Ananas Fizz L'Artisan Parfumeur for women and men

Pineapple Lifesaver candy! with a mild woody base, the citrus note is not prominent on my skin. This is very pleasant, it is fruity but doesn't feel childish or too juvenile. Soft sillage and moderate longevity. After a while, I notice that It has a little bit of coconut that goes and comes, like a fancy pina colada. Perfectly unisex.

Thought I would purchase this one after reading some of the reviews and glad I did! I love the drydown of this one, its not too fruity-I think this is a winner!!!!

Eww. This is definitely not a straight pineapple.

There's a massive, not even attempted to be discreet woodsap note in here, right off 1st spray; the vibe it gives is an overriding, woodchip effect that I found totally nauseating.

Very strange. While grapefruit is there, it is minimal and wile the scent is certainly not acidic or 'limey', it is not candied-lemony either.

If you're thinking 'Aventus', forget it; the pineapple here is strident and sappy, as if a strange variety was opened from a Del monte can and thrown into a construction pile of woodchips by the sea or a dockyard.

It's linear too. Vanilla, ambergris (the marine aspect would have been amazing), bolder woods; but nope.

I might be coming across as harsh but after Aventus, I don't see why we should have to back to anemic blends such as this.

The main problem is neither the pineapple is the 'juicy sweet' type, nor are the woods exciting, bold or interesting; yet using a proper guiaic (but not Aventus'es smoky birch) something grat could've come out, a true classic.

I simply put the sample away and rushed back to spray another couple of blasts of Aventus!

The first blast is fizzy tart pineapple probably thanks to grapefruit a note I don't like much. In minutes the wispy woods gently shine through and it's a creamy gentle pineapple. Whilst this is mildly interesting I don't think I know when or where I'd wear this, so I'll just keep my sample but will not buy a full bottle.

Ananas Fizz is a very enjoyable pineapple fragrance. The pineapple here retains a green aspect lent from citrus, and its sweetness is moderate and natural. With time, a discreet creamy base flows underneath, which makes the fragrance smells like pina colada or pineapple milk candy, albeit very light and breezy.

The sillage is soft and the longevity is around 6 hours. I don't find Ananas Fizz a very realistic pineapple scent because of the creamy base and its lack of the 'bite' of a real pineapple. Although Ananas Fizz smells like 'pineapple flavour' to me instead of real pineapples, it feels very natural, which is a rare quality among pineapple scents. And it's such a lighthearted and lovely delight for warm weathers. If you happen to be looking for a pineapple fragrance, I think it definitely worths a try.

This literally smells like a pineapple Lifesaver lolly. It's gorgeous and summery and easy to enjoy. It really is an exotic cocktail in a scent. Clever!

It isn't cheap smelling at all, for a fruity scent, it has the signature class and charm and L'Artisan 'note' that can fan of the brand can attest to. Lovely!

this kinda smells like batucada (or like it has seawater in it) and pineapple...i like it a lot but i'm not sure if it's because it smells like batucada or because it smells nice. i didn't smell this with the intent of being metafictive or even existential or whatever, but this is causing quite a bit of consternation and i may need to try this again when i have a lot less cosmic anxiety about me...i'm being SUPER serial...

On me it is purely sweet pineapple, perhaps a little of the "fizzy" quality. It doesn't develop over time. Pleasant but a little too one dimensional for me to wear all day. It would be nice as a candle or body product.

I'm wearing my sample of this for the first (and maybe last) time today. It reminds me of Byredo's Pulp in that it sounds like a great fruity scent and confirms that when tested on paper, but when tested on my skin the wood notes overwhelm everything else. Maybe it's just a peculiarity of my chemistry? I could smell some (chemical) pineapple for about a minute after I sprayed it, no grapefruit at all, and then before I could make up my mind about whether I liked the smell it changed and all I got was (cedar) wood for several hours. Not bad, but not at all what I was looking for when I bought this sample: I wanted a nice pineapple/grapefruit mix with maybe some wood in the background...I'll test this at a store when I get the chance, just to see if my sample was off, but I'm afraid it's not for me.

Initially, I was pleased by the grapefruit/pineapple note. Light and citrusy, but not syrupy sweet. A few hours later, though, most of the sweetness is gone, and I'm left with something that I can only describe as vaguely hairspray-like.

Delicate fruity light perfume, easy to ware, minimalistic with only a few fruity notes, elegant and not intrusive.

Fresh peeled grapefruit and cut ananas with a hint of woody notes. It´s not a typical sweet fruity scent cause grapefruit is littlebit bitter and it prevents to became Ananas Frizz a sweet, sticky scent. but unfortunetly it´s nothing special and I wouldn´t pay that much for something like that especially that longevity and sillage aren´t so good.
It´s just OK summer scent and that´s all.

