I used to love this stuff, but now it makes me nauseous and honestly a bit irritated.
It's very plastic/fake banana/super syrupy vanilla/fake coconut cream.
I know this ticks the boxes for a lot of people but for me, it's not enough coconut for me. If this had less sugar and more coconut, I'd be all over it.

it smells beautful, but only smells when it's being sprayed. can't smell it after 5 minutes.

It doesn't smell like coconut to me but more like a nice watered down vanilla. I don't know what it is but there's this metallic smell that's there in the opening it eventually leaves and you're left with a nice light vanilla that smells like a warm vanilla cookie.

Now I wanted to know how this compared to bare vanilla and I can simply say they don't compare in my opinion. They're two enterally different vanillas, so no bare vanilla isn't if coconut passion had a child with anything or vise versa so if you have one you can get the other without feeling like you're getting a flanker of each other but an enterally different fragrance but still all of that is my opinion

In my huge collection of perfumes, this is the only Coconut perfume that I have and I adore it. It is creamy, delicate and comforting blend of Coconut and Vanilla. There is something were elegant and cosy at the same time. It isnt very formal as coconut never could be but vanilla makes it very modern and fun. If like me you have no other coconut, then this would be a good one to start with! Totally recommend.

I have been meaning to try this for ages after reading all the positive reviews on here, and tried the body mist today at the store. All I can say is WOW. This is absolutely delicious! I've always loved the smell of coconut and vanilla, and Coconut Passion has the perfect blend and balance between them. It smells delicious and edible; a lot of coconut/vanilla scents tend to smell synthetic, but this is proper creamy coconut and warm, sweet vanilla that smells quite natural. As it's a body mist, the sillage and longevity aren't the best, but I did get a few wafts throughout the day which reminded me of how lovely it was. The quality is good for the price, and it smells a lot more expensive than what it is. Coconut Passion reminds me of a coconut cake or something like that baking, and the kitchen is full of the beautiful aroma. I really wish I had picked up a bottle, but I might have to go back for it! ;) Definitely one of Victoria's Secrets best body mists, I'm surprised this isn't more popular while Love Spell is their bestseller, which I personally find cheap and nasty!

It's spring in the south hemisphere, so I bought this. It's so sweet and delicious. The vanilla is stronger than the coconut, but you can still smell that sweet and creamy coconut. As always, if you don't like gourmand fragrances, stay away from this. The only con I can think of it's that it doesn't last on me, I wish it could stay longer on my skin, but it's a body splash so it's fine, I can always reapply.

For me it's one of the best summer scents out there, but also one of the most classic scents of the house as well. Extremely sensual and sexual, but at the same time youthful and happy, full of energy and, indeed, passion! Not particularly girly, like other perfumes in the series, it can be worn by young girls, but also by more mature women. A summer aroma, not in the artificial sunscreen-y, or fake coconut way, but with a smooth cocktail vibe. On the edge I can get a strong caramel smell, something that drives me crazy! It's intense and has a very satisfactory longevity. Ideal for a summer night out.

Just bought this one out of curiosity because I heard Kylie Jenner uses this. This one smells like creamy, sweetened coconuts. I don't know why but this one definitely smelled more of sweet coconuts than vanilla for me. Smells really good, but this will not replace my love for Bare Vanilla.

Here, vanilla is the star of the show and coconut takes the backseat, while a buttery caramel undertone ties everything together smoothly. The result is a literal coconut cream pie scent, that is better suited for the fall season. For someone who loves gourmands this is dreamy and divine. For someone who doesn't, it's probably pointless.

A good coconut-vanilla. Pretty long lasting, and good sillage for the price. It can be used year round, as this is not a tropical coconut. It's a gourmand coconut-vanilla-sandalwood.

I am writing about the Coconut Passion Fragrance Mist. This body mist is such a huge letdown. I bought it as a blind buy because it was on sale. The initial spray is a blast of pure isopropyl alcohol with a slight but very yummy coconut/vanilla/caramel scent. And after that ....nothing. I tried spraying it over the body lotion, I tried spraying it on my clothes....still nothing. What a tease! I‘ll check the alcohol percentage and hopefully I can at least use it as a hand sanitizer

I have a body mist, it has been my signature for years. This is a sweet-treat-dream, the best affordable vanilla fragrance ever! I think it's mostly vanilla extract with splash of coconut water. It has milky, smooth, silky-musky texture and combined with body lotion it lasts up to 6-8 hours. I love this since forever, this pleasant sweetness never lies and always brings compliments.

