Dior presents its new fragrance Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming from the famous Miss Dior collection in August 2016. The in-house perfumer Francois Demachy announced it as the edition that opens with bright fruity notes, intended for cheerful women who love life.

Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming is a new olfactory variation of Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet, designed as a sexier, more passionate and more modern scent. The hot pink color of the liquid matches the delicious floral character. The composition is comprised of three layers: red berries, Centifolia May rose from Grasse and peony, as well as white musk.

It is available in 30, 50 and 100 ml sizes.

Perfume rating: 3.77 out of 5 with 481 votes.

The perfect fruity floral. Juicy red fruits and fresh, realistic flowers laid on a spicy, musky base. Very sweet and girly. Romantic would be a good describing word. Definitely a pink scent. My nighttime date fragrance. Guys love it :P

This scent is a beauty that seems like a bit of a mix of some I've smelt before.
In the opening I smell that same whipped cream smell I get in LVEB intense. Which is really confusing because the notes aren't similar at all.
During the dry down I see the comparison to Si that everyone's talking about. It has that same syrupy rose that cuts through the air. None of the intense black current though.
And I do get the thick powdery sweetness of tresor nuit, especially when sniffing up close.
Do I think that it's bad that this fragrance shared similarities?
Of course not, I think it's actually great it's like 3 fragrances in one. I think it great for lovers of floral and sweet fruits.

The sweetness weirdly went away after two months of wearing it... Anyone else have a similar experience? As you can see with two of my reviews below I was raving and getting to know the fragrance but ultimately it turned on me completely to the point where I had a relative go from liking it to asking "ugh what is that?"...At that point I knew it couldn't only be my nose. No issues with storage

I thought I loved this one when I tried it on in perfume shops, I bought a 50ml and I was so disappointed, every time I wear it I get a huge headache, its incredibly strong and sweet !

So disappointed. This is basically original 'Miss Dior cherie' with pomegranate and ugh. It just doesn't smell right to me. Too much fruit mixed in with original miss dior

A strong, yet very specific fruity floral. With beautiful notes of raspberry, blackcurrant and pomegranate. I love that it has the light touch of pink pepper in it also. And I love any scent with a touch of musk/wood notes added as well. Lasts well and works well with my body chemistry. And the bottle is gorgeous in it's simplicity, yet still beautifully elegant. I like to wear it more during the daytime but it could be worn at night too. I've been looking forward to getting this ever since I first smelled it and I finally have it!

It failed me. Too fruity. Not my cup of tea. I am a big fan of Miss Dior range. It was my first signature fragrance when I launched my career. It made me in love with Floral Cyphre since then. However, I feel like this fragrance is losing the identity of Miss Dior family. I find it is too strong. Very juicy. I know to be classified as Miss Dior is not solely about chypre but eventhought the original miss dior is quite different from the blooming bouquet but both have seriously good drydown which smells perfectly soft. But this one is a bit stronger than her sisters. I'm not a big fan of fruity scent unless it is soft but still, this perfume has the classy touch. At least that makes Dior has its own pattern as a classy perfume brand. This perfume reminds me of the collaboration of a la folie scents both from lanvin marry me a la folie and givenchy eaudemoiselle rose a la folie but more mature. I find this fragrance is much better to be called as a big sister of salvatore ferragamo signorina in fiore. Well, I do not like it but I guess fruity fans would love to have it one.

Finally got my hands on this lovely little gem

I have the 2 different Miss Dior fragrances: Miss Dior with the mature rose absolute and Blooming Bouquet which is a much lighter fresher softer little citrus floral rose. This one is in between but it's very sweet and fruity more about the raspberry and pomegranate than the florals. The first spritz is delicious berry juice. The pink pepper give it a really tasty vibe and the pomegranate yum. A currant note gives it a touch of booze. This is a cocktail drink and so I will wear it to cocktail parties. Absolutely Blooming matches up with a cocktail dress in cherry red or pink. Very girly. A feminine fruity floral. It doesn't make a statement but who needs to. This is so good! At the dry down some powder and musk pretty much the same dry down of Miss Dior only lighter. Now the price is a bit too much for such a simple fruity floral but it's still something I'm glad I went after and bought.

Since I am a fragrantica lover I have to declare something about this perfume. I have reviewed it twice in the past and this is only a CONFESSION, not a review! I have a lot of time to feel the passion of trying and reviewing a perfume but I can't sit back and just see others.

I have already my collection with some missing bottles but it was about time, I found my taste, likes and not that much. Thank God I have found my signature but this edition of Miss Dior, although I don't love it and it reminds me a lot of Armani Si (lighter and softer) is...my sex perfume.

Yes, everytime I am going to meet someone for some hot stuff, instead of wearing my signature and be inspired or feel free, I wear this one and it works. Nobody have ever complimented me but as Francois Demachy says it's sassy and serious at the same time. Exactly like me and my secret dates. Don't laugh or judge but that's why perfumes are moments and memories. I have a 100 ml bottle of it that I will gladly use and remember it forever.

For those of you who are looking for the actual feeling/notes of it: It's a pure sour fruity perfume, hardly would call it berry-sh but yeah, a lot of musk and a touch of sensual florals with 'sharp' precious woods. Something like Armani Si without that huge juicy character and the aphrodisiac style of La nuit tresor from Lancome. Lasting power is very good, sillage is normal although an EDP.

I'm not a huge fan of Miss Dior and I was pleasantly surprised to fall in love with this version. Sweet (but not too sweet), fruity (but not too fruity), tart (but not too tart).

There are a bunch of ways this perfume could have gone overboard and it avoided every possible misstep.

What a lovely, day fragrance it is.

I had done a lot of research looking for a new perfume that would expand my collection. I tried Miss Dior from reading notes and reviews, but was not moved. Tried AB and was amazed. I love this perfume. The very first notes seemed just a bit sour, and then it calmed to a sweet blend with very clean fruit layered smoothly on top. It is not sugary. I can smell the rose, with the lemony peony complimenting it. I don't get a strong berry scent. The longevity seems good so far, after four hours it hasn't weakened. So happy I bought this!