Definitely not for me...ananas turns to smell like grass..
I exchange it if anyone is interested with one perfume of my " want " list..

Warm, ambery, just sweet enough- this fragrance has good unisex potential-

The pineapple note only seems to last for a few seconds on my skin- leaving sweet, golden woods to linger- no evidence of grapefruit, though...

Hours later, it becomes a soft floral skin scent-

As with most L'Artisan's fragrances, don't be shy with your application, or you will be wasting your time...

Mmm..this smells like a yummy longdrink! Not boozy,but fizzy and refreshing.

I think it has a pineapple-like scent.It doesn't smell completely realistic,but smells more like pineapple than any other scent out there,including Bahiana which doesn't hold a candle to Ananas Fizz in my opinion.
There is also a trace of coconut in the middle which adds to the cocktail feeling.In the drydown,there is some woodiness,apparently cedar.Ananas Fizz is not a longlasting scent,but I love to reapply to enjoy the delicious top notes.

I think due to the sweetness this might be rather a feminine scent, but to each their own.;-)

I do not feel the pineapple. I feel sappy fruit and the elegant rich beautiful foundation . Perfection on the summer , beautiful as addition to the sweet smell. Airiness and the similar composition to Diptyque of Cologne scents.:)

I love the mix I get of a tart, not sweet, pineapple and cedar. But I never get any of the other notes. It's so light and sheer I have to bury my nose in my wrist to smell anything at all. Then there is nothing after 10 minutes. So strange, my Yorkie went nuts! He's never noticed a scent on me but he wanted to eat my wrists.

Well...what can I say. I was looking forward to smell Ananas Fizz. It's hard to find a fragrance with pineapple and WITHOUT coconut! So I was already falling in love with this perfume just because of that single reason.
But...where is the real, juicy, slightly tart, ripe pineapple? I can't find it.
Instead I get a syrupy pineapple, like a canned pineapple that is not even that strong. And the wood notes are more prominent.
By the way, at least on me, this smells like a unisex fragrance.

I guess because of my skin, this smells more like a woody/sweet/fruity type of scent.
But I don't blame the perfume, I blame my mind for imagine a completely different scent.

Great grapefruit and pineapple at first, but then very heavy vetiver on the drydown. I like it, but don't love it.

It really does smell of grapefruit and pineapple! It smells good enough to drink and it's bright and zingy. Unfortunately, I discovered that I don't like smelling like a fruit cocktail! Would be a great room fragrance but as a perfume it's not for me.

Strangest thing... I have a sample of this from last year. I applied it on my wrist several times over the course of several months and I couldnt smell it. I was like I was completely anosmic to it. This morning I reached for it and decided to give it another shot. And now I smell it! I guess my nose needed to evolve or something in order to actually smell this perfume.

Its a light, delicate, citrus scent. Its doesnt SCREAM pineapple, but you can smell its presence. No wood notes that I can discern. Its very light, on me, far to subtle for me. But Im glad I can finally smell it.)

If Cointreau were made with grapefruit and pineapple rather than orange, it would smell exactly like the opening of L'Artisan Parfumeur ANANAS FIZZ. This unique creation features pineapple, the sweetness of which is cut with grapefruit rind essence. The woodiness and resinosity also help to render ANANAS FIZZ more than just another bad cocktail frag. In fact, even the Cointreau-esque opening does not smell bad, it's just that it really does smell like an apperitif!

I am a fan of Anne Flipo's work, so I'm not surprised that she managed to create something both interesting and wearable with one of my least favorite notes as a focus: pineapple. But grapefruit is at least as important, if not more, not only as a detectable note, but also for the role that plays in neutralizing some of the characteristically cloying sweetness that makes so many pineapple frags such a sticky disaster on my skin.

Although ANANAS FIZZ is not FB-worthy for me, I would not mind a decant to wear now and then as a novelty scent. The longevity and sillage are typical of citrus edts.

I dont smell anything. Literally its like I put nothing on. Its like I dabbed water on myself.

Ummm...am I smelling the same fragrance??? I got somewhat of a citrus opening note, but it smelled a little...cleaning-producty? And after that disappears, all I get is blast after blast of incense. So again, I ask you, am I smelling the same fragrance?

Yummy, fruity and refreshing. Great to spritz in summer, though with little staying power. Very pleasant to wear.

I have a sample from this and really like it! Super summertime fragrance with lime and grapefruit taste, but unfortunatelly i can not find the ananas in it! Anyway it's a great citrus-fruity parfume, but not floral-fruity in my opinion.
