I was looking for a new spring/summer scent...
Goodness what a creamy dream of a perfume this is!
The only drawback is that it disappears on me after about an hour :(

Being prescient (in my own haughty opinion lol) @genevieve @cosmicscents YES we've arrived at the powdery era! Every house has or is going to put out powdery scents. I repurchased this frag after buying a zillion other powdery scents and not being satisfied. I caved and im glad! I will use perfume Primer to help my longevity issue. This is a rare beauty.

Love the powder and bottle. This reminds me more of Kenzo Amour or Narciso Poudree. Very soft and comforting. Dry down is very Hypnotic Poison.

I can only say its lovely.when i first applied it i recognized a similar fragrance from the past and i thought no not again a blind loser but i was wrong.its a lovely powdery warm comforting perfume.i keep getting wafts of powder which i love.i need to get it on bare skin to try to distinguish different notes i only managed to spray around my neck as im wearing a sweater and vest but its lovely comforting and warm iv said that twice so for me its a winner.a gentle scent ,very personal.iv had it on for 4 hrs now and its still going strong.it may be the makeup powder mentioned which i picked up at the first few sprays but if you love powdery perfumes.i love every note so i cant go wrong especially vanilla but this is not a run of the mill dept store perfume, its quite retro and stands apart.

I love this scent so much... but I'm returning it to Nordstrom (yes I splurged!) tomorrow most likely. It has NO longevity and NO sillage on me... I'm so disappointed because the fragrance is beautiful! And it was Nordstrom's last bottle... Also it takes a LOT of sprays to get to acceptable level on my skin! Well c'est la vie. My skin often cannibalizes fragrance but never like this before! Again, it's SO beautiful! I guess I will wait for an "intense" flanker...

I think you can love Valentino poudre even if you don't love powdery perfumes but you must like vanilla to love it.it's creamy and powdery at the same time and I agree that it can be a softer and powdery version of hypnotic poison.I can smell all notes.powder note that smells like makeup compact powder, powdery iris that gives more powdery makeup smell, powdery vanilla that smells like vanilla cake powder, creamy sandalwood and creamy tuberose that are like a white cream on top of our cake.Valentino poudre smells like home made diet cake with very little sugar and makeup so it smells very feminine.it's warm and comfortable like your home's kitchen.I like that it's soft and very feminine.it's warm and not very sweet.longevity is great.perfumes usually don't stay on me more than five hours but Valentino poudre stays more than seven hours.sillage is very good too.very big, also soft.it's good for fall and winter and even spring.it is completely different with narciso poudre that came out at the same time

Nowadays, one of the best modern powdery fragrance
--------------------------------------------------
از اینها بگذریم اما ولنتینو پودری یه مورد فوق العاده خوب و باحال و با کلاس از این توناژ رایحه ست که حضور نرم و شیک وانیل در همراهی این روایح پودری و زنبقی حال کلی و زور عطر رو بیش از فرم کلاسیک به سمت فرمی مدرن و امروزی تر میبره و همین عامل باعث میشه نسبت به سایر کارهای پودری دیگه راحت تر بشه از این کار حتی به صورت روزانه بدون غرق شدن در فرم خیلی خاص و تعریف و تاکید شده یی استفاده کرد و باهاش کنار اومد و لذت برد.{ این موارد به خوبی بهش اشاره شده و یه چیزایی هم در تایید این کامنت ها احتمالا تکرار میشه}

First that I tried Valentino Poudre I couldn't see any similarities to dior's HP.I wanted it even before it's release.even the idea of a modern powdery scent seems intriguing to me.classique powderys with lots of dusty flowers isn't my thing but modern powder clouds with vanilla, heliotrope and just a slight touch of iris or violets, ummm
But something stopped me from buying it.whenever I sprayed it on a blotter,I could smell lots of lovely powdery vanilla and a touch of powdery iris, balancing vanilla's sweetness.I love this combination but it seemed to be so bland.but finally I did it and bought a half-full bottle, glad I did
It's first phase is all about vanilla powder, sweet but with a bitter edge thanks to iris.I think this bitterness reminds me almond of hypnotic poison.valentino Poudre is very powdery in the beginning but it's drydown has more of a creamy texture but not as creamy as HP because it's still covered with a sheer powdery layer
When I test Valentino Poudre on paper,I can't pick up much of other notes but on my skin I can certainly detect a creamy blend of tuberose and sandalwood
All in all I can see similarities between this one and HP but there are also differences, the biggest one is about they're personality.valentino Poudre is soft and it has a humble also elegant personality.it's vanilla isn't a childish or supersweet one by any means but it's still mostly about vanilla,so if you don't have a good relationship with vanilla you'd better don't bother with it
Valentino Poudre is soothing for me.very cozy and makes me feel calm.I don't see it suitable for clubbing or as an attention grabber but I see it great as an intimate fragrance also great for meetings or occasions that I need something smooth to make me feel comfortable or confident, such as an exam or a job interview
Longevity is great, just like the other valentino I own and love,Valentino donna.they both stay on my skin for a full day, sillage is soft but easily noticeable for others and myself
I'm starting to love this brand
❤❤❤❤

