus smell is not that pleasing and that is why I like the scent. Not love it.It is good but not the greatest Bvlgari creation.
Use it as deodorant. Its good but missing the wow factor.Perfume connoisseurs may not like it that much but it does the work. Its masculine and fresh. Like.

ScottyVizz

I grabbed this at my local discounter store for 17 dollars. Very impressive scent. The initial blast out of the sprayer is already pleasant; that's a hard thing to accomplish! Generally scents tend to have the abrasive alcoholic overtones but with Man Extreme, I was pleasantly surprised with the initial smell of natural grapefruit zest.

Great composition that I am looking forward to experiencing in warmer climate. Thumbs up.

Mr. nose it all

This does to perfection what it was meant to do. I see everything from its offset balance transforming into something else by simply tipping the scale from extreme to man all in itself over time as this fragrance dominates and owns both and shines it's beautiful rare top notes of cactus zest that continues to pop out all the way throughout Its longevity which is above average at an ideal silliage never cloying. year around, very versatile, signature worthy. smells a hint of both terre d Hermes without the powder and bvlgari extreme minus the sour
UNIQUELY TIMELESS...
This owns MAN, be carful not to let it own you!
Nothing is wrong, therefore 7.5/10

Simply one of the most uplifting fresh Summer scents I have encountered. I would even say my favourite creation by Alberto Morillas. This has everything I could wish for in a Summer scent, its classy, versatile and masculine and I absolutely adore the cactus and freesia notes which gives it a unique vibe.

The only negative comment I have is I wish this lasted longer, I compensate for the poor longevity by giving it 8 sprays which helps as the scent is smooth and fresh enough to not be overbearing.

If longevity isn't a high priority and you want a beautiful Summer scent, seriously check this out....

foreignshores

Another brilliant offering from Alberto Morillas. How I passed over this fragrance for the last several years I honestly don't know. It's magnificent. Sparkling woody citrus that is classy but understated. I'm not sure how the 'extreme' in its name is applicable, but regardless this is pretty awesome stuff. The overall vibe falls somewhere between Dior Homme Cologne 2013 and Acqua di Gio Essenza. It's reminiscent of both, but the spicy cardamom and the cactus (?) add another, slightly more formal dimension. These are just my first impressions. Will need to give this a full day's wear, but I have a feeling my appreciation will only increase.

Hastey

I’m disappointed in this one, but more from the stand point of longevity and projection. Poor on both fronts on me. The scent is nice, citrus doesn’t last then turns into peppery cactus scent. 1 hour later and all gone.

dragonfruit2015

Like so many of Morillas' creations, this is a beautiful and very pleasant fragrance. The cactus juice gives it a very exotic vibe to start off, which coupled with the bergamot makes this a bright citrusy fragrance. Sadly, this fragrance shares another attribute of Morilla creations for Bvlgari-it has terrible longevity. Fortunately it is not one of those fragrances that will overwhelm if you spray liberally. Unlike Aqva Amara, this thing won't choke anyone out. I've gotten great results by spraying on clothes, where it can last upwards of 12 hours. the need to spray a lot means you'll probably go through this thing fairly quickly. Granted, my skin is not very forgiving of most fragrances and few last on me, but Bvlgari is always among the worst, so spraying it on my shirt always helps. I tend to go through Bvlgari frangrances very quickly, and this is one that I probably won't be re-buying simply because there just so many other comparable fragrances out there. No regrets though. I definitely prefer this over the original which never really impressed me much. I'd say it's worthy of a blind buy, especially given the reasonable prices on so many discount sites. Enjoy and happy spraying!

FreshTones

This is yet another Bvlgari frag that I have used for years and will continue to keep in the arsenal. To me, it's nothing amazingly groundbreaking. However, it is a good smelling frag with good performance that you can find relatively cheap while smelling very classy.

The opening is as others have described, very citrusy. However, the opening is almost like a bar of citrus soap. It has this sharp Irish Spring kind of smell that lingers around in the opening and even drydown. It's pleasant and natural smelling. I'm not sure what notes could possibly combine to do that. Possibly the vetiver, cardamom and cactus juice? However it manages this, it's very nice for you soap heads that want a different soapy smell (as opposed to your Montblancs or Pradas). The drydown is woody, citrusy, a little Earthy... Overall, it's a great scent.

This one is extremely versatile. It's light enough for a summer day or an office setting and classy enough for some formalities. It's a little bright for a funeral (morbid...) but the ladies do enjoy it so a date would be ideal. Social gatherings work too. It's just a pleasant scent that I would definitely deem inoffensive. It's youthful yet it has notes that will work for every age group. I get about 8 hours out of this frag with the first 2 of moderate to heavy sillage. It's unlike others though... I get another hour or two of "moderate" sillage before it becomes a skin scent. It's good! I've noticed this house tries to please all crowds and manages to do so most of the time. I dare say it's my favorite.

swaap

So i sampled this gem few weeks ago, and i definately disliked it at first sniff. For me it opens like if you'd try to peel citrus fruits and you unfortunately squeze it into your eyes. I sprayed it on paper so i just dropped it into the trash. I came saw the positive comments so i gave it a second chance.

Second chance. Spray it on skin (wrist). First toughts: eww. that lemon citrus mandarin opening. Classic summer frag. But 5 mins. Not more only 5. I felt myself like i want to smell my wrist again and again and again. It loses the citruss-ness fast. And it starts to become a manly pleasuring young smell. And you EXACTLY FEEL THAT THERE WILL BE MORE.
And it happens. 30 mins later the citrus calms down. The middle notes come out and they rule the world. AMAZING. Elegant. Still fresh. Young. Luxury. Unique. Manly. Sexy. Comforting.

After 2 hours the sillage becomes a skin scent. But i think we can deal with it. Because the longevity is reaaalyy strong. About 8-10 hours normally. And if your girl leans close to you. She will never want to leave.

Guys this frag destroys my mind. I think BVLGARI not missed on this one. It's BVLGARI MAN Extreme. Must have.

kastris_davidbeckham

The smell is amazing also the longevity is OK. A great fragrance for its price, totally worth it

ausamamira

The smell is wonderful no doubt ... but unfortunately it is so soft .... i wish if it was a bit stronger in terms of sillage....