Even though I have the Noir version of this scent, I’ll write a review for it here because it there is no page for the Noir version here. The notes for the Coconut Passion Noir version are: caramel, coconut, and night orchid. It is, ironically, a perfect fall scent even though it has coconut, it has the sweet milky scent of coconut but has a darker richer note to it from the caramel. Silage is pretty good, and longevity is around a few hours, not too long, but long enough for a body mist.🤎🤎

The best description for this is 'Creme Brulee', milky, caramelized and sugary. Very nice, but this is not a 'Vanilla' scent to me.

Coconut Passion is a very simple fragrance made with vanilla, coconut, and lily-of-the-valley. While not from their "prestige" fragrance lines, it is pleasing and long-lasting. The vanilla is more prominent than the coconut. The composition overall has a strong "buttery play-doh" vibe. It is nose-burningly sweet if you overspray, so I'd recommend a light hand.
Years ago, this was the most kickass coconut scent to me. But since smelling more things down the road, I realized there are better, more realistic, non-plasticky, and less play-doughy coconut fragrances out there. Some of the best ones are in fact made by VS.

I find this good for wearing to the pool. It has a very sunscreen-y scent. No particular sunscreen that I can remember, just a generic sort of smell. I bought a tiny bottle on sale at VS, and I'm glad I don't have any more of this juice to use up.
Another reason this is so good for the pool is that it doesn't matter if it washes off - it lasts half an hour, TOPS.

The best coconut vanilla accord out there. Dirt cheap if you buy it on sale ($8 for a big body mist instead of $18). It's a soft, very well-balanced, sexy, cozy coconut vanilla. Not too much of anything, just perfect. I finally bought this after wanting it for so long. I think this one might be a favorite for a long time.

This is a lovey coconut vanilla skin scented fragrance. It is inexpensive and does the job without making you smell like a high school gym locker full of hot pink VS musky notes (not that there is no time or place or that). I think this is a great office scent, but I must admit I’ve been wearing it to sleep as I find it so calming :)

I just received the EDT version of this scent. The initial spray did have some coconut. But after six hours, the scent is almost entirely reminiscent of the Warm Vanilla Sugar B&BW body spray of my childhood. Not a bad smell, I just wish it was more unique. The EDT has great longevity for the price.

I have this in body mist and to me it smells like creme brûlée. Probably the best of Victoria’s Secret body sprays. It lasts decent amount of time, specially for being a VS body mist. It’s delicious. Perfect for younger girls.

I just got a new bottle of fragrance mist in this scent. The writing has changed a little on the bottle & I think they changed the scent. Ive been buying this for years but this new bottle smells terrible. Like cough medicine. Has anyone else gotten a new bottle recently & thought they changed this? Or is it me?

Sadly, I dislike this one. In theory, it's a dream - vanilla - good. Coconut - good. Unfortunately with my chemistry, with my nose, this became a super-artificial, tooth-achingly sweet (and I am a sugar monster gourmand maniac), plastic-y, headache-inducing nightmare.
Both the coconut and vanilla are distinct, but sadly they're both very chemical and artificial smelling. Add to that the fact that this is one of the rare fragrances that, without fail, gives me a headache, and it's a scrubber for me.
I'm so sad because I should love it - every cloud has a silver lining though, as I gifted this to a friend who loves this scent and had nearly run out of her most recent bottle. To my nose it's still faintly artificial on her, but it's a lot nicer than it wears on me. If you've had good luck with VS fragrances and you like sweetness, coconut and vanilla, this is a very affordable scent with surprising silage and staying power, so you might want to give it a go - you may well be luckier than me! That said, I think there's much better coconut/vanilla scents out there for similar budget-friendly prices - for example, Urban Outfitters' Lait de Coco, which is more fresh and coconut-heavy and less artificial to my nose (and is a true, unexpected compliment-getter!).