Oh well,I know that I've already reviewed this one but a review after single test didn't seem to be enough for this beauty.now that it's the new member of my collection I need to talk about it
I'm very lucky because I couldn't afford to buy it right now,I received it in a swap with a lovely perfumista.it's still pretty expensive(a 50ml bottle of it costs 100$)and I couldn't wait for it to become a little cheaper
I love it.this is my first and only love in miss dior line.other ones never passed a simple like but this one, well I'm already dreaming of buying a 100ml backup bottle and I'm the one who believes 30ml is more than enough for most perfumes
Loving miss dior absolutely blooming seems strange for me.I'm not into raspberry-rose fruityflorals and I usually avoid fragrances with black current or pink pepper in their notes list.this one is the most elegant floralfruity I ever had the pleasure of smelling.it's not just a simple, pretty floralfruity.it has right amount of sweetness for me and it's superfeminine.I can detect all the fruit notes and they give it sparkle and freshness without turning it to a fruit flavored air freshener or shampoo or jam or whatever fruity fragrances tend to be.mostly I love absolutely blooming's powdery twist.rose, musk and maybe other notes provide such a powdery quality that first I thought it has iris in it.it doesn't have much of a powder-like texture.I mean resembling makeup by using the term "powdery" here
I believe this isn't a floralfruity for young teenage girls.it's too ladylike and sensual to be girls.it's a floralfruity for adults,at least +25
As much as I smell it,I can see less similarities between this one and armani si(which I recently grow to like it,but that one is much sweeter, less sparkly, less bright and all in all different)
There's another thing to add:believe me this one is queen of complements and positive feedbacks

I really love this perfume and find myself always coming back to it. At first I smell fresh raspberries and pomegranates that meld with the rose and peony. Then every once and a while the black currant comes in to give it a unique character and a tad bit of sweetness. I couldn't recognize that note at first but it makes sense when seeing it in the description.

For a little time, I agree with others that it takes on a hint of a makeup tote, yet a really wonderful one. (So don't be turned off by this description; it smells very feminine/pretty - a hint of powderiness where the fruits still remain to balance it out in a beautiful way.)

Finally on the dry down I get a smooth and soft vanilla warmth that must be created by the musk. Overall it is beautiful. I keep getting subtle hints of the fruit, the flowers and a warm vanilla throughout the day (even though vanilla is not in the description; must be the gentle musk). I love it.

I sometimes get headaches from certain perfumes, but with this one I actually find myself spraying a little bit on before bed or near my pillow, which just puts a smile on my face while I fall asleep.

I'm surprised at the notes because although this does have a fruity scent, it's not juicy in anyway and is actually quite powdery. In fact, it reminds me a lot of Lancôme La Nuit Tresor, only without the smokiness and is less complex, but this fragrance is for sure n the same family. It's a lovely scent, and I do love Dior, but this isn't something I haven't already smelled before.

Update:
I'm really glad I (blind) bought this; it's actually really pretty. I've been wearing it everyday since I got it and I'm enjoying it. I like that you can still smell that signature "miss dior" scent in the background. If you enjoy Miss Dior like myself, try this!

Elizabeth Wonderham (lizzyshreds) on YouTube has a review for this and according to what I smell I'd say her description is pretty dead on.

On me it's sweet and fruity. Very impressive longevity and sillage. Once I put on two spritz and went to work. It was a hot day and I worked in a big warehouse. I was sorting products at one corner and my manager came in from the other side and said:"what smells so good..." Got a lot of compliments from my co-workers that day. I have both Miss Dior EDP and Absolutely Blooming, I personally like the former better but received more compliments with the later.

Does the name make anyone else think of My Fair Lady?
"Oh, so, luvverly sitting *ABSO-BLOOMING-LUTELY* still..."

But whereas "Absolutely Blooming" smells of rose and peony,

Absolutely blooming reminds me on Miss Dior Cherie...
Elegant perfume, the fruity rasberry and flowery rose notes are nicely blended with the musk.
Suitable for a young woman pursuing her dreams. Or at least, that what it reminds me of. :-)
Romantic and enchanting.

Tried it last night and it's completely different with my imaginations
I expected to smell something like dior edp with a dash of sugary sweet raspberry, almost gourmandish but it's totally different
As soon as I sprayed it I could smell a combination of rose, peony, sweet powdery musk and something very lipsticky like a mixture of iris and raspberry.it is sweet but not in a candyish way.it reminded me a very nice-smelling luxurious lipstick, like the ones that smell like rose and a hint of raspberry
I'm not a fan of makeup smelling scents or iris but this was one of the bests in this genre, very elegant, feminine and expensive smelling also modern and youthful.very well balanced and I think there's no need to love very sweet or fruity fragrances to love this one
Also my friend, which is also a perfumista and collectioner said that it smells like the most beautiful makeup bag,she also thought that there might be iris here
I find all miss diors nice but I was never so eager to buy them(I only have a big barely used bottle of new miss dior edp and a mini of vintage miss dior)but this one, absolutely blooming, made me interested so I have to add it to my wishlist
It's one of those perfumes that guarantees a lot of nice comments, men find it superfeminine and women find it elegant
It's wearable year round but better in mild weather(fall and spring)it seems to be longlasting without being a sillage bomb
Gonna write my second review of it in the lovely day that I can put my hands on a bottle for myself
❤❤❤❤

Absolutely Blooming is quite a pretty fragrance. As others have mentioned, this bears no similarity to Blooming Bouquet, but is closer to Miss Dior EDP.

It opens with red berries, which is probably where people are drawing the similarity to Armani Si. However, where Si diverges into rose and woodsy cedar, AB's dry down is a rose and sugared musk.

Miss Dior is heavy on the patchouli, and I don't notice any in Absolutely Blooming, so if you are looking for a sweeter, richer Miss Dior less patchouli, try AB.

I think AB is great for cooler months, for dressier occasions. The lasting power is nearly a whole work day, and sillage is strong (definitely don't over spray this one!)

Overall, I do like it, and will consider buying a small bottle at Sephora.

I will add to my previous review:

If you have actually WORN and gotten to know this perfume, I doubt you'd jump to the overarching statement that it is a knockoff of "Si". It is its own fragrance that - again - captures an essence of a decade and therefore, is in the same family. Many are quick to jump to judgement after one sniff. My suggestion is WEAR this one; it has actually surprised me by unveiling itself even more pleasantly than my initial experiences of it. Getting to know this fragrance was an experience in itself.

I have miss Dior EDP and miss Dior blooming bouquet. Miss Dior absolutely blooming isn't like blooming bouquet at all.it's very little similar to miss Dior and I like it more than other two.longevity and sillage is better too
It's sweet raspberry and other berries with a musky rose add to miss Dior with less patchouli.very lovely and beautiful.it smells like a luxury lipgloss
It's not similar to lancome la vie este belle at all.they are very different.but if you like Yves saint Laurent Mon Paris, armani si,lancome tresor la nuit,Nina ricci extase, kenzo jeau amour elixir, guerlain LA petit robe noir couture, you like miss Dior absolutely blooming too.but miss Dior absolutely blooming is not as sweet as this ones I name.it's less sweet more classy and romantic
It's good for all the year except summer
You can feel you are a young and beautiful and classy and happy and rich girl with it.a princess and I love this kind of perfumes.I don't agree it's just for young girls
Some people think that all new perfumes are like each other but they are not if you live with them.I think old classic perfumes are all the same.because I don't like them and I didnt live with them.fashion changes and if we resist new things there will be no fashion.Perfume is fashion too.some people like classic style some like modern style.both are good. Different styles makes world beautiful so I don't agree Dior had great perfumes in past and bad ones now
I love this new perfume of Dior and I will buy it before spring

Absolutely Blooming is quite heavy and sweet on me. Right after spraying it has an unpleasant sharp note that goes away after about 5 minutes. From that moment on all I get is a mix of raspberry, musk and a little bit of rose.