I had Valentina Pink and I was very curios how is pudre version.
I am so disappointed. It is so old, heavy scent... It has nothing. I mean, really in this group of perfumes there are many more interesting. I love Valentino, but this one is a BIG no from me.

I was a bit worried about Poudre as I am not a huge fan of powdery scents, but it is lovely!! it isnt a sweet suffocating powder, more a grown up balsamic scent..I truly like it! it is feminine, the base is more like soft oriental, with the balsamic edge..
I dont find it similar to HYpnotic Poison, this is more balsamic, it has a different tone..the tuberose pops through and gives it that stylish edge..all in all, so happy I got it in a swap! a winter scent for me, I would find it annoying in warm weather
It reminds me of Narciso Poudre too...although the Valentina is softer

I just received this in the mail today. A little about me: I like Musk's & Orientals but I despise (hate) super-sweet scents I am looking for the perfect creamy skin-scent... And after trying this, the search is still on. This one is not a "sweet scent," exactly... It is more of a skin-scent, and quite lovely if you like vanilla rootbeer with a splash of vodka. :)
(Sounds like it would be a yummy drink, but it just didn't work for me as a perfume.)

First spray is a dry, sparkling, vanilla cream soda. Sadly, no powder stays with me. :( The bottle is SO lovely, and the scent is very pleasant, more-so at the drydown, but I was assuming there would be more of a powder or iris fluffiness in this fragrance.

I sprayed it on my skin, in the air, even sprayed it on my clothes, & it's the same affect, even to my husband's nose. You know when you get rootbeer at a restaurant - you put your nose to the cup & you get that sparkling-vanilla-rootbeer effervescent affect? This captures that moment perfectly.

I don't get any "powder" or "makeup" smell, just vanilla rootbeer. I would compare it more to Bvlgari Omni (original) with a touch of boozy-woods, rather than compare this to Hypnotic Poison. Sadly, this didn't work for me. But if you love vanilla scents than this is TOTALLY for you! Valentina Poudré .... It would be more accurate if they renamed it "Valentina Vanilla" .... instead of anything to do with powder.

This perfume is a thing of beauty, but it won´t be everyone's cup of tea. It's very dusty kind of powder (but also somewhat creamy), with the tuberose in the background, so not a dainty, delicate perfume, but rather dense and possibly a bit loud. I personally thought it reminded me more of John Galliano than Hypnotic Poison (but I can see where you're coming from), with the Galliano being its dark, gothic cousin, whereas Poudre retains that classic, elegant sophistication that one expects from the Valentina line.

If Hypnotic Poison is a delicious rich cream, then this is a puff cloud. I see the similarities, but they are mere similarities. The two perfumes tell different tales: the first is luscious and sultry, this one is sheerness and cozy warmth. Both fascinate me in different ways. What a joy it is to experience these scents!

This was a blind buy, and I must say one of the best I've ever encountered...I am on a cloud of fine pink pressed face powder. This has the most beautiful vintage vibe I haven't seen in a long time...an instant love!
I don't get Hypnotic Poison at all...which is another one I love, but it has more of a root beer vibe with coconut, and Valentina is pure vintage face powder...oh how I have longed for this scent. It is perfection to me...the fragrance of my dreams! A true boudoir perfume that smells like expensive face powder that came right out of a depression-era pink powder jar...elusive, classic and exquisite...I must have this always in my collection...

My first Valentino perfume and I am VERY impressed...must explore more. The bottle is beautiful and matches the scent perfectly...