BKXIII

Bought Bvlgari Man Extreme blind and it immediately entered my top 3 colognes that I own. It's just something about the robust, manly, spicy citrus that bears a remarkably similar vibe to ADG Profumo. Frankly, I'm surprised more people don't catch ADG Profumo in Man Extreme. Is it just me? Regardless, this is a winner.

stateff

I am getting to the conclusion that Bvlgari might be my favorite fragrance house. Man in Black - awesome, Aqva Amara - awesome, the original Bvlgari Man - awesome. This - awesome. I have received a 60 ml bottle of this for my birthday, but kept it until today without even trying and let the tension build up. It is very unique but it keeps to the extravagant style that all the other Bvlgari fragrances have. Magnificent fragrance.

DrNDJas

Blind buy based on reviews here coupled with the siren call of the TJ Maxx fragrance section...
Bvlgari Man Extreme:
Extremely refined- nothing is harsh or synthetic from opening to drydown
Extremely elegant- I get a lot of quality vetiver in the drydown, a pleasant soft woodiness after a zesty citrus opening. Understatement is a hallmark of elegance, and this perfectly describes Man Extreme. Criticisms I read here fault the frangrance for not being a sillage beast. This is correct, though I don't see this as a flaw: if you want sillage, there are plenty of loud alternatives out there. I find BME to be a silvery, manly, well-mannered scent that will reward those who get close enough to you to discover it.
If you interpret the "Extreme" in the title as meaning something wild or edgy, you may be disappointed. If you want something extremely manly yet dignified, I recommend this!
Thank you, fellow reviewers! This is classy stuff.

maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnn this stuff is magic!!!!if you are looking for a versatile fragrance to wear at work and after work and on the weekends this it.Wearing it today and my coworker leans over and says mmmmmmmm you smell like a real man.just like everyone else said the initial spray is citrus grapefruit blast and then 10 minutes later the magic happens.....vetiver woody floral goodness.I picked this up from ross for 29.99 bl;ind buy although I did remembered sampling it at sephora but didnt think it was ok and then I purchased the 60 ml and gave it a shot and i am glad I did.this and salvatorre ferragamo aqua esseentiale will be my new summer winners!!!

112237

A perfect choice for spring and summer. Absolutely refreshing, elegant, and long-lasting. I see the cactus and freesia the star-elements of this blend.

81Classic

A zesty, spicy citrus! Very manly and extreme indeed. You wear this you get noticed. A good strong scent perfect for the warm months.

MrHonest

Man, I just had to do an addendum after realizing that my initial review was inadequate in describing the actual SMELL of this juice.

Upon initial spray, I get a super bright, organic grapefruit that smells very authentic. No sythentic gross-ness and no blast of alcohol. There's a little bit of bergamot too, and some silent vetiver that comes into play later on.

Honestly, I don't have a clue what cactus sap smells like, so maybe there's that too. But as the fragrance develops with the warmth of my skin, it transforms into a more citrusy-spicy-floral, with the vetiver still in the background. Finally, in the drydown, I get a spicy vetiver that's nowhere near as old-manish as Guerlain vetiver or Terre d'Hermes. It's just very wearable and pleasant.

So bottom line, it's a bright-grapefruit, spicy-vetiver, that's great for DAY-wear to work in the warmer months, dressed up or casual. Apart from Starwalker, this is my go-to in that situation. For the evenings and in the colder months, go with something else. But like I said, for day wear in business attire, this is a real winner. Cheers.

I bought the gift set which had 15mil bottles of Bvlgari Aqua Amara, Bvlgari Aqva Pour Homme, Bvlgari BVL Pour Homme, Bvlgari Man in Black and Bvlgari Man Extreme for around $30. That allowed me to test all five fragrances quite a bit. This was the second best of my five Bvlgari mini bottles. There is a strong initial burst of citrus. It is very nice, I get Bergamot and Pink Grapefruit. The dry down scent is also pleasant and I can detect a little leather. The longevity is moderate and the projection is on the low side of moderate. Overall, I liked it, but I don’t love it. I would not recommend this as there are simply too many other fragrances out there that I love. I will definitely finish this mini bottle, but won’t buy again. My ranking of the five mini bottle collection of Bvlgari fragrances is: 1 – Man in Black EDP, 2 – Man Extreme, 3 – Aqua Amara, 4 – Aqua Pour Homme, and 5 – BVL Pour Homme.

Uni-Scent

Highly recommended for the upcoming summer months. I find this one to be a more interesting take on aquatic fragrances; it may be the added cactus note. Bvlgari Man Extreme in a way reminds me of Versace's Man Eau Fraiche, but more richer and less sharp.

Scent: 8.5 / 10
Projection: 7 / 10

This is 100% classic Alberto Morillas - a very dry, fresh, elegant, manly scent that takes me immediately to wearing a wind-blown linen shirt while gazing placidly at blue Mediterranean water.

This has the core woody-vetiver DNA of the fantastic Man line, but most notably the cactus-citrus accord makes this an "almost-aquatic" for those like me whose body chemistry just can't tolerate actual aquatic notes. I think this has all of the characteristics that allowed the aquatics to storm the beaches in the 90's (fresh, sporty, warm-weather scents that can be used formally or casually) without bringing the aquatic notes that always wind up turning my stomach.

This is in my warm-weather workday rotation, but it's just as suitable to spritz on before a party, before a date, or just out of the shower on a weekend morning.

Like most of the Man line, this is a somewhat delicate scent, so I tend to apply on the heavy side.

EternalReturn

I've used about half of a 60ml bottle I blind-bought for a song 8 months ago. Initially I thought it was just OK: a totally inoffensive, watery freshie with an unusual twist (the cactus juice note) but usual freshie performance, good for the heat of summer. It smelled like a very posh and expensive deodorant to me. So I used it on hot days, and then it became my gym scent throughout the winter. During that time it has grown on me, and now that the weather has warmed up I find myself enjoying it quite a bit.

For me, the vibe of this fragrance is cooling, refreshing, sunny, and joyful. It is dominated by the cactus juice note and the citruses in the opening and mid, along with the cardamom. There is a slight sourness on top, but also a vague sweetness underneath, as well as a very mild, clean, green and not-remotely-smoky vetiver. The notes of the top and mid continue to fade in the drydown, with the sweetness becoming a bit more noticeable. Sometimes, if I put my nose to my skin, I can just barely detect the slightest hint of something woody in the drydown. I'm pretty happy about that, as I think that woodiness would reduce the effectiveness of this frag for the high heat. As I mentioned, the performance is unremarkable. It's definitely not bad, but it's also not that mythical "beast mode" freshie, either.

Here is another take on the aroma. Sometimes, the sillage reminds me a little bit of the "sillage" of a cup of Sprite right out of the fountain machine, if someone had dropped in a cucumber and the syrup ratio had been dialed down so that it was less sweet. That probably doesn't sound very appetizing, but I like it.