When I first wore this I was immediately reminded of Britney Spears' Circus Fantasy. Though Circus Fantasy has more musk and floral notes and a sugar note which gives it more variety than Absolutely Blooming.

Absolutely Blooming has good longevity though. It lasts for about 8 hours on me. The sillage is a little too heavy for my taste but I can see how it would work for others. If the scent was less boring and linear than the sillage wouldn't have been an issue. But on me Absolutely Blooming is nothing more than a boring loud raspberry-musk mix that stays present for hours on end. It's a sad bouquet wihout flowers.

I'm glad I only got a mini from Absolutely Blooming and not a full bottle. I don't hate it but there's nothing that makes it stand out to me. So I'm putting it on my dislike list. Why would I waste my time wearing boring perfume when I could be wearing something beautiful?

Got a sample of this from the shop today. I sprayed it on, and was pleasantly surprised by the berry smell that hit me. I thought 'mmmm, a mainline fragrance that stands out a little bit'. Five minutes later and all I get is rose. A strong rose smell. While it's pleasant, I wouldn't actually buy. If you love your rose fragrance, I recommend this.

Feminine, non-offensive, low-key. An office fragrance. While pleasant, it's not for me.

Edit: smelled it again in the shop today. I don't understand why someone would pay this amount of money for a mono perfume. Just get some rose essential oil, it smells exactly the same.

I always wanted to try the Miss Dior scent, but it was rather repulsive to me when I tried it in the department store. Then I found the Blooming Bouquet eau de toilette, my favourite scent ever. However, I felt like the longevity was very weak, especially when applied to the skin. I literally called my friend who works for Dior to let them know that they should make this scent in edp form. It finally happened, I can't wait to get it and review the scent. Hopefully, this one will have better longevity.

As a huge fan of Miss Dior (new) line, and since I've tried everything, even Miss Dior Cherie out of date/discontinued I must say that it's a very interested perfume with a great history. My favorite will always be EDT edition that reminds of Coco Mademoiselle EDP-older edition since nobody admits it's reformulated.

So, Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming, my 2nd review. It's a gourmandise perfume but not really. Gourmandise-floral is the right category for it. I will accept a reviewer's opinion about cherry-menthol candies but that's the try of a huge sillage. Nobody will come so close to have this smelling result. It's like caramelized iris in La vie est belle-Lancome, Osmanthus in Flowerbomb-V&R etc. Let's be more specific now.

It's a musky powder of red berries that reminds a bit the original new Miss Dior without patchouli. Can't detect pink pepper, peony or pomegranate but because of strong cassis it's so similar, almost identical to Armani's Si EDP. The one more oriental and juicy and this more fruity simple. It hasn't any common part with Blooming Bouquet. The only thing they share is poor sillage and lasting power although this is an EDP. Ok, it's the 'gourmandise' edition of Miss Dior but I am not very sure everyone will like it. For sure it's ideal for every age and what I like is it's sweet character. There's no sillage but if someone comes very close to your neck will smell something very 'I wanna kiss you'. So, romantic, ideal for dates, versatile for ages and maybe best use during summer as it's more simple.

A little bit disappointed from Franchois Demachy, it's creator. Don't expect a stronger Blooming Bouquet or a new Miss Dior Cherie. Expect a sibling of Armani Si with a softer and more romantic, naughty result. I know being honest wouldn't give me balloons but that's my personal opinion and only. Try it and you'll see. Unfortunately it has a place on my dislike list but fortunately a 100 ml bottle is on my collection. By watching the official site and video review of it in Dior's site, you'll notice that notes here aren't correct. Cassis, a touch of strawberry are missing from fragrantica's notes. Cheers!

I LOVE this. I'm in a phase of Sofia Coppola worship so I adore all her ads for Miss Dior (I know the Absolutely Blooming campaign was not shot by her, but the general aesthetics and vibe of her approach carry on so I feel it counts), but I missed the original 2005 iteration too much to really fall hard for any of the subsequent reformulations or flankers. Then, the genre of laundry-musk-and-fruity-pink-pepper-patchouli concoctions seemed to fade to make way for the next really notable trend of gourmand sweeties, and I flitted from YSL's Black Opium to Lancome La Vie Est Belle to Giorgio Armani Si to find the one I LOVED best. Si seemed like the best option as I adored the sweet-sugar-dusted-fruit aspect of the scent but the blackcurrant in the top was just too much - ENTER MISS DIOR ABSOLUTELY BLOOMING. Sweet and sugary, but crisp enough to recall the more refined chypres of the Miss Dior line. Everything from the bottle to the gorgeous brilliant shell-pink of the juice is beautiful, classic. And I might add, I just got back from a trip to Paris and THIS gorgeous ad for this delightful perfume was pretty much the only one I saw advertised on boards throughout the city. It's impossible not to feel chic about that.

This is the first spray of La Vie Est Belle. It definitely has less of a caramel tinge than Armani Si. It doesn't have the synthetic patchouli drydown of either of these fragrances. It's just more natural overall, but definitely not too special. It's nice though if you've been searching for a fruity scent. I don't smell rose.
Edit: Actually, the fragrance becomes more rosy as it dries down. The berries blend with the flower to make a darker rose scent (that's still very fruity) .

This is a special one for me... I got a little card in my magazine and it was love at first sniff. I don't own and Miss Dior fragrances. I almost got Miss Dior for my Birthday, but opted for another bottle of Prada Candy. This scent most definitely smells gourmand to me. I do smell peony, a favorite of mine and berries. Another favorite. It's not overly sweet or cloying. It has excellent lasting power too.
I'm getting sick of people talking new fragrances down. Fragrances change with the times. Just like anything else. I know there are many timeless classics as well. All I know is I wear , Flowerbomb, Prada Candy, Armani Si, Ralph Lauren Tender Romance, La Vie Est Belle, Black Opium, YSL Mon Paris, Jimmy Choo, and more. Yes, you can say they all have notes in common and similarities. But how can I complain, when men I don't even know stop to ask me what I'm wearing or even tell me how good I smell? I will continue to keep wearing these scents. Oh and a dirty secret of mine is I've been wearing Victoria's Secret "Amber Romance " since high school and it drives men insane.

Tested this today. This s quite fresh I think. I thought it would be sticky sweet but it isn't. Berries and rosy notes. I smell a lot of woodiness, a bit like cashmeran but not so suffocating. And on my skin I feel there's some patchouli too. And amber at the bottom.
The weather is cool and I like this more than I expected. On warm weather this could be sweet and too much for me.
I have to think about getting a bottle. This was a quite nice surprise.
Now that I look how most of reviewers smell this I feel like I'm wearing totally different perfume...

Edit: When I spray generously the peony stands out very strong. I get no cassis at all.

Question: are we sure this one does not include any patchouli and/or amber among the notes? I stole some spritzes about two hours ago and at this stage, well, I suspect the notes above are not complete. I bet it must have at least one of the two staple features of the standard Miss Dior/Miss Dior Le Parfum.