This one is deceptive. I bought it under the impression it would smell somewhere between floral-powdery-vanilla.
Boy, I was wrong.
I have mixed feeling towards this fragarance. Part of me wants to like its subtle projection. Another part of me hates it.
To me, this is the way lighter version of YSL Opium, and plays in that area instead of sharing similarities with Dior Hypnotic Poison.

This fragarance started with blatant powdery scent, followed by woody-earthy aromatic layer that stays all the way to the end. Nothing about vanilla. Weak projection, poor staying power. I literally have to sniff my skin where I sprayed it onto. Maybe it'll do good as fabric/towel spray or night frag at home.

EDIT :
I was mistaken.
Accidentally sprayed this onto my bra and my hair. After 24 hours, it stays put, soft, earthy and woody. Works really well with my body chemistry. Beautiful sillage, calming effect.

Lovers of a strong perfume beware.... Poudre Valentino has indeed got a beautiful powdery scent but to actually smell it I had to keep smelling my wrists! There's no whiff as you move about....In an earlier review I did after getting a sample I was very positive about it but since buying a bottle of it I'd have to say it quite "light weight" :( The bottle is very pretty so if you like a lovely ornament on your perfume dresser & are prepared to spray it many times a day it's perfect.....

Though I never have tested Hypnotic Poison by Dior, which is listed above, Poudre reminded me of something familiar. It will become sweeter as time passes. And about powerdiness, yes, it shows that. But, just "shows" it. Quality is absolutely satisfactory.

This has grown on me since I purchased it, I didn't like it that much when I first got it but now i think it's really beautiful, so powdery and sweet and on me it lasts a few hours with moderate sillage.
It is more powdery than Narciso Poudrè which I also love, I recommend Valentina Poudre to people who are into powdery scents.

A beautiful light powdery iris. Very little projection or staying power but nice while it lasts. Doesn't remind me of Hypnotic Poison at all. It lacks that thick pasty suffocating feeling that Hypnotic Poison has. It's an interesting departure from previous Valentinas. Worth checking out if you're an iris lover.

I think Daria_21s review below sums up my experience with this lovely scent as well.

I would note that I don't really care for hypnotic poison but adore this fragrance. I can see some of the similarities and why others are comparing it to Dior's fragrance but the vanilla comes through as softer and less sweet to my nose.

As others have also mentioned it does disappear on bare skin pretty quickly but I've been spraying it on before I finish dressing so that it scents my lingerie and have had it last most of the day using this method.

I'm also a big fan of the nicely weighted bottle. I love that the entire thing is a matte mauvey pink, from sprayer to flower embellishment. It's a perfect representation of the juice inside.

The last thing I will note is for those seeking it in the United States. I was searching for a second bottle to keep in reserve and after calling several high end retailers was told that Nordstrom would be carrying it in July during their anniversary sale. Seems that it's pretty hard to find in the US but oh so worth it.

I was recently browsing Fragrantica and came across Valentina Poudre. Being a powdery oriental vanilla gal through and through, the notes really sang to me. I saw positive votes for sillage and longevity, which made me even more excited. I mentally made a note of it in my head and went about my day. This past weekend while shopping at Nordstrom (Canada), I decided to take a walk through the fragrance section (even though my head was screaming NO, you do not need another perfume!!!) Low and behold, there she was. There was no tester, but the urge was too strong and I bought it blindly without smelling it.

It was a good blind buy, because this perfume is heavenly. It is indeed similar to Hypnotic Poison, which I own and love, but they are not of the same ilk. Hypnotic Poison is deeper, smokier, sweeter, brighter, and with more depth, longevity and sillage. Valentina Poudre is much more powdery (hence the name), much drier, almost dusty, and not as sweet or smokey. The scent is quite linear, and doesn't change much on my skin. This may be a downer for some people, but I don't mind it. At least you know what you're getting.

Does it smell divine? Yes, but it is not without fault.

I have quite an extensive fragrance collection, and I have never in my life said this about a fragrance, but here it goes. After a few hours, I literally cannot smell this on my skin. Nor can my husband, and he has a very sensitive sniffer. It is absolutely a skin scent; next to no sillage whatsoever after about an hour, and longevity is weak, about 2-3 hours. Alas, in life, something always has to give, and I am willing to accept these faults for just how beautiful this perfume is. This is a fragrance that you can safely spray several times and not have to worry about punching somebody in the face with your scent.