Coconut Passion smells like vanilla ice cream, with a slight coconut hint. It is very sweet, and most people I walk by tend to comment on how they smell bakery/cupcake/gourmand. It is definitely not for those that are sensitive as it can be cloying. I recall I use to find the scent way too sweet to be worn but then I fell in love with it.

This is really nice. I love and appreciate a good coconut scent and this is right up my alley. It’s a nice even mix of creamy coconut and warm vanilla with a subtle hint of green notes to keep it from being cloying or sickly sweet. Best of all is that it doesn’t have that suntan vibe but can still be worn in the summer. It’s reminiscent of warm vanilla sugar but isn’t as sticky and this has a nicer more fresh dry down. The Sillage and longevity are typical for a body spray. No complaints here. This is an all around love for me

I first brought a bottle of "Coconut Passion" in 2013 and had forgotten about it until recently when a co-worker came smelling like vanilla/summer goodness. I really love how VS have got the perfect mix of coconut and Vanilla, as I don't find this to be pure coconut, rather a nice mix of the both. It doesn't smell too strong or immature, as I personally believe this could stand against some more expensive, designer fragrances. Its long lasting and works well in the heat, without being a sugary sweet coconut bomb.
Perfect for summer or everyday wear, at such a bargain price it will be a repeat purchase for me.

I absolutely love this body mist. I got it from a Victoria's Secret shop as part of a buy 2, get 1 free. I chose two mists, then quickly grabbed this one because it had Vanilla. To my surprise, I ended up hating the two mists I was so set on buying, and absolutely loved this blind purchase!
I have received nothing but compliments from this fragrance, from my dance teacher asking where to get it to spray the room, from a boy in my maths class trying to figure out who "smelt like caramel" (I've never noticed caramel, but there is no mistake that there is in fact vanilla or coconut present), as well as some other friends, both guys and girls, having me spray their clothes because they love it so much!
It's my signature scent, and it's unfortunate because I use it so often that I can no longer smell it. This means I spray about 5 pumps on my body (whoops), but I've yet to meet someone who wasn't offended. It could just be my skin with the perfume, but every thing about it is absolutely beautiful.

I have tried many coconut perfumes, including niche, but only this Victoria Secret body mist is the most beautiful. Coconut Passion has just a hint of coconut milk and loads of warm vanilla cream dessert. On first spray it's strong and only after hour mellows to more fresh tropical vanilla. I wear it all year round, but in winter it's my jam.

I thought I liked this a lot at first...not sure if I just got sick of it but I kind of get that play-doh smell from it. Like coconut play-doh. I feel like there are better fragrances out there for the price. It's tolerable. I'd rate it like a 4/10.

I have the EDT version. But first I got to say: I hate coconut and vanilla scents. I haven't found a perfume with said scents that I like. They are too sweet for my liking!!

I have the body mist of this not the perfume. But I can't find the body mist on Fragrantica yet so for keeping record of my collection and in order to write a review I have chosen the EDT to comment on. I haven't tried the EDT yet but the body mist I have to say is really strong and one of the few body mists with decent lasting power. It is quality wise really good actually. I normally hate coconut fragrances and they give me a headache and wasn't going to try this until the saleslady suggested to try it. For a coconut fragrance this is for me one of the best I have tried surprisingly! I will note though that I think a lot of people who like coconut perfume like the suntan lotion type of note that often goes along with it just from what I have read so it is important to note that this fragrance doesn't have that which is why perhaps people are dissapointed. But maybe this is the coconut fragrance for those like me who don't normally like coconut so there's a silver lining :) I think the best way to describe this is to say it is a super sweet coconut, it is coconut and vanilla really. It is a juicy coconut with a fruity vibe to it. If you like suntan lotiion coconut fragrances I would suggest avoiding this one until you can test it as you may not like it. With Victoria's secret I find when they get it right with their fragrances they really get it right. But there are honestly quite a few generic fragrances that you have to go through to find the gems. My favorite VS sprays that I have tried are Blush (which sadly has little staying power), Vanilla Lace (gorgeous vanilla) and Rush.