I got a sample of this from Sephora. Figured I owed it to myself to pick something fancy. Smelling just the bottle, this smelled sweet and fresh. Not too heavy but youthful. Before using my sample, I did buy and fall in love with Miss Dior EDP, famed for its beauty and class.

This morning I wanted a light perfume and grabbed Absolutely Blooming. I liberally applied and ran to work. In the car ride, I noticed a strong opening that I had smelled before and couldn't place. I knew it had to like something I already owned but it wasn't Miss Dior so I couldn't figure it out. As soon as I checked the fragrantica page, I realized it has quite a similarity to Armani Si (and a little bit Si Rose Signature since that basically just regular Si with a quickly fading top note of rose).

Both fragrances are sweet and have a particular note in common, however, Si is balanced by a sexy base as some amount of spiciness. Absolutely Blooming is just sweet. It's not balanced. It doesn't have a good base to complement the fruity floral. At first spray, it's stop and overpowering. As it dries down, it completely fades away to nothing. The longevity is terrible. It's been only two hours since I applied and most of the scent I gone. All I can smell now is currant and pepper with some sugary sweetness. It really smells like body spray now. I don't know why fragrantica lists this has being woody because there isn't a single woody note.

I don't recommend this fragrance. I do instead recommend Si. Anyone who's interested, get a sample to make sure this will last on you as long as you desire. Too expensive to be a regretted fragrance.

Just Lovely!! I walked into Sephora and asked, "What's your favorite new scent" to the pretty, glam fragrance lady. She quickly said, "Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming"! I browsed a bit then went back to it. I must say, it's surprising that I really love this, considering I'm not a big fan of the "CD Blooming Bouquet". On my skin, it's a creamy blend of vanilla, roses and musk. Realizing there is no vanilla here, it just emphasizes the richness of this blend. It is very reminiscent of Armani, "Si" but minus the heavy Patchouli. For me this is a plus since patch usually comes forward on my skin and overwhelms. The fragrance is warm, sexy and lingering for hours on the skin. It smells and feels very complex to be so simply blended. Perhaps sometimes, less is really more!

I love the juicy berries in this Dior offering, but as a whole it's quite derivative of so many other things on the market. I have a hard time resisting red berries though, it's a like not a love but one that I will definitely wear.

This smells scrumptious. And not in the overly cloying, heavy, sugared way. If you love Hot Couture EDT, you will have a party. Speaking of which, this is completely appropriate for both daytime and night. Givenchy's gem also had this edge. However, if Hot Couture is the sorbet, this is the gelato (HC is more powdery).

I can see how others are comparing it to its contemporaries, but that's what they are. Contemporaries. This is a current scent. It captures the fruity-gourmandesque essence of the 2010's. Also, smelling it out of the bottle does not suffice; the rose blooms as the scent melts into your skin. But it's the base note that lends it rhythm...a white musk that is coy yet sensual. For an elegant woman who isn't afraid to be the first one dancing.

Very nice, but a little heavy on the fruit notes for me. (Just personal preference). Probably folks who go in for berry scents will love this. The floral notes are lovely. I noticed though, that the longevity leaves much to be desired.

I get a very strong Giorgio Armani Si- vibe, but without patchouli.
Since I own Si and when I smelled this I thought to myself HOW BORING...... I mean if one owns Si and smells this it is just such a letdown.

I will add that it is pleasant, and save. BUT the price one pays for pleasant and save can, at times, be quite shocking.

bright sweet flowery fruity vibe, yes it is a blooming type of flowers but it is not enough to say "absolutely blooming", just my opinion.one thing that I thought was to Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming is the flanker of La Colle Noire. I say this one is sweeter version of La Collection Noire in Prevee line, i checked the notes are listed and they shared few similar notes. After an hour , it close close close to Miss Dior EDP, BTW, I love the scent very much.

This one was a good surprise. I was not expecting much, but it is very nice. It is nothing original, but it is very well made. It is feminine, elegant and young.
I get a soft mix of berries, flowers and musk. Everything is very well blended.
The rose is not proeminent, and i like it that way, because i am not a big fan of rose fragrances.
Overall it is sweet and upbeat, with an impressive Sillage.

All I get is a rasberry scent, thats it! I sprayed it on 5 hours ago and it's Not developing at all. I've been sniffing my arm hoping for middle or bottom notes to kick in, but thats not going to happen anytime soon. It's a chemical rasberry note too, not pleasant at all. I've had this problem with other perfumes with rasberry in it and this perfume made me realise rasberry just doesn't fit my skin. For me this has the same opening as Versace Bright Crystal, but atleast that one gets better after a few minutes.

I'm not getting the comparison to Armani Si, LVEB, flowerbomb and whatever other fragrance you guys are comparing AB to. All of the above are fruit/floralchoulis? And personally I don't like them at all. Nothing, and I mean nothing is special about them. This on the other hand is quite beautiful and special and definitely more complex.

Also if AB was ANYTHING SIMILAR to Armani Si, LVEB, and Flowerbomb they all would be included in my collection. Actually I have owned Flowerbomb and LVEB for a very short Stent and returned them both because they were BORING..... but not this little gem. I have purchased AB twice. The first a 50 ml the second bottle a 100ml. So yeah, it must be love :-D

I love this fragrance and it is imo nothing like the ones people are comparing it to. For one it is very classy, sophisticated even. Any age group can pull it off if they like it.
Stating that it's suitable for females 15-22 yr Old is like stating Chanel No5 is suitable for 80-100+ yr old women. It just doesn't make since to put an age on a fragrance. Mark my words if a 15-22 yr old female stated Chanel No5 was "old lady" the balloons would never show up and their review would be like casper(disappear).

P.S I'm a newly turned 40 yr old and wear this really well. People love it

Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming by Christian Dior smells like a woody-musk bubblegum! Sweet raspberry, lush rose, and semi-spicy black current. The peony keeps this smelling fresh and the pomegranate adds a tart kick without being too astringent. Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming is young and sweet smelling. I think it will be a huge hit for the 15-22 age range this winter. This is a really lovely fragrance, but it is not scoring any originality points since it is in the same vein of fragrances such as Flowerbomb, Armani’s Si, and La Vie Est Belle. On the Brightside, if you enjoy those fragrances this definitely worth a try!