FWIW, this has garnered a few mild compliments from female family members, who prefer it to both LIDGE and TdH.

Bottom line: this isn't going to blow anyone away. It's a mildly innovative, mild scent with mild performance. It does smell a bit synthetic, in my opinion, but no more so than something like TdH. More to the point, it's an entirely pleasant, easy-to-wear "dumb reach" for the warm seasons, with decent enough performance, and it's extremely affordable. If you want to smell fresh and clean in the summer or at the gym, want something of a substantially higher quality than Axe or various deodorants, but don't want to spend much money, you'd be hard pressed to find a better buy. At this rate, I am pretty sure that my bottle will be empty by the end of the summer.

Smellinggoodislife

Just got to smell this in the 2.0 oz EDT bottle today. It's decent, compared to other Bvlgari scents, but it's not a stunner scent wise. To me it's only decent. Surprised they call this extreme, perhaps man sport would be more aptly named.

The scent I smelled is an EDT, which I feel is so important in listing for reviews whether it's a deodorant, body mist, After Shave, Cologne, Eau de Toilette or Eau de Parfum.

Longevity:4 it faded on my shirt rather quickly

Not sure why, but this is the 7th scent I've smelled from Bvlgari and the longevity from all of them is below average. I feel like Man In Black, Man in Black Intense and Aqva Amara are their best scents currently to the nose from Bvlgari, but once again, I only get 3 hours tops on any of their scents and I own 5 of them. To the nose, there are just better scents offered by Bvlgari than man extreme. But living in San Diego and it's warm weather year round, longevity is always tested here.

MrHonest

The decision appears to be nearly unanimous:

Reasonable uber-masculine scent, crappy longevity. Perhaps a little generic in the use of citrus. In a couple minutes, the cactus adds some of that signature Bvlgari touch and vetiver makes it more mature. The compliment factor - generally low.

So what does this mean to YOU? How should I know? What do you value in a fragrance? What matters to YOU?

To ME, this is simply one of the greatest scents a man could wear. It's simple, it's subtle, inoffensive, grown-up, stylish and in total F***ing charge. It's a rugged family man. It's a ruthless businessman. It's an outdoors-man. It's a man's man. It's a man's man's man. Yep, it's even a man inside of another man. Had enough yet? That's what HE said.

It's the IDEA of a bodybuilder in a suit and tie. A scary one, jacked and everything. And apparently, I'm not the only one who thinks so. Honestly, I don't care if it's subtle. I ENJOY how this juice makes me feel, and don't mind carrying decants. Simply a much better version of Bvlgari Aqua. Nuff said.

PS - I've smelled every men's frag from Bvlgari, tested each on my skin and this one works best. That's why I have a full bottle. I'll concede that Man in Black is pretty good too, but I prefer spicebomb. The entire Aqva line becomes too sour and salty, and the originals all smell like cellulose fibres mixed with sugar water. I just wanted something fresh and elegant from the Bvlgari house and this is it. Sure, there is better stuff out there, but I just can't get enough of this juice!

TonyAKAMrClean

This is MANLY stuff. Fitting name.

JSUN3434

To me, this is a more piney prickly version of Man Eau Fraiche by Versace, except this dies WAY to fast. I get 1 hour of average projection and then maybe 3 more hours of a skin scent. Might have to try the eau de parfum because I do really enjoy the sharp piercing citrus, performance just sucks.

Smell alone is a nine, but sillage and performance are weak

6.5/10

darrendesignworld

It is strong it's brutal it's very masculine but after I feel the scent similar to gillyflower in more aggressive way, frankly speaking I'm not a fan of this type of scents but if you like something aggressive strong you can check it out for me it's like the "hugo boss by hugo" in it's aggressive mode

krsams1

Yes 20+ can definitley wear this.

Rizkyahya

The scent of this fragrance is excellent. Its clean, fresh, masculine, young, sexy, you name it. Women absolutely love this.
My issue with this fragrance is in term of performance. Man Extreme isnt extreme at all. The projection only lasts for 2-3 hours and after that it becomes skin scent. 7/10 for me

junior.melo

Good perfum, but unfortunately it is very close to the skin. It has a very poor silage. Bvlgari has built an even interesting aroma, but as a trademark in many perfumes of the house, it sins in the potential fragrance.

Perfume_David_Master

Bvlgari is a fine house and you can simply trust almost all scents being made of good quality and specially on performance, it is one of the best in the market.
The nose behind it is Alberto Morillas whom I respect a lot for his great works (e.g. bvlgari man la notte).
I got this one as a gift sample when I bought one of my favorites from the house of CH ;) of whom their scents on contrary do not last that long ;)
While buying a perfume, you need to make compromises and find out what the most important things are that you expect from it. For me always the first impression plays a big role and I can compromise to buy a great scent that does not project that well (CH ;))
I tested this Bvlgari Man extreme and it was not something I would say I buy, though it is a personal choice, even if it performs well and last long on my skin.
On the opening you get a blast of citrus cactus smell that does not easily fade away, later some cardamom and white grapefruit and unfortunately, the wonderful vetiver, amber, benzoin and woody notes do not come up to the scene that vividly!
Test one before you buy and better not go for a blind one.
In my opinion:
Scent: 6/10
Projection: 9/10
Longevity: 9/10
Price: reasonable
Overall: 8/10
not for me though ;)

chardee_macdennis

Slightly underrated within the community, especially considering its price. It manages to be a fresh summer scent while avoiding played-out aquatic territory. It's firmly masculine without being too obtrusive. And somehow, it stands out as unique amongst a sea of other fruity fresh summer scents. There's some sharpness in the realm of L'Eau d'Issey, but it's not as intense and less likely to induce a headache.

Summer is my least favorite time for fragrances. So many of my favorite creations do not jive in temps over 70 degrees, and I have a tough time keeping things interesting for myself. Bvlgari Man Extreme is my ultimate change-up pitch for high heat. It lasts an entire work day, it'll last for an entire night out, I'm confident wearing it, and it even pleases those around me. How can I not be happy getting all of that for $28?