The bottle is just lovely; probably one of the prettiest bottles in my collection. It's heavy with a porcelain feel to it, and is a dusty matte pinkish rose, with a flower adorned to it. It suits the fragrance just perfectly.

This fragrance is very reminiscent of an incredibly high end, expensive face powder, perhaps with the scent of a fireplace crackling way off in distance. Think Guerlain Meteorites face powder, but so much better and a little more complex. The vanilla is not sweet in any way; it's sophisticated, cozy and is blended superbly with the other notes, which are quite minimal.

If you love powdery vanilla scents and aren't put off by the weak sillage and longevity, run, don't walk to this beauty! I do believe it is limited edition and quite hard to find. Nordstrom only had two in stock and were not able to order more.

I love it , I really wish I didn't because it is crazily expensive for being a powdery skin scent but this is so lovely- it has a French British feel for me. It is the only fragrance I have ever tried which is similar to Hypnotic Poison EDT not EDP (which is in my fav top 5) it has that same creamy vanilla almond sandalwood dry down. A little bit of talc and some slight baby wipes. It smells of powdery cosmetics but it is so beautifully blended with vanilla that it is in no way cloying or overbearing it is beautifully done. I really love it, the only issue I have is that there is basically no silage because it is a skin scent but it goes so beautifully with my skin chemistry I want to buy it anyway. I detect powder vanilla almond sandalwood and iris in this although it is not listed- it is gorgeous- truly to die for. A beautiful creamy powdery vanilla scent. My favourite out of all the valentino range. I will buy this - it is now on my want list despite it being so expensive and having no projection. It is so feminine and natural. I don't associate this fragrance with high maintenance career women , it is for the much more natural laid back woman who is effortlessly enchanting and captivating. The bottle matches the scent perfectly a powdery dusty pink colour which matches the powdery feminine fragrance inside. I really love the matte look bottles, they are fantastic!

I love this! Very dry, soft, wispy, powder and vanilla. The terracotta note is prominent and gorgeous. I do understand the comparisons to Hypnotic Poison but this is much dryer and more subtle. This smells like expensive face powder and I adore it! It's not cloying or in your face. The sweetness is mild and dissipates even more with the drydown. I think this is my favorite blind buy in years.

Soft and ladylike, clean & cozy, the man smelling this is going to want this lady to stay with him coz she makes him feel secure and masculine. I think it should be called Powder Puff. I'm a fan

Valentina Poudre – it’s a fine powdery cloud full of feminine sensuality. A delicate quality that is full forward as well. The floral notes of iris and tuberose are creamy with just the perfect touch of sweetness, enhanced by vanilla and sandalwood which provide a certain level of depth and magnetism.

For me thus far the best representation of an expensive makeup powder conveyed through fragrance. It is a sensible fragrance, delicate yet persistent longevity with nice sillage, which starts of strong but eventually it becomes a skin scent.

Oh no. I was looking forward to try this so much, as it gets compared to Hypnotic Poison so many times. But they're years apart.... And Poudre, to me, is a sickly sweet powdery vanilla sandalwood mess. It's very linear, and holds no surprise. It smells exactly like what the note list suggests, no more, no less. If there's any depth to it, my skin just won't let it develop, because all it cares about is amplifying all the sweet factors. It's strong as a nuclear bomb as well, which, I suppose, is not a bad thing if you love this scent. It's quite impossible to scrub off. I pray I won't meet face to face with it in the summer heat - it will have that blood pressure dropper effect on me that makes feel dizzy and weak.

This is powder heaven! Slightly Oriental but it's the powdery scent that really hits. It last's for hours and gives that just out of the shower smell. This is a summery early morning scent and very feminine. Clean clean clean ......not a perfume for night time outings! Just beautiful and innocent.

I am in LOVE with this, so cozy and classy at the same time.
I spritsed it on my arm for the first time today, before going to the movies and i couldn't stop smelling my arm during the movie. And even after the movie it was just as strong, great lasting power for a powdery perfume.
And it really transforms on the skin, the first spray is straight powder but it changes to creamy sandalwood/tuberose in the dry down.

About the similarity to hypnotic poison, both are strong in vanilla which is why they smell slightly alike. But to me poudre is actually a lot deeper and more comforting than HP. HP being more sharp and strong until dry down.