I’ve never been a fan of Dior fragrances when I’ve smelled them on paper – they’ve always hit me as being heavy and heady and sharp. And this one was no different … at least on paper. As a room spray it was also pretty off-putting. (I sprayed it once in my car after someone had a cigarette and it was almost worse than the smoke!) But when I spray it on my skin, something interesting happens. First I get that whiff of alcohol, but within minutes it mellows to a really sweet berry note - almost like sugared jam. Built onto that is a lovely fresh rose scent – not a powder bomb, but a garden rose with dew still clinging to its leaves, freshly plucked alongside pink peony with a touch of pepper. I get a whisper of white musk just under the surface, warming the other sweet notes to my skin. Now I think I may have been too harsh in my Dior bashing of days past. While on paper this is another non-descript fruity floral mish-mash with a slap-in-the-face quality, the effect on my actual wrist is soothing and sweet, not sneezy or headache-inducing. I want to say they’ve made good use of the rose note, but I’d like more of it, since I noticed it faded quickly and I mainly just got berries and musk after the first hour. I will say it’s strong at first – one spray rubbed between both of my wrists was enough to garner a comment from some ladies sitting 20 feet from me outside (a good comment) - BUT IT DOESN'T LAST LONG. On me, within the first two hours, it just faded to a close skin scent. Sweet, mild, and very pleasant, but hardly noticeable. But my main verdict is that it’s still very pretty. This would go over best in warmer weather, I think, but it could work as a catch-all fragrance just about any time. It’s fall and I’m enjoying wearing it now. I don’t love it enough to buy a bottle - and the dubious longevity knocks it out of the running for a spot on my vanity - but it's very pretty, and I like it enough to keep using what I have.

I need to get me a full bottle of this juice! It's gorgeous, everything I love in a perfume. It's along the same lines as La Nuit, Si, LVEB... all the ones I adore. Slightly gourmand, but with a little more complexity to it.

It does have a more 'classy' vibe to it than the others though, you can definitely tell it's a Miss Dior flanker imo, it has a similar undertone to the original weirdly. Are we sure there's no patch in this.....?

My sample is still going very strong, almost smelling as strong as when it was first sprayed over an hour ago! I can see it being a real compliment getter too, as it's a very noticeable scent. This is gonna be hugely popular I think....

Very similar to 'Poison Girl', another headache inducer. Overly sweet, sharp. So far the worst of 'Miss Dior' collection. I'm not a big fan of the 'Miss Dior' collection, but I really like Miss Dior Le Parfum and Miss Dior Cherie L`Eau (discontinued), which are way better creations than this 'Absolutely Blooming' and 'Poison Girl'

I believe Miss Dior Le Parfum is the best version of 'Miss Dior' on the market at the moment. Although I didn't like when it first came out, I guess I was too young (23) back then. It is indeed a unique breed in the 'Miss Dior' family. The rest are way too generic, or you can say, boring. Miss Dior Le Parfum is very suitable to wear during the cold season and night time, but way too strong for hot climate like Queensland. If I ever move to a colder area, I'll definitely consider it.

This perfume is absolutely divine! Opening is very similar to la vie est belle, hence the black currant. It develops into a fruity, rosey and musky scent. I wasn't impressed and a bit disappointed the first time I tested it because Miss Dior Chérie was my signature scent for 3 years before they discontinued it and I moved on to Blooming bouquet. I tested absolutely blooming a few times more, fell in love and bought a bottle. Like the other reviews were stating, give it a fair chance! Lasting power is up to 9 hours on my skin + it's a great compliment getter. ;-)

Yesterday I got an email with invitation to the nearest Dior counter for a complimentary sample. I visited two today and unfortunately at both places they were out of stock (let's say I believed;)) At the first counter the girl offered to spray it on paper and when I got a sniff and said it's quite similar to regular Miss Dior she said "it's sweeter". She repeated it twice and her face suggested she wasn't much fond of it...
I am sniffing this paper now and can see that Dior is planning to win back or just steal all lovers of Si or maybe LVEB, too. It is very, very sweet with the same kind of sweetenes you can find in Si with echo of Miss Dior Cherie. There's a note of rose and some red fruits.
Won't shed a tear for not receiving a free sample today.
Uptade: on the next day the paper smells quite like CK Euphoria, the very first pre-reformulated 2005 version. It took me nearly all day to find why I can smell Euphoria in the sitting room if I hasn't been using it for months now!

Update+I want to make another review because:
I wore it a couple times and then I wore something else much fresher than sweeter fragrances and now @Germany I now why say about SOAP+ROSE.
There is the rose but this time this rose is a soapy veeery soapy rose.
Which I absolutely love that this is in every day and in every weather something else.WHY??When I wore it in hot weather it was soo sweet and fruity a copy of La Nuit Tresor than the weather change and now we have cold outside-than it was suprisingly a totally different scent. There was the Miss Dior scent(lot of patchouli + a little Coco Mademoiselle patchouli) BUT with a lot of red fruits and raspberry and the soapy rose(in the dry down).I was shoked but I love it.It was something new and something incredible.
Everybody have to try it on the skin and in every season maybe?OK-in every weather. You would be suprised how different this scent is.Very very well balanced and with a twist in it which Demachy I don't now how but DID IT AGAIN.This scent going to be a masterpiece one day.
+The sillage and longevity-I'M SHOCKEEEEED......BRUTAL.It last more than 1day on the skin.Absolutely Incredible.
This is luxury when your perfume last for the (lot of) money you pay for it and you enjoy it.
1000X Kisses everybody.❤❤❤

It does remind me on Miss Dior Cherie, which was my first perfume love. Based on that, ahh, cannot express my appraciation. The wonderful smell of flowers, berries, rose, patchuli. Great sillage, longevity. This is the smell of dreams. Finally, Dior, thanks for making up for that horrible feeling when I realized I can never buy Miss Dior Cherie and I never had it. The first time I smelled this, it reminded me of DKNY MYNY (which I LOVE, but it has since been discontinued). It's definitely sweeter, but smells similar for sure.

Staying power is pretty good, and the sillage is awesome. I could smell it on myself easily. I think it smells nothing like Blooming Bouquet, which I think AB was supposed to be a more intense, longer lasting version of.

This isn't typically my thing, but I feel the need to share how this is the ultimate compliment getter! I've never gotten this many compliments in one day. EVER. This is Absolutely Delicious.Whoaaa
I have to say that this is nothing like the other flanker´s but now people dislike it but when one day Dior discontinued this, people start to say that this was a pure masterpiece like Miss Dior Chérie, something sweet and fun but with depth and power.
I don´t know I´m a silly but there is no rose and this is NOT a blooming, floral scent, and sure there are missing a lot of notes like vanilla, caramel, praline, something sweet.
I absolutely LOVE IT,because it remind me La Nuit Trésor(on me of course),which I adore so this scent is amazing for me.
The opening was however sooo fizzy and sparkling I get a lot of raspberry and than the dry down is the opposite it´s very sweet, heavenly creamy a little fruity.
The sillage and the longevity is amaaaazing, and the bottle is uuuufh lovely.
Sure I´m in LOVE.Forever love.

This perfume doesn't impress me. It's missing everything that Miss Dior is about. It's just very basic raspberry scent in base notes and barely there scent in top notes.

Beyond the notes listed by the brand, a delicate iris comes after the fruity opening. The basenotes are more ambery and woody.