Ordered this online and the lotion had never smelled it before but seen so many good reviews so I was so excited to get it but when I got it it smelled like a cheap vanilla which smelled gross gave me the worst headache ever and made me feel sick to my stomach. my 8 year old even said it smelled gross. The vanilla body mist from dollar General smells better than this

I am a huge lover of that suntan-lotion-summery-beach vibe and was convinced I was getting it when I blind-bought this. Nope! All I could detect was vanilla (and by that I mean strong, artificial vanilla) and lots of musk. I honestly did not detect even a hint of coconut. Unfortunately, I have to tread lightly with musk notes as they tend to turn into muuuuusk on me and that is just what this did. It was sharp, fake vanilla with heady, dank musk. It was unpleasant for me and likely everyone around me. I ended up desperately trying to scrub it off after wearing for 15 mins or so. Btw, fragrances sure are hard to wash off when you hate them, aren't they?
I'll still blind-buy from VS because the mists are so inexpensive and worst case, their return policy is so great that I can easily just switch it out for something else.

I love this scent. It's great for year round imho. But I don't do floral or lighter scents. It's light coconut with a touch of a flower, vanilla & musk that dries downtown an amazing vanilla & milky musk.i adore the musk in this.

This scent simply reminds me of summer holidays at the beach. It’s light on the skin and not very long lasting, which I find perfect if you’ll spend the day under the sun. Pure coconut with a hint of sweet vanilla

Love it , it's yummy and simple unpretentious , for my is most vainilla (love it) and a little coconut. For everyday wear, for the gym . I got compliments. When I want to feel cozy or when I want something simple, good longevity, sometimes I use it with others vainilla based perfumes that are stronger to add a girly touch <3

Wears amazing in warm, humid weather. There's something almost smoky swirling about, which makes it good in cooler weather, too. Comforting and rich...it relaxes me. A yummy coconut macaroon baking in the sun, crispy edges and all.

This sents is all about coconut and vanilla. Basically, I mostly detect vanilla. This is a very vanillary coconut scent. Although it's all about coconut, it may be cloying in very hot weather as it's also very sweet because of the vanilla. It's very milky, silky,creamy,sweet and rich scent. Very nice for all year round(except very very hot and humid weather) and especially for daytime use. I use it daily to work or going for coffee with my friends now in summer when it's not still very hot. It's also very nice to take it with you in your vacation. When it's extremely hot I wear my Davidoff Cool Water :)

I really love this body mist. I feel it could be worn in the summer for a beachy scent or in the winter as a cozy one. This is definitely a foody type scent so you may enjoy it if you like scents such as Britney Spears Fantasy, Bath and Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar and Viva La Juicy. I do get coconut but it is more a rich, milky vanilla. As others have said it reminds me of coconut macaroons. It's in the same family as Warm Vanilla Sugar with a little more coconut. I personally love it.

If you like the smell of coconut tan lotion, it is for you. I smel only vanilla and coconut, and even though I like coconut, can not imagine to wear it normaly in the city far away from the beach. IMO it belongs to vacation, beach wear or after shower mist. I think vanilla make it quite long lasting for this kind of consistency.

This splash is a win-win for coconut lovers because it's so delicious and cheap. You've got nothing to lose buying this at such a price. The only problem is that it has no lasting power, but I mean it's a body splash after all. I recommend pairing it with the lotion to increase its longevity. What's odd is that it doesn't even last 15 minutes on my body and clothes, but when I use it as a room spray, it's like I just walked into a room-sized coconut and lasts for like 45 minutes haha.

I keep repurchasing this one and it is becoming a favourite of mine. It is not a parfum so if you are looking for something which performs as an EDP or EDT, then this is not it. What it is however, is a deliciously inviting mist which lasts on your body for a long time and remains close to the skin. It is a sexy scent which your lover will smell when embracing you. Delicious coconut and warm vanilla. Sensual and attractive. A bed room secret to seduce the one you love ;-)

I really like this, it's a little synthetic at first but it settles down into a warm vanilla coconut macaroon. This is not tropical coconut (yuck) but gourmand coconut (yay) I have perfume eating skin so all the reviews about the body spray quality/ poor longevity worried me but honestly this is pretty decent. Definitely not my worst. I think this could be a great to layer with as well.