The only quirk that may arise is that you may not personally enjoy the signature twist in this fragrance: The cactus. It's tough to describe what it smells like, but it's definitely what keeps BvME from being another pedestrian summer freshie. Bvlgari has pleased me in the past with BMIB, but I'd say that this scent was an even more successful blind buy for me.

tricky5000

It has a creed aventus vibe to it in the top note

moody.tellawi

its all time perfume , not only day or night
i really love it <3

tricky5000

Women love it

S.Roslan

A night perfume only. Fresh and citrusy opening, the top, middle and base composition as claimed should be different scent, but what I got only the top notes and a bit of the middle notes. The base notes? I'm still looking for it. The longevity is better during night and projection quite good during morning and night.

joenick68

This is a citrus blast at the opening, but it really fades down pretty quickly, I was wearing Eros yesterday and got a lot of compliments, but none today for this one, actually I was told: "you don't smell as nice like yesterday..." so I guess the points went towards Versace Eros this time.

lou6

one of the manliest fragrances I've smell.
First give you a strong citrus mix with the cardanom. Then, one hour later the vetiver attack with the cactus note :P...
Strong longevity (10h+) project very well (my brother was a few meters away when I sprayed and he smell it)
Can be a compliments getter on the right person, a mature fragrance
This fragrance is very classy, night outs, formal event, office
Great year round fragrance but be careful in the summer :)

Bvlgari Man Extreme has a very disappointing performance on my skin with a weird smell ( like a rotten lemon ) not like the magnificent man black.

francisnatanaell

What a Surprise to me one of the best of its kind, very elegant, sober perfect for being used almost all seasons, i purchased it not expecting pretty much, because most of the perfumes i have i feel them (smell) Just a while and then vanished but not this one i think i get noticed while wearing it, very fresh so well blended imho, i give a solid 8.5 out of 10,

Good job Maestro Morillas :)

Telfo05

smells like issy miyake l'eau d'issey for men

houstcs

I saw this at a tj maxx today and couldn't pass it up, but I had only previously owned the original Bvlgari man, have to say I am pleased it doesn't come off as synthetic which turns me away from many designers I wish I could wear more. I own very little summer month type fragrances but this is very pleasing.

jacked 24/7

Bulgari man extreme is a very natural smell to wear. Though it is somewhat odd which is probably from the cactus, almost has a musky floral smell to it.this could be used everyday for spring and summer. I glanced through previous reviews and caught some people saying it is "transparent" and kind of difficult to smell, I can vouch for that. This doesn't mean its weak or has low performance, after a few hours I cant really smell it on myself any more but upwards of 6-8 hours later co workers and my gf say they can still smell it. Some note in it causes olfactory fatigue pretty quickly. Out of my colognes which I don't have all that much, this isn't my favorite but its an easy go to for everyday. Btw, girls do go crazy over this one..

I am wearing this today 05/05/2016 temp currently 17 degrees Celsius (I live in England) and all I can say is this is a very nice "mature" (in my opinion): woody aromatic.

The composition opens up with a blast of citrus being the grapefruit & bergamot, followed nicely in the mid by the floral of white freesia, warmed up by Cardamom with the amber giving it a slight touch of sweetness. All drying down to a lovely vetiver and balsa wood.

Personally I love this fragrance especially for the spring / summer months it's fairly transparent so the heat I find makes the fragrance project more easily on my skin 6-7 hours

Lovely, this baby seems to draw a certain "Ahhhh!!" By mature women and mature men also appreciate this scent.

Don't get me wrong I'm in my 30's and just don't really see this taking the liking of the demographic below that (you should see some faces of younger men and women when I walk by them :-( ).

Nevertheless a very sophisticated scent by all means.

Oldspice

Very pleasant citrus blast upon application. Unique for a citrusy, fresh fragrance due to the cactus note. Sillage dies down about 15 minutes after applying to basically a skin scent.

Longevity is good but as with other Bvlgaris, projection is disappointing.

Ravenwind

The opening is fresh, bright and almost electric without being metallic, if that makes sense. This must be the cactus juice component as I have never smelled that before and it makes it unique for sure. The longevity is about 3 hours on me with a very close sillage, so safe for work in the spring/summer. The sprayers on this style Bulgari bottle is still not good..if you don't crank on it quickly to mist it, a partial press shoots a small concentrated stream. Overall, certainly a unique enough fragrance to keep and a good price. A 3.5 of 5 due to poor longevity and sillage...but that might just be my own chemistry. I wish it lasted longer to experience the woodiness more fully.

Nice Smell, its refreshing and not synthetic at all, this frag is all natural made wt non synthetic notes and nt cloying, bt this frag is all about the cactus juice, thats all you will smell from the opening and until the perfume dies.

Lovely citrussy fragrance, and quite unique probably due to the cactus zest note. Great summer frag.

Hidden gem ! I just hope it doesn't go mainstream. If you guys do get to wear this xDDDDD keep it on a downlow.

I love this one. This was my first premium perfume. It's modern, masculine & fresh. I think it's suitable for guys in their mid 20s & up. I also find it to be quite sophisticated & sensual. It projects well & lasts longer than Bvlgari Man. You can wear almost anytime but it's a good fragrance for going out. I received the most compliments wearing this one

Khan aziz

Fantastic perfume, one can not resist to get out of the mesmerizing effects. Though rich in spices yet like to be with.

Neo Ramaphoko

First spray it's wow , drys downs it's a way to go with this one , I trust this one .. It fits well on clubbing and other occasions , very intriguing

Anyone smelled the Bulgari Man Extreme Intense (All Blacks Limited Edition)?
Don't see it listed on this forum.
Is it the same as the original version, only stronger?
I Read that the intense version is an EDP.

Sophisticated Redneck

Simply put, this is an orgasm in a bottle. Women and Men will follow you to the end of the earth.

HyenaSuperstition

I smelled this last night & was able to get a sample for my boyfriend. I can hardly wait to smell it on him. The green & citrus notes explode into the most clean & masculine blend with just a hint of romance tethered to the mix. The woods in it are milder to my nose for some reason. Maybe that will change when on his skin.

This one is seriously dizzying... In a good way. ;)

marlon bersamino01

Reminds me of Creed Silver Mountain Water but less powdery
Great perfume women love it!!!

TheNewEra

Pros:

- Strong scent of cactus and grapefruit
- Unique notes not usually found together
- Very "sharp"
- Extremely "sporty" smelling (read review for details)
- Energetic and stimulating scent
- Has about 6 hours of longevity
- Sillage is decent
- Anywhere, anytime scent
- Could easily become somebodys signature scent

Cons:

- Drydown smells like church candles
- Some people may find this smell offputting
- May induce headache on overapplication
- A bit to "excited" for some people

I like this scent, but I don't really at the same time. Personally it reminds me of axe shampoo (cant remember which one specifically) or burning church candles.

However this is an extremely sporty cologne as it does have energy and it most certainly does have an active personality within the notes. This scent is practically for the young person on the move who will break a sweat. It, in my opinion, is the very definition of what a "sporty" scent would be like. If you aren't moving or have any hustle, definitly not an appropriate cologne.