Granted that I am not a fan of the previous versions of Valentina (I have nothing against them, they are just flat and not interesting in any way for me) I love this one! I think of it as: the sheer powdery-ness of Prada Infusion d'iris meets the almond creamy-ness of Hypnotic Poison. I love both of them so of course that I love this baby :) It's nothing revolutionary, but it is a comforting skin scent and I do enjoy it very much. A very happy user :D

I couldn't wait to get this perfume. It was a blind buy that I purchased online from a site in Europe. I normally wouldn't buy a perfume that I could not test, but the beautiful bottle and it being an oriental was too persuasive for me to refuse.

I should first tell you that my very favorite perfume (I have an expansive collection 100+ perfumes) is the original Omnia Bvlgari, since it has been discontinued I have not stopped looking for that perfect Oriental fragrance to replace my loved Omnia. Back to Poudre, the bottle is beautiful! The fragrance... I am not sure. I think what is throwing me off is the powerful Vanilla. It is almost too sweet and smells like marshmallows, but the dry powder scent is what keeps me wanting to like it. It is a powerful scent and can be smelled several feet away, according to my husband. The silage is heavy. I hope as the day goes it will settle into a dry spicy oriental like my Omnia. I think I am hoping for too much. If you like Vanilla and you like an oriental this is your gal. It is a great one to add to the collection, but not my signature... the search must go on.

Edit: I wore it for an entire day, and I think I need to give in another fair review. I LOVE it. The scent will linger all day and night. I could smell it at 4am (unexpected ER visit for my dog) I slipped on the clothes I wore earlier that evening. It was so soft and beautiful. I think of cashmere and baby powder with a touch of frankincense is what I could smell. I definitely smell something very familiar, and it might be that makeup powder scent. It still is heavy vanilla but I am liking it! I am so happy with this blind purchase. Thank you Fragantica! If it wasn't for your description and your reviewers I would have never found this gem.

Beautiful scent in a beautiful bottle. I get the hypnotic poison references but this is light, fluffy and not creamy at all. There's no way that this perfume could ever be sickly it's too airy for that. Great for spring and summer. Personally I find the sillage and longevity pretty good. Perhaps it's one of those perfumes that many people are anosmic to?

I had high hopes as I love powdery perfumes and this bottle is simply gorgeous. All I got was a very faint pouff of powdery vanilla then nothing it must be very dependent on skin chemistry.I did make sure it wasn't just my nose by asking my partner to have a sniff but he couldn't detect anything.I really wish it had worked for me.

Bitter powder, Hypnotic Poison, Nivea beach oil from the eighties and my beach ball from when I was five. Not sure if I'd like to smell like that. If it were a candle to scent my home then yes, but a perfume? I'd rather stick to Valentina Assoluto, my favourite of the Valentina line. The other three are gorgeous too. Poudre is not my cup of tea though. This one is not a safe blind buy. Skin test is a must.

I waited weeks to get the chance to try this perfume. I have often been naughty and blind bought ones I have convinced myself I will love. I was determined not to do that this time around so it was with great impatience that I remained steadfast.

I saw it standing there and just stood looking at it for a second. Spritz, spritz, spritz. It was so gentle I could barely smell anything. My daughter was with me so I held my arm out for her opinion.

She duly smelt my arm (from within a few millimetres of her nose) and confirmed my worst fear. There was a faint aroma of powdery/vanilla smell but it was so faint she could barely detect it. I could have cried. I had so looked forward to trying it. My daughter was going to buy it for me for my birthday. I resorted to extreme measures.
I opened up my top and sprayed down into the decolletage, behind the knees, my hair, my clothes. In fact I think the shop assistant was preparing herself to wrestle the bottle away from me before she had nothing left of it for anyone else to try. Alas, very little happened. So, I am extremely envious of all those who have tried and experienced what I should have. Onwards and upwards, I shall continue my search for the perfect powder.

For me: Sillage: 0/5 and Longevity: 0/5

Its a bottle of modern liquid powder, minus the metallic smell or overly choking fragrance infused into it. Not a complex scent at all, easy to tell its mainly powdery and vanilla-ish or creamy sort of scent. Honestly i do like this scent as it turns out to be comforting or soothing.