Just tested this at Coin stores in Italy and I'm so happy to say that I find it DIVINE!
It opens a lot like La Nuit Tresor but it is fruitier the sweetness ia all there but it's done in such a classy way.It smells a lot like Miss Dior Le parfum to me only sweeter frankly I find it gorgeous, very solid scent.
It bears no resemblance to Blooming Bouquet this version is a very thick combo of sweet berries and rose. It's a floral gourmand and it's going strong even after two hours I've been spraying it on the back of my hand.
On paper it smells sweet and very dry but on skin it's just terrific.Def my next purchase.

Not every perfume has to be groundbreaking, sometimes it is enough that it smells, well...nice. AB reminds me of LVEB at first sniff, however, it is definitely lighter and more fruity than LVEB. AB puts me in a good mood and when something puts me in a good mood, I tend to want to keep it around. Perhaps this will be my next perfume purchase, or perhaps I will hold off until I come across something that is truly groundbreaking. Until then, I will have no qualms about walking into my local Sephora and asking for another sample of Absolutely Blooming.

This one smells kind of like Si or LVEB, but without the patchouli of Si or the pralines of LVEB, which makes it infinitely more tolerable for me. I'm not sold on it completely, but it's developing in an interesting manner on my skin. I get a powdery vibe at first spray that causes a need to clear my throat a little (like I inhaled dusting powder), but as it's settling I'm getting the sweetness of the red berries (this almost smells like an upscale version of the first Ed Hardy to be honest). Hmm, I think I'll have to investigate this further as the fall/winter comes because it might become too overwhelming in heat and in the mid-west where I am we're still hitting into the 90's. Will definitely retest as we cool down to see if that changes things up a little, but all in all, not a fragrance that is making me a cringe (a happy change for me, LOL).

I suddenly saw it. A friend of mine did a blindbuy-gift for me since he knows I love Miss Dior line and EDP edition is my signature. I would say I pretty like almost all the editions but this...why?

My advice? Never and I mean never do a blind buy. Buying a perfume without testing on skin, even on paper, is like jumping from an airplane without a parachute! Who said that this is close to Miss Dior Cherie? Not even for a joke. The only closest to it is EDP edition and again it's less complex, more 'serious' and simple.

First smell and you know what I said? Armani Si! Absolutely Blooming belongs to the trend: Armani Si, Lancome Tresor la nuit, something sirupy, heavy and expensively gourmandise-like type of perfumes for 'matures'. A dissapointment and now I am with an 100 ml bottle haha. I know how it is before I even have it on my collection. At least I know how the explosion of cassis smell. Can you believe that instead of spraying it on my skin I prefered to spray EDT edition and just go the gate to fly?

We were so close and I rejected it. A friend here said, don't judge it so fast, try it. I'll do it if you're reading my review now. I'll try it on my skin and try to rock it. I always wanted a perfume of this type and it happened to be Miss Dior. No problem. I'll say thank God since La nuit tresor impressed me like hell, but it's so feminine, so dressy that I dislike smelling it from a sporty girl to a classy-outfited one. Exactly like La vie est belle and to end with Armani Si is so intense and a little bit of too much, not bad though. Promise to update soon my newest Miss Dior and let you know! <3

p.s: Someone must fix the notes! They are wrong. At least by Franchois Demachy, it's perfumer, we find: Bulgarian rose, centifolia rose, red berries, strawberry, cassis (the leaf not the actual blackcurrant like a fruit). People think they will smell a gourmandise/fruity pleasure and they get an 'bluh' feeling. By Dior it's a playful, a not well behaved person you want to bite due to it's special kind of sweetness.

Update: As you can see, it didn't take me that long to review on skin. I am in love with Miss Dior. From first snif I find AB an intense version of Armani Si without it's extremely sickly fruity/sweet blast, then after no more than 10' I can detect patchouli that just comes to say a hello so it becomes a softer edition of the aphrodisiac elixir Lancome La nuit tresor and then guess what. Ta daaan, patchouli fades away and musky base hold the composition of Miss Dior EDP no.2. Yeap, I mean it, it's exactly the same with Miss Dior EDP, it's like they have just watered it down and added pink color to the juice. There's only a hint of red berries but not really. Berries for me are 'sprarkling' and juicy. They bring happiness, at least to me. I have a feeling Mr. Francois was enchanted by Natalie Portamn and in a way he could be with her again and kiss her cheak, he just kept the same formula, weakend patchouli, made musk a protagonist and finished with a hidden red fruit/cassis touch. At least he is a master in perfumes. I trust his taste and I recognize that AB changes by time, but where's creativity Mr. Demachy? To end with, AB's lasting power is not as good as EDP (new) and sillage follows the same level, but there comes an extremely addictive sweetness in the air if you got it some hours after wearing, better than LNT and more natural. I'll stick with the original. Don't mess with it. ;)

- Someone said Halls cherry caramels for neck relieving, I agree, it reminds of that note La vie est belle-Lancome has to give power to the perfume.
- It's just a sister of Armani's Si and it just reminds of Tresor la nuit-Lancome. The aphrodisiac nectar smell is missing. Here we deal with a playful character not a STRONG woman.
- I always wanted TLN or to love one from Armani's Si line but I smell it almost everywhere and not that I dislike it, but I want to smell it more rarely and on special occasions. From a woman that goes to shop something quickly from the supermarket to the one that goes to work early in the morning. Anyway.
- Thank God again, I'll have a perfume from a family-type that all of us must have, seductive, special and sweet. I love Dior recently and I will use the whole bottle to the end for the first of my life. I hope that I'll have only good memories wearing it. My 3rd year in Med School starts soon.

This smells nothing like the original Blooming Bouquet. I was seriously hoping this to be a stronger, longer-lasting version of Blooming Bouquet (weak, but smells so good and I have yet to find anything remotely similar) but this is way too sweet for me and I agree with reviewers below saying it has lost its freshness. The berries smell too cough syrupy to me (actually reminds me a lot of Parlez-Moi d’Amour by John Galliano). I'm quite surprised that there's no patchouli note listed because I swear that's what's giving me a headache. On the plus side, the bottle and juice is beautiful (as usual) and the longevity is amazing. I could still smell it on my wrist the next morning after a shower!

I just got this perfume today, blind bought it, the 50ml, and I just love this perfume, more than Blooming Bouquet, and Poison Girl. To me first impression this would be a great evening / date night perfume for fall. For me this is a mix of slight gourmand, and the right amount of floarl's to balance out this perfume. I feel like the white musk adds balance to this perfume. I will do a full review on Youtube this upcoming week when I have the time. Overall I give this a perfume a 9/10, because it's not too light, or too heavy, it's just right it's in between. One spray in upper 80's weather will do just fine trust me. I would say the silage is beyond average in 80's weather. Also I agree with Musky's comment below me this is a toned down version of La Nuit Tresor, and maybe that's why I like it so much.

Smells to me like Dior's take on La Nuit Tresor, but with added candied berries on top, making it very sweet. It gets better at the musky dry-down stage but really this isn't nearly as sexy or interesting as La Nuit Tresor, in my opinion.