All that being said I don't mind it. Not something that works for me but I can see it working very well for somebody else. It could definitly be used as a signature scent for somebody who is young, energized, and active.

Melted

Another winner from Bvlgari in my book. I love the opening and the cactus/citrus blast best of all, but the rest is nice too although longevity isn't great for me.

A suitable fragrance for any occasion. However, I would personally opt for a stronger fragrance for an evening out.

kanak

Man extreme is a good, versatile, all season frag with a twist- the Cactus note. I personally like it and think it gives this frag a uniqueness but some of my friends who tried it found it a bit weird so this is definitely a try before you buy.

Citrus notes from the bergamot and grapefruit with the cactus in the top, mostly a slightly spicy cardamom coming in the heart before the usual woody vetiver suspects in the base. The cactus note is there for pretty much the whole scent life so it might be a deal breaker if you dont like it. Good projection and longevity is about the 6 hour mark on me.

I have worn it for summer nights, during the monsoon and winter and it works equally well in all of the above. I personally think it is a bit of a formal fragrance, works better if you are well dressed and is office friendly if you dont go crazy with the sprays. I have gotten the odd compliment so cant complain. Strong like on this one.8/10

Endymion

Why do they name it Bvlgari MAN Extreme when it has no, really zero, similarity to Bvlgari MAN?!
It's a completely different fragance, should be called Bvlgari MAN 2 or anything else.

smellavision

A very nice summer scent in the vein of Versace Man eau Fraiche, but with much more power on the zesty grape and bergamot side and sweet starfruit quickly followed by a background layering of vetiver.

The opening is REALLY great and super fresh, simply made for that hot summer day. Still, I'm finding it ironic that this is called extreme as longevity isn't very extreme, it lasts only a good three hours on me.

If you're into the fresh citrus/bergamot colognes of the Acqua di Parma line but can't quite afford them, this is a very decent alternative.

Ricardo the Great

Quite simply, one of the best designer fragrances on the market. Sophisticated and classy, BME has got it all. Remarkably inexpensive on the auction site. You'll enjoy BME all the way to the bank. A great combination with Terre d'Hermes layered over top.

hossein_gi

another official perfume from bvlgari. actually this brand produce real manly perfumes in contrast to others.mix of cactus and lime smell like pineapple in this perfume. a little like aventus range scents.i like it for once buy not more. decent last and sillage 7/10

rafa3lo

I bought this eau de toilette and i can say i am in love with the smell..in the dry down it seems like Aqua di gio essenza but not that strong quality of armani. If it hasn't been the longevity and sillage issue it would be great fragrance..not unique but good.I wonder if it' s only my olfactory fatique and everybody else can smell it...Anyay it is great citrus and woody fragrance that performs better in the heat..

averageguy

This is an interesting fragrance. It starts off with a big blast of citrus with a subtle powdery undertone.

Once it has dried down, I get a suggestion of spiciness to underpin the citrus smell (which settles down after the initial burst).

An hour or so after the initial spray I start to detect the woodiness in this fragrance and I love it. This is a confident and sophisticated fragrance.

HanifGeo

What I got from smelling this is a blast of citrus notes at first, then it slowly gives way to some woody notes after a few hours. I love this fragrance. Something different from all those sweet smelling modern colognes. Not too overpowering like grandpa's cologne either. Perfect for hot weather and I wear it day and night. The only bad thing is the sillage is poor and the longevity is not that good (5-8 hrs max). Overall, I'll give Bvlgari Man Extreme a solid 8/10

Pars2002.
You're absolutely right about Guerlain L'eau Boisée. It IS the very best scent in this genre.
I do love Bvlgari Man in Black Extreme, and within a few minutes of application, I have had compliments.
Trouble is that it's an average performer, and it seems to be gone in 2-3 hours, but if you get it on your clothing, far more. For me, Bvlgari Aqva Amara is Bvlgari's most solid offering.
I will persist with Bvlgari Man in Black, as it is a great scent, and the cactus makes it unique.

Update: I keep using this more and more and the compliments keep rolling in! I will probably buy another bottle.

Rorshach1004

Bvlgari Man Extreme opens with an aromatic citrus that settles down with some sweetness coming through from the amber middle note. I didn’t get any vanilla on my skin, and that's a shame as I like vanilla, but I did get a strong, enjoyable citrus (I think it was the Bergamot) lingering through even to the drydown. It has cactus in it as well, and I’m guessing that is the green note that lingers behind the citrus. It’s nice, and it probably helps turn the scent into more of a masculine than feminine perfume. I like the scent, it’s comforting, airy, alluring, and it carries that enduring citrus bite. For a hot summer day when I want to wear something with elements of citrus and soft aromatic woodsey notes then this will be the one that I turn to. It’s not standout, but if you can get it at a decent price then it’s well worth buying as secondary hot day scent. It’s good, but not good enough to be a signature scent, and if I had to give it a rating (which I will do now) I’d give it a solid, if unspectacular 7/10.

pars2002

Another beautiful creation from this house and popular MAN line. It refreshes you during hot summer days, lasts few hours though. I strongly still believe that the GUERLAIN homme L'eau boisee' is the perfect fragrance from this genre.

everlicious

The very best of Bvlgari for man. Long lasting power, great silage and distinctive and exotic bouquet that makes me feel higher and sexy. Unpredictable and totally irresistible

LerouxC

Beautiful aromatic opening with a splash of citrus but that's the best part of this fragrance.

It has an average lifespan with below average projection & sillage.

If you want to wear this on a regular basis make sure to have an atomizer with you. Refresh every 2 hours.

damightyheru

I sprayed this at Sephora's and I could barely smell anything. It is a weird scent that has a way of seeming transparent. I sprayed on my body and paper and to be honest, a scent was hardly there. What i did smell was pleasant but also very weak to my standards. Many say that like Aventus this scent plays with your nose. You may not smell it but others will. Maybe it was the olfactory fatigue perhaps but I don't see myself getting this scent anytime soon.

7/10

victoria.mei1992

Bvlgari man is fully transparent and man extreme is less transparent. I didn't try this yet, but looking at the notes I guess it should be unique and fresh scent. I bought bvlgari aqva marine. It's a little bit too salt watery scent but it's unique and maybe you smell like coral scent like wet rocks in the water. Great for summer.