The descriptive word 'ethereal' fits as it smells like a light and airy aura envelope around the wearer. However I see no goddess in this ethereal plane because i do not smell the tuberose (which i love) at all. I feel that tuberose is supposed to help its wearer up her sensuality. Be your own goddess, ladies!

Hypnotic Poison + Make up Powder.
Delicious and a little bit unusual- I´m in heaven!

Valentina Poudre has the same ethereal powdery Vanilla Note as HP but is less sweet.
Powder, Vanilla, Iris and Sandalwood create a delicious though not sugary or confectionery scent.
Valentina Poudre is sexual, cozy, woody and gives the feeling of warm sunkissed skin.

A Sweet Soft Powdery fragrance for all the beautiful women out there.

I love the dry down more than the opening although it has a weak longevity... maybe because it is softer at the dry down.

Soft vanilla ice cream and powder. Quite cute actually but not for me. Very vanilla sugar in a Hypnotic poison and Kenzo amour way.

This review is just a short first impression of Valentina Poudre. I have to say that in the beginning I had high ecpectations of this launch, but deep in my heart I knew I would most likly be dissapointed. Since almost all the new launches from different perfume houses the last couple of years have been dissapointing to me. And when I read on Fragrantica that vanilla was the dominant note, all hope was lost. Another vanilla ??? Vanilla with powder??? Not what I was hoping for.....no this will not be a good one.....

But today I tried this for the first time, and I have to say this is pure pleasure, I truly loved the dry powdery scent of soft vanilla, that is not to gourmand nor to sweet, but rather warm, comforting and may I say elegant? I am so happy that Valentina Poudre did not dissapointed me. It will surely make its way to my collection soon.

This one is aptly titled and a true winner. The powdery smell makes it so definitely feminine that it is immediately sexy and heart-warming. A great addition to the Valentina range.

I only tried it once so this is hardly a review but first impressions are still strong enough to encourage me to write;)

It is a sweet make-up powder scent, it reminds me of Max Factor compact powder (from the 90's at least, I have no idea how it smells now:). Not great silage and longevity on my skin, on paper it stays for a day.

It's unlike other powdery scents I've tried but it truly captures the smell of make-up powder.

I do however prefer L'Instant Magic (no connection between the two for me though) which is a very classy powdery scent. But am waiting to try Narciso;)

I tried this yesterday. I don't usually go for overly powdery perfumes (and this is about as powdery as they come), but thought this was very nice. Good lasting power and I definitely get the comparisons to Hypnotic Poison.
When it dries down this reminds me of vintage makeup bags and the smell of face powder and lipstick. A must try for anybody who likes powdery perfumes. Pretty bottle too.

The dry down reminds me of a slightly more harsh Guerlain L'instant Magic, I'm tempted to buy it for that reason alone.

Tried this yesterday and immediately said to a friend it reminded me a little of vanilla latte with amaretto, no surprise then to see the ingriedients list and wouldn't surprise me if there were some bitter almond in there somewhere which is most likely the reference to Hypnotic Poison noted below, as HP is already one of my heaven scents! I like it, will wear it when I get the chance to buy it... So what if its targeted at women... At least if a woman asked what it is I can enchant her with the bottle!!

Love this one. It smells as pre-Demachy version of Dior Hypnotic Poison that I tried in the mid-2000s. Maybe Valentina is more powdery and dry, though similarity is high.

Usually I like sillage monsters and sweet scents, but I came across this today and I am OBSESSED!!! It's powdery vanilla and it reminds me a little of play doh...

I sprayed 2 hours ago and can barely smell it now, but I don't care, I am going to respray every hour if I have to <3 <3 <3

In whole view, very heavily sweet like original-vanila dominent. There's Something distinctive smell point. It's not usual powdery, very dry so close to leathery scent. And milky, some spicy flower smell. I guess this two are sandalwood and tuberose.

Oh I would so love a revival of new (and vintage if wishing upon a star) powdery fragrance releases. Whether designer/dept. store, or indie, or drugstore or niche...any or all would be welcomed with much enthusiasm by this powder-lover!

This one goes straight to the top of my WANT LIST and I will be checking for updated availability to sample or even blind-buy ;)

The design of the bottle is very smart, that i was expecting it to be powdery from the thumbnail photo even before opening the page itself. Looking forward to test and see if the scent now is close to the idea i have in mind or not