Lately, it seems like most perfume houses are releasing their own interpretation of a fruity floral. While the new line up from Dior admittedly smells similar to most fruity florals in the market, it also manages to stand out with its quality ingredients and expert crafting. It opens with a fresh but sweet burst of berries but I couldn’t particularly discern one fruit from another. It’s uniquely blended in a youthful and yet mature way. The bubbly top notes make way to a floral heart soon thereafter. Peony is the shining flower here with a hint of red rose peeking through every now and then. This particular phase is a great representation of the whole of the composition; a true chameleon that playfully vacillates between sweet fruits and velvety flowers. There’s also a significant amount of clean musk that all but cements this fragrance. Two sprays on my clean skin filled the whole room and lasted 12+ hours! I sort of agree with the negative reviews that say, “meh… smelled this before…” However, I urge you to look at this twice and really see it for what it is. Almost all perfume houses release their own interpretation of a signature perfume, a fruity floral, a masculine version, or even soliflores, etc. Each perfumer has their own ideas about what a particular note should smell like. For example, while Annick Goutal’s Rose Absolue is a tender amalgamation of multitudes of roses from all over the world with no other notes, Stella McCartney’s Rose Absolute is an amber-laden power house. I don’t see how one is greater than the other besides in the eye of the beholder. In the same token, dismissing either Annick Goutal or Stella McCartney for an attempt at recreating a rose fragrance would seem a bit harsh. Has it been done before? Yes. Should it be done again? Heck yes! :) Despite the use of popular fruity and floral notes in it, Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming is much more sensual, textured, and powerful than most fruity florals I’ve tried. Even the strictest gourmand lovers might be able to enjoy this delicate but opulent creation. Give it a fair chance.

A punchy, super-sweet berry with some peony also yelling for attention. If Blooming Bouquet is pretty, this is PRETTY in an in-your-face kind of way. I get a blast of notes that remind me of those little red Swedish berry candies, along with some deep florals.

I can see why they added it to the Miss Dior line, but it is my least favourite of the bunch. Having said that, I'll give it a couple more tests- maybe during winter this would smell more crisp than the uber-sweet tones I get during this sweltering Toronto summer.

A very intense, sweet smelling perfume. Reminds me of Prada's Candy. It almost smells of caramel or toffee. Very, VERY different to Blooming Bouquet - much more sweeter and fruitier (lost the freshness).

Not a massive fan of fruity perfumes but this is on another level. It's an intense glamorous sweet gourmand fragrance, very sexy and on first spray get a blast of red berries (raspberry is very prominent) and peony is also very prominent, the dry down is exactly the same just with rose and musk to hold it all together in the most beautiful way. I tend to lean more towards scents with raspberry in them as it works really well with my skin chemistry, Tom fords tuscan leather being one of my favorites!

Don't let the fruity/gourmand vibe put you off though, Yes it's strong, Yes its intense but it also has a very expensive smell, trust me people will know the difference, this is in no way shape or form tacky. I sprayed this on at 3pm, it's now 1am and this is still going strong, the same scent still very noticeable, and when i say something is strong and intense i really mean it's STRONG AND INTENSE, The juice color matches the scent too, very dark pink kind of like an elixir which shows it's potency, it's Definitely a night fragrance, perfect for date nights or going to the club as this will last you through the night!

So the bottom line is if you wanna smell fabulous as f**k and get noticed, Absolutely blooming is the way to go!

Eau de cough drop :( Halls Cherry throat lozenge.

Huge disappointment for me. I was hoping for a stronger, less airy version of Blooming Bouquet. This is seriously just Givenchy's Hot couture with patchouli added.

This is one of the first fruity perfumes that's really knocked it out of the park with me. It smells so luxurious and expensive! Dominant black currant, pomegranate and raspberry make for a tart, unusual and sophisticated fruit cocktail. The musk is soooo smooth, truly a perfect base. There's definitely rose and peony in the heart but they are nuanced and help bind together the rest of the notes. It almost has hints of a sour candy...but don't get me wrong, it's much more expensive smelling and really unique. I can't stop sniffing!

UPDATE: longevity is awesome. 8+hours and still going strong!

Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming is gorgeous. At first whiff I knew this fragrance had the potential to become my signature scent. It is a very fruity yet mature and to me it shares a resemblance to Lancome Tresor Midnight Rose, but with way more musk. Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming has a creamy vibe, almost as if it was a body butter. This fragrance doesn't change at all through out the day; what you smell during the initial spray is what you get for the next 6-8 hours or so. My nose detects Raspberry, Black currant, peonies, roses, and a whole lot of musk to give it that creamy touch. I don't get the pink pepper, and the pomegranate is hidden amongst the tangy raspberry. 5/5 fragrance for me!

I expected more floral and musky but it is gourmand fruity and too much. More close to other Miss Diors(maybe that without Patchouli) not BB. Dry parts are quite similar with Poison Girl which has sharp woody vibe and gourmand.

Didn't like this one at all. It is sweet and starts with black current and berries, very much like Si, and quite pleasant. But after 5-10 minutes a new note starts to come out - something spicy, like cloves mixed with pepper. And I just can't stand it. I like cloves smell on my pickles alright, but in perfume? Nope.
Also, it is nothing alike the Blooming Bouquet. I hoped for a stronger version of that, but it is definitely not it.
Not a safe blind buy. Also, quite boring - nothing to stand out from the myriad of other sugary sweet fruity smells.

The words in the capitals to me sums this fragrance up , that's why I enlarged them ,the overall feel so to say ,,,
I should really wait to write a review , it's always best after several days of wearing a fragrance just so you get the real feel for it. I always find the best test of a fragrance when you get to smell it on someone else ,,,And that hasn't happened yet ,,
To me absolutely blooming is a CHEERFUL sexier version than the regular blooming which is just very clean ,floral to me. I own it but don't wear it much. This one is nicer as I like my fragrances a little sweeter. By no means do I find this fragrance very sweet though and the main accords on the top right don't mention sweet like they do when a fragrance really is sweet. I do find it bordering on the SWEET side but I find it much more FRESH than sweet and that is why I don't quite love it. I like it but it's just a little too FLORAL ,too fresh and a little too SHARP for my liking. It's almost like a CHANEL to me it has that ELEGANCE to it, that sharpness or that FIZZ that I could do without. THat CHAMPAGNE feel.
To me it's a little like a SOAP a ROSE soap. I wish this had more of a base , like patch or amber , like mon Paris I suppose .
I smell mainly rose , PEONY and MUSK , the berries are there to give it that hint of sweetness which is very nice but just mainly fresh laundry notes , fresh BATH soapy notes ,,,nice fragrance , glad I have it and will wear it in the summer for sure ,but come winter this is not round and deep enough for me.
In terms of lasting , it's nice quality with good longevity. I could smell a hint when I woke up this morning. And it was very peasant.

What's amazing about human nature is that everyone's sensory processing is different. You don't find Absolutely Blooming sweet. Some others will agree, and some won't. You can't tell if anyone is off in their perception since yours is the only nose you can use and smell with. Everyone seems to respect your opinion on Absolutely Blooming. Please respect that not everyone will smell it the same way you do though.