Pianomelody

A smell very fresh and energetic! Very nice, the notes I hear the most are the cactus and grapefruit .. very nice after about 20 minutes .. becomes soft, and the beginning energetic start to become softer, and freesia I think it fits very well with all other notes. I prefer to use it for spring. On my skin the projection is not very good .. (about 2-3 hours) while longevity is about 6 hours.
Concluding: It 'a nice smell house Bvlgari, makes energetic, happy !! :)

Just received this few days ago and glad to have it.This is a kind of fresh ,energized, especially for summer, day or night, a safe scents but not that flat.
The point is don't let the transparent scents of Man Extreme fool you even two full sprey will last from breakfast 'till dinner (this is about the longivity but the sillage is decrease a light aura)
Definitely the scent is still there with you but many said its gone after an hour or two including me.lol
but wait for its acceleration to perform its base notes ,you won't disappointed.
* this is just one of the safe scent which consists of a fresh ,energized of scents. It's not a very unique or niche or a must have. Thank you.

APULIAN

there are few extreme fragrances right for spring and summer and bulgari man extreme is one of them. maybe it is not so unique and original, but it's very pleasant to my nose, not boring or classic. this fragrance is fresh, manly and classy, for day and night and better in hot seasons. very good longevity and sillage. in my opinion is better than the original version. not for teen agers.

ps the bottle became transparent if u look at it against the light. i never knew this...

I just recently acquired this fragrance and I totally agree with everyone who says it's nothing like MAN. When I think of extreme, I think of this juice being 2x stronger with a slight twist of emphasis on certain notes more. This isn't even close to the original version at all!
Having said I will say that this frag is definitely a fresh, clean, aromatic, sweet and playful juice prefect for summer wear. Excellent for casual and for going out with friends without it being over bearing. This fragrance has a twist being more of a citrus notes being supported by hint of cardamom and not the woodsy base of the original version.
Longevity and Silage is moderate overall
Final thoughts,
This juice isn't what a lot make it out to be..I always remind everyone that your body chemistry may not be suitable so try it before buying it. Not a smig to being generic at all. 7/10 ☺

YogSodoth

Fantastic opening, my skin chemistry eats it in about 15 seconds and just leaves a vague Play-Doh smell.
So sad. *sigh*

henriques

A great citrus woody aromatic scent!
Underrated for collectors because the tradicional class.
However if you don't have a lot of fragrances (like me) Bvlgari Man Extreme can be a great everytime scent. For day/day, casual and office.

The good citrus is not impressive at the first sniff, but it has it's own personality with cactus juicy, freesia, benzoin and cardamom, wich gives it a singularity among this type of fragrance.

Wait for the dry down (like 5-8 hours later) and admire the wonderfull natural base (unfortunatelly, that part is just for you that put your nose on your skin - I can say the base of vetiver and benzoin can reminds me a little bit of Terre D'Hermes vibe).

It's not all literal citrus fragrance, it has a ludic part: It's deep (like the commercial), has a narrow line between mystery and courage - a vibrating energy. That's why you must to be patience to admire this scent. Like I said about the citrus beggining, this scent gets better every hour passing. Don't judge by the first minutes.

Mike Peters

I love Man Extreme. It's perfect for the day and has been lasting weeks on my clothes. I just bought Man in Black, and that is the absolute perfect compliment to the collection of Bvlgari's Man fragrances. It's a must have you are a leather coat type of guy.

Mike

ShaverX

Beautiful Calabrian bergomot of highest quality, nice cactus with a dark spicy benzoin drydown. Impressed. This will be work more often by me!

kingderella

A masculine, fresh citrus. Pleasant and classy, perfectly appropriate for work. Not exactly exciting or interesting, though.

RogerJr17

I like the opening. BME has a realistic citrus opening that surprises me coming from a designer house. Many designers that I've tried have failed at attempting at what Man Extreme does well. What intrigued me about it is the development. I was expecting an above average linear citrus scent. That is not the case with this scent. It actually goes very dry and woody, while maintaining that quality. A very good job with this one Bvlgari.

Juiceman 0331

I have to respectfully disagree about Bulgari Man Extreme getting compared to Zegna Uomo, because Zegna Uomo although has citrus is not that strong or prominent compared to the initial citrus blast from Bulgari Man Extreme.
Zegna Uomo has a mellower citrus, violet leaf and earthy vibe to it, unlike BME which is mostly all citrus in the beggining. This is one of the most citrusy cologne I have ever smelt and bought, the other one is Versace Au Fraiche. Once you spray this cologne you get the sensation of cold and refreshing citrus, which is great for summer time or hotter weather.

Would I buy this again when I finish my bottle? No.
I just think, I could find a better citrusy aquatic cologne for my money.
My overall rating 7/10

dreyfoose

Pepper blast.
Whoever thinks this smells like Aventus, is whack.

solohov

It is very similar to Ermenegildo Zegna Uomo. It is absolutely not related to the Bvulgari Man.This is very superior relative to Bvulgari Man.

Citrus Goodness and a Summer Favorite!
________________________________________

A modern masterpiece in freshness and summer pleasantries. Quite possibly a strong competitor for my summer signature fragrance, given its quality over Nautica Voyage.
Bvlgari Man Extreme opens strong with a patchouli overtone, and softens down to sweet citrus that sits long upon the skin and projects beautifully for a good portion of its life.
This fragrance is great for summer time, or any hot/ warm seasons when one wants to stay at their freshest.
Spray recommendations: one to the chest, one to the neck, one to each wrist. Don't be afraid of this stuff- it comes on strong, but dies to a pleasant and manageable scent after about twenty minutes.
Warning to those that wear: it is common for this to fatigue the wearer. When you wear this scent, you will stop noticing it fairly quickly. This is common. Don't worry; it is still there, and projecting for the first couple hours. No need to reapply unless you want to be super fresh during those hot months.

Longevity: 8/10 (8+ hours)
Projection: 7/10 (projects well for 2-3 hours, and then dies to a raging skin scent)
Versatility: 7/10 (Great for summer/ spring)
Smell: 7/10 (Citrus-y goodness)

Manny44

Very nice spring scent in the fashion of Voyage D'Hermes. Soft but not too soft, in fact some days this can be sharper than I normally like.More refreshing and substantial than the original Bvlgari Man which is way too ephemeral . Super unique cactus note to boot. Tested from an affordable 15ml travel spray purchased on Ebay. Downside to this is that it projects well for only 2 hours on me. I know when I wear it that I will be reapplying throughout the day, which is possible because I own the travel spray. Can be annoying though, prefer fragrances that that project 4 hours or so, less fuss that way.

Update: Respect and like this frgrance more and more. Juicy, zesty and bright, totally unique actually and not just because of great cactus note.

tomusiovy

The scent is really beatiful - very manly, yet fresh and zesty. Its main advantage is that it's very universal. It goes well during day or at night, it's both sporty and classy, summer/winter, just any occasion you want. Unfortunately I'm not impressed with the longevity and sillage - both are really mediocre. My other Bvlgari parfumes had strong scents and this one let me down a lil' bit.

Longevity - 5/10
Sillage - 6/10
Scent - 8/10

namgyel.rangdol

@Gokhanburak53 ...... Thanks for your reply and confirmation ..... I was guessing that would be the case. A neat trick by the house of Bvlgari !!!!

Gokhanburak53

to namgyel, spray straw is so subtle that you cant see the rest of it, dont worry, just know that it goes to the bottom ^^ so you are able to finish all the juice in the bottle

namgyel.rangdol

I recently bought a Bvlgari Man Extreme 100 ml from Siam Paragon, Bangkok. It smells great and i love the perfume. It's my signature scent when i go out at night. It compliments the night perfectly. It's got a ratio of 70% manly and 30% sporty.

How ever i have an issue. I noticed that the spray straw is just a few millimetres below the sprayer head. How will i be able to spray when the perfume level goes down ? This is my first Bvlgari perfume, so i don't know if that's how Bvlgari designs their perfumes. All other perfumes have their spray straw all the way to the bottom. Could someone explain this to me ?

Chromakey Dreamcoat

I must admit that after spraying this in the shop I was initially excited. It was fresh, citrusy, green and a good spring time scent to my nose. Having bought it and worn it for a while, I now find the whole thing cloying and way too sweet. It smells hugely synthetic and nauseating. I'm increasingly of a mind to start venturing into niche scents and paying more in order to avoid experiences like the one I've had with Bvlgari Man Extreme.

duzmantic

Talk about being classy! This is not for the Man who wears cologne to attract the opposite sex. This is for the elegant Man with class and character and wants his presence to be felt, which distinguishes him from the rest. I wear this cologne not to get compliments but because it defines who i am.

rez11

great (signature) scent!! my untrained nose wouldn't be surprised if it was labeled "Sport", versatile and fresh compared to other similar frags from this house.

words from the creator:
outube.com/watch?v=GkIgCWJunkg

jejemon

i like the manly scent of it but it doesnt last long on me and projection is just so so. the drydown is one of the scent i like the most.

scent - 8/10
projection - 6/10

Jassar

Expected better than this. Sharp and too spicy. Headache inducing.

RUDOLFO512

Very nice as expected from the house of Bvlgary. I love the initial spray and the soft dry down. To me this fragrance is sophisticated, elegant and masculine. I am wearing it today for the office and already I have had compliments. I can also see myself wearing it for a night out.

Catch22

Reminds me of a toned down version of Cartier Declaration. It's a much more wearable version and more masculine without being a green-flower bomb.

The cardamom and citrus notes dominate, but there is an underlying creamy sweetness to keep it from turning sour. There is a very slight sharpness present that I suspect is the cactus juice, but remains subtle enough not to be annoying.

Nicely composed through the drydown. Sillage is average and longevity above average for Bvlgari and only average by normal standards.

Aleccsei

BVLGARI MAN ETREME - one damn SEXY fragrance!!!

When I first discovered 'Chanel Allure Homme Edition Blanche', i fell in love with it. The kind of powerful freshness was one of a kind. I thought (and still do) that it is a truly unique masterpiece.

I didn't think it to be possible, but something seems to be going in the same direction as Edition Blanche - it's freshness is amazing. When you spray it on you, it's like you spray ice onto you... it's that fresh. You can feel the cactus and bergamot.

It keeps you in a state of coolness and fresh several hours - not many hours, but a few.

I love it.

bigdaddykane45

This a strong version of issey miyaki orginal pour homme with a dry down like bvlgari man.i like it.lasts all day.

pdubrogers

Love this stuff. The top note makes this. Not earth shattering by any means but lasts all day and just smells good and I'd say pretty masculine, too. Not much projection which is fine for me since I wear it for work. I'm picking up a leather accord in the base. Not a scentrist by any means, maybe a vetiver mix. It's similar to the original Man but its like they had the chance to improve upon the first prototype and this is more complete.

ijoezel

my uncle has this and every time he's not around i spray it on me. lol.
this to me is very versatile. can be worn casually and in formal occasions. wearable during the summer and spring but also during the cold months.
it smells freaking awesome! an elegant modern man. definitely signature scent worthy.
i wish my uncle would give his to me.haha

Voile

Very close to a the original, with some of the astringency of the Aqua line.
It would be fun to know what the cactus note smells like on it's own - are we supposed to think Tequilla?

Pv52fa

Reminds me of habit rouge sport, only more refreshing.

thatsmr2usir

Bvlgari is a fragrance house I have some issues with. It is not that they make terrible fragrances, but for the majority of them, they do not last on my skin. Extreme Man which there is nothing extreme here is a fresh grapefruit, woody, slightly peppery addition to the many fragrances done in this composition. Terre De Hermes is one that comes to mind as this kind of gives off a weaker vibe of that.

This Extreme addition ( giggling ) as I type this, is nothing to get excited about. It has been done before, much better I may add with a notable fragrance I have mentioned. I will say it is SAFE & nice for the office, but do not expect much from this. I get MAYBE 5-6 hours from this, silage is basically arms reach & I have yet to be complimented on this. I have three samples & will continue to use them up, but I see no reason what so ever to purchase a full bottle of this as for me it is a total waste of time & hard earned money. A very generic boring fragrance to my nose.

rajeevdr

Just go get it.

This is perfect for those who would like to get comments for the smell of the perfume. Most of my friends have actually said it smells cool. One of them asked me if i had sprayed now(@night) but actually i spray only once in a day(@morning) and lasts long till evening.
Dont feel bad if you dont get the smell, but the others will definetly smell more than i do.

Cheers BVLGARI Man Extreme

genny17

Well it is stylish, masculine yet not overpowering, so I see nothing wrong with it really!?
My husband wears it nicely, it is the right mix between casual yet with a twist of elegance...and some maturity also...I actually like it better than Terre d' Hermes, which can get very earthy.
Nice...typical Morillas creation, not too much of everything ...it won't work if you are looking for an out of this world creation, this is not, it is simply a nice masculine scent.

Houdini4

Loads of sharp grapefruit and citrus then the dry peppery Terre d'Hermes effect with vetiver and a very pronounced cardamom note...a clear composition of citrus/vetiver with a little spice executed in textbook fashion.
This is similar to lots of fragrances and things I like but somehow I just can't get excited about it.
It's alright....I would certainly wear it no problem at all...but wouldn't seek it out.