Oh I am plenty calm, thank you !! Just don't want potential buyers to think it is overly sweet, because it isn't really!! Compared to Blooming Bouquet, it is sweeter, compared to Miss Dior Cherie, it is less sweet..nothing more, nothing less!!

One of the best in the Miss Dior line, and I love it! People are calling this a 'flanker of a flanker' as the last release was "Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet" but I have to tell you, those 2 scents really only share the name "blooming", the rest is completely different.
This opens like a sweet waxy lipstick scent...then warms up into a rose/musk/pink pepper combination that's to die for. There isn't any patchouli in the official note matrix, but I can smell it, just a hint! It gives it a warm base for everything to rest on, makes it a little earthier, and it lasts A LOT LONGER and is more potent than it's predecessor "Blooming Bouquet". I got 15 hours from 2 sprays.
This scent is rich and glamorous on my skin, and I am so glad I grabbed the 100ml bottle. Well worth it! A+

@genny17 Calm down, lol! You already wrote a review. I'm not sure why you felt the need to write a second one to disagree with those of us who don't like this fragrance? Fragrance is a personal experience. On me Absolutely Blooming is tart, sharp, sweet and smells a lot like a Si flanker. It's much sweeter than any of the Cherie and a lot less pleasant to wear. I do not like it and many other people will not either. You don't find it this way on your skin, good for you its nice to find a fragrance you love, but it doesn't change the way others experience it. Try not to take it personally, lol!

I have to disagree!! Absolutely Blooming is sweeter than Blooming Bouquet, yes, with the addition of berries, but it is less sweet than all the CHerie..it is fresher, brighter, and more floral too! It isnt so much a gourmand floral oriental like Si either..
I feel Mon Paris is more like Si...Absolutely Blooming has a freshness those smooth gourmand dont have..in my opinion!

I like most of the new Miss Dior lineup from recent years for when I'm feeling girly and wanting something more mainstream. Blooming Bouquet has been the only total "pass" for me until this one. This one smells like super sugary fruit. Just too much sweetness to my nose. If you like Armani Si (EDP) and stuff like that this may be for you. My favorite Miss Diors are the classic original version, Eau Fraiche and L'eau. The least sweet ones. I like Cherie also though and Le Parfum but prefer the others. To my nose, this is the sweetest of all of them and I'm just not big on modern fruity florals. This bottle is gorgeous though. But if you like sweet fruity florals you will probably like this a lot!

Way too much currant for me. It's very sharp and tangy. The note pyramid here is accurate. I pick up sharp, tart, sweet red berries and fruit. The pomegranate adds a bit of high end lipstick smell in the background. The pink peoper is not strong, but it's there with its soft spiciness. It's sharp, tart, sweet, a little spicy, a lot musk. It's feminine but the right guy could pull it off very well because I always think currant based scents work so well on men. It has a freshness to it I wasn't expecting. I think it could work quite well in warm weather due to this, but can also work well in cold weather because of the subtle, soft spice. The florals are noticeable but they are not as dominant as the currant.

This is one of those scents that smells a little different in the air than it does right up on the skin. In the air it seems softer and sweeter with wafts of sugared musks. Up close its very tart and the currant overwhelms me. I feel like this could be a flanker for Si by Armani. It has none of the pine forest or chocolate feel of Si but it does have the tart, sweet berries and soft musk.

I was hoping for something a little closer to the original Miss Dior Cherie and I'm not a currant fan at all so take this into consideration when reading my review. If you love that note then you will probably really love this scent. It's pretty enough and well done, but for me it's a dislike. Too close to some version of Si and too far away from my beloved Miss Dior Cherie. Luckily I still have two mostly full 3.4oz bottles of the original Miss Dior Cherie because, much to my disappointment, Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming is not the new love affair I had hope for.

Well, darn, this has turned into scrubber for me. I "absolutely" can't do this much Rose and black currant.

Love it!!! It is to me what Mon Paris should have been!! Intoxicating smell, reminds me a lot of miss Dior Cherie, although Absolutely Blooming is in a way not as sweet, it has more nuances, the berries are delicious, giving the rose a soft sweet edge, the base is warm, but the overall tone of this perfume is delicious!! Without being a youngish concoction, love it great quality, this is so different from the first version, this is more intense, longer lasting, and so much more interesting! Blooming bouquet pales in comparison!! This is highly addictive!!
Another great creation by Demachy!

Hi! I actually got this on Ebay from someone in New York who works for Dior. I paid $74 shipped for 1 ounce - perhaps a little high but worth it to me! You could try Ebay but ask them for the serial no. etched on the back of the bottle (hard to see) and check the number at checkcosmetics.net. Hope that helps! :)

This is DIVINE!! I am a gourmand fruity-candy scent lover and this is sooo awesome! When I first sprayed it I thought it smelled aome what like Tresor Lumineuse and Tresor La Nuit only La Nuit done BETTER! La Nuit smells like an awful clash, a cacophony of fruits and florals - as much as I wanted to love it I just didn't care for it at all. Absolutely Blooming, however is sooo delicious - it's not listed but it smells as if it has praline, caramel and vanilla and then the red berries come thru - FABULOUS!! I was going to use this as a Spring/Summer scent but this has a touch of spiciness to it so I think it could be used year round. If you are a lover of fruity candy gourmands as I am give this a try!!

Wath is the differents now a days between a Dior and a much more less expensive fragrance? I can't imagine that a fragrance with only four ingrediënts will be longlasting. The ingrediënts that make a scent longlasting are not available. The musk will not do the trick. But you have to pay the price only because it is Dior. How long will we do that?

@AuroraMaria~ I had the same experience with Blooming Bouquet. It is beautiful scent, but had vanished from, both, the test paper and my wrist before I could test a second Dior fragrance. I am so hopeful that this will evoke the same feeling of adoration, but with longevity and sillage to match.

OMG! I 've made recently Miss Dior eau de parfum (new) my signature, after a long effort to decide which one from the line stands more & better on skin.

My first love and try was Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet. I know we all had problems with longevity and sillage that were truly poor. What's happening now? Can't wait to try it but to be honest, I prefer the bottles like Miss Dior EDT and Blooming Bouquet that are more square.

Francois Demachy heard our prays and complaints to start adding more gourmandise tones in Miss Dior so that it could remind us of the beloved and discontinued Miss Dior Cherie line! Hopefully, something like the green juice of Miss Dior Cherie L'eau is coming too the next years.

Come on, add some pop corn, some savory tones. Made us feel unique Francois! Keep up the good work!! <3

p.s: While reading the lucky reviewers that have already smelled it, I am sure it will be musky 'sweet' the same way my signature Miss Dior EDP (new) is, but to keep it's sharpness patchouli got replaced by pink pepper. I trust Dior's gourmand-fruity notes and hope like crazy it will remind a bit the aphrodisiac nectar potion La nuit tresor by Lancome. Let's see, one month left till I'll try it on Airport's duty free in Greece