Nick M

POW -- grapefruit! Too bad I can't detect much else because it's so overpowering. I love citrus scents, as well as Alberto Morillas -- he's done great work for Bvlgari -- but there just isn't enough complexity here.

Vastalux

With my amateur nose, on initial spray the citrus note has similarity with the CK One and after an hour later the smell become same like Terre d'Hermes. Longevity and silage also on average side too. Personally I don't really like the smell. I will never re-purchase once this finished.

yenilik

I purchased it today and wore it half an hour ago... well, Ifeel, it is somehow strong, yet there is something lacking within it; like newness and being different and innovative, not surprising enough for your memory and mind of scent...

attajigar

عطر خیلی خوبیه تو سری بولگاری من از همه بهتر بوی تمیز و خنکی داره بوی برگاموت و کریپ فروتش بیشتر از همه معلومه ته بوشم خیلی عالیه

Liebetx

Love it on my husband! Like another reviewer, I detected black pepper but for me, it was a good thing. Also a lovely gin/vodka element underlying the fresh citrus. Very nice, unassuming fragrance. Great for everyday wear.

chanakya

Is it just me or do you some of you guys think its Armani Code Sport in a different bottle too? it's sooooo similar to Code sport.

Well,as for the perfume itself, i guess its citrusy for sure. I'm not very good with these notes. I'm guessing am not that much an expert in those. To me it's all about what hits me first. And for this one it's just citrusy, period!

Lasts merely an hour or even less if the heat is on right in the morning!! But then, living in sunny Singapore, I guess no perfume lasts much longer except for some of my favorites Narciso Rodriguez, CK Obsession & Armani Attitude Extreme.

dosojosnegros

finally got some and instantly in my top 3. i have Bvlgari Man as well and they are different. The House of Bvlgari is just amazing to me with the quality of their colognes and perfumes. the longevity is excellent on me as it lasts for more than 8hrs! i was complimented 3X in the supermarket by women. great looking bottle too!

fuggerone

great summer scent..a blockbuster, one of the most shoplifted at my local Sephora...citrusy and woodsy to the bone..women seem to appreciate it a lot..

[email protected]

A crisp, sexy, citrus-watery frag with decent projection and longevity..

I appplied 6 heavy sprays

0 - 1 hour - 1.75 foot projection. Strong citrus, modern, with a watery twist - presume cactus. This is office material, though part of me thinks night time. Great smell.

1 hours - 4 hours - 7 inch projection. Decent strength, it becomes less citrus and more watery over time as the cactus prevails

4 hours - 6 hours - 4 inch projection.

6 hours - 10 hours. Close to skin, Drydown not as good, its like a watered down barber shop frag and a little dated now

IMHO sexy, could be very sporty...

Good

bwcw81

I wonder why people willing to pay the same price for the less intense, less projection, less longevity and less "original" of the original Bvlgari MAN?
> Except maybe be one - the "Extreme" citrus scent that linger around and gone by the moment you walk out the doorstep, it has more H2O than anything.
Buy the original. Nothing beat the original Bvlgari MAN.

moh.saleh

I'm in love with this fragrance. Very long lasting and suitable for summer.

Force

I received it in my BD yesterday, very long lasting mature man scent, love it, thanks my sister

Brandon_4078

I got a free sample of this and it does project better than the original but should be called sport not extreme. I get mostly grapefruit and bergamot in the opening and bergamot through out the life of this fragrance with vetiver and woods in the back and it gets woodier as time goes on. Towards the end of the bright citrus opening I did get the cactus juice for a couple minutes but then it disappeared. Good scent just not me. I prefer the relaxation the original gives me.

periquito89

Rather than an extreme version, it'd be better call it L'eau d'Bvlgari Man. The main feature of the original, a smell that was interesting at first but became boring later, is still there, but just enough to say that. And because this it turned to be more pleasant, and a good and even better alternative to many current fresh, mild, blue and sport scents. It would be a sport version, in a way Issey Miyake Sport Man is. Where Issey's has a metallic tone that is often tired, this has that nuance of the original Bvlgari Man that here is more than ok.

carera

i have seen the orignal one more beautiful and orignal

dmirror

This is my second review of this fragrance this fragrance is it the "truth" best fragrance of 2013 possibly the best released over the last year i bought it about a week ago and gotten a few compliments with it longevity is good around 9hrs this is a smooth fragrance much better than the original i smelled them side by side and the extreme version is way better much fresher if you like fresh clean scents this is it this one i say blind buy you won't be disappointed

nszlufik

Sprayed this on my polo, a piece of paper and skin. Smells amazing, much better than the original IMO. More exotic, and not really comparable to the original - notes are different. I didnt like the overdone honey in the original but this one has a way better drydown that isnt exactly typical of BVLGARI. Its got that light but lingering dry down that is addictive - kinda like how they do the scent of tea - but of course there is no tea in here. Dry down is amazing, you just cant take a deep enough breath to figure out what specifically makes it smell so good - and thats a good thing...you dont want to smell like any one thing..Amber or this or that. I would describe this a floral-spicy fragrance with slight citrus on the top and the amber at the bottom with other base notes give it a warm feel. The Cardamon also makes its way in there and gives it a warm, masculine feel to it. There is a green-ness that is very recognizable (faintly reminds me of the overdone green you smell in 212 men) early on that begins to fade in the drydown as it takes a more soft-floral and slightly spicy character. Dont know too many colognes with these base note combos but id imagine Benzoin makes it unique - as well as Cactus zest. An elegant yet modern and sensual scent that isnt cloying, annoying or overdone. It does not scream at you like Tom Ford Noir or Prada Amber but it has a similar depth to it and a little more complex and intriguing. It smells mature and understated in the way that BVLGARI PH Soir does or Issey does his Sport fragrance if you can understand that.Give it a try and if you dont like it, send it over my way!

yilmazg

Sportier version of the original. The fruity-floral notes(lotus-pear?)volume turned down and woody notes volume turned on with added citruses. Woody, citrusy, sporty cologne which resembles the original. I like the original better but this is probably a better choice for the summer. The longevity of Extreme is better. Around 7 hours.

Smelled this one today and it is good much better than the original it only has a slight resemblance to it its that funny smell i don't know what it is but in the original one its a heavy smell in the extreme you don't smell it until the dry down but this one is a fresher fragrance not extreme at all its more like a sport fragrance I'm definitely going to get this one in my opinion the extreme is way better but check it out before blind buying it but i personally like it but i don't like the original at all