I sampled this in VS today and didn't pay much attention, it was a waft of coconut at first. But throughout the day I kept smelling a lovely vanilla/coconut cookie scent. I remembered it was this scent (I tried on several, so had to think back on it). Several hours later, it's still noticeable. So, to me it is long lasting and this was only the body spray. The coconut is slight, so it does not remind me of suntan lotion. I recommend this one if you are craving a light gourmand scent.

When I first sprayed on Coconut Passion, I was overwhelmed by the aroma of French toast with maple syrup. I'm not sure why, but that's what I got, and it was heavy. I was immediately worried that this fragrance would not be wearable for me, but after five minutes, it settled down, and after a few more minutes, it became a soft vanilla coconut that reminds me of warm skin at the beach - a fun, casual summer scent.

My husband likes this. It's quickly becoming my go-to scent for day or night. I have the body spray and will update when I purchase the edt. I get mostly vanilla on my skin, very true smelling and inoffensive. I have to search for the coconut, but it's there. The strangest comment I got was from a woman in the locker room who walked by me and said, "someone smells like cotton candy!" So the scent may be a bit cloying - if you like sweet, it shouldn't be a problem. I really enjoy layering this over deeper scents like Nest Indigo for date night wear.

I have the body lotion and perfume gift set and have worn this since last March. It's very nice. Nevertheless I lament that it's so short-lived and tragically weak, a mere body spray. I would recommend this for young women who have jobs which require them to interact with people that would be able to smell them while sitting or standing next to them, an office, hospital, senior citizen's center, even a public school. This is soft and subtle fragrance of coconut and it's many moods. Oh it's coconut alright, a coconut water, a milk, a coconut scented juice. It's coconut note is the dominant accord and it picks up strength with the body lotion. The milky quality matches up with the aloe vera and then it starts to smell a little bit like face cream, but in a good way. I can totally smell the aloe vera and the chamomile. It's not exactly a tea, just green and a tiny bit herbal. It's colors are green and white. This is also coming out of the lily of the valley floral note. All the notes match up and go well together but it's a pity the scent has no strong base notes to support it, and that it has no top middle and base note structure; otherwise it's a lovely simple enjoyable fragrance.

This smells like coconut macaroons heavy with sweetened condensed milk and vanilla, not too heavy on the coconut though, which I appreciate as I find coconut notes can be suffocating to me. It's really nice but can be cloying if applied with a heavy hand (like I tend to do). I just have the body mist but it's long lasting and people will be able to smell you from a few feet away. In fact that's how I ended up with this scent, I smelt in on someone and loved the baked goods quality of it. If you like sweet and gourmand, you may like this.

To me, Victoria's Secret body mists and EDTs are what I wear when a "perfume" would be too much. They're what I reach for if I'm doing laundry, running errands, exercising, or when I know I'll be around people with asthma, allergies, or perfume sensitivities. Not everyone loves patchouli or jasmine like I do and I try not to assault my more delicate family members with scents they find offensive. I've never met someone that VS mists offended but I also don't douse myself. They are light and they will not knock your socks off with lasting power or silage. They will, though, wrap you up in a nice, cozy, uncomplicated (generally only having 2 or 3 notes) scent that will last like an average body mist. Although I don't like many of their perfumes (which I find to be usually overpriced without the quality to match the price tag), I love their mists and EDTs. They're simple and inexpensive, especially if you can find them on sale. Although Love Spell and Coconut Passion, which are my favorites, are in no way complex or ground breaking, no one expects them to be. They're just pleasant and pretty. They're ageless and casual to me, and I think they can appeal to a 13 year old as much as a 60 year old.

I have all the original Victoria Secret perfumes back when I was really into the lingerie line (still am). The original Coconut Passion really did smell like coconut but it's not realistic it's more like coconut scented shampoo for your hair or coconut scented body lotion. And I love that because I like to match actual shampoos with perfumes. This is a feel good fragrance to wear when you're fresh out of the shower and don't want to wear a perfume that is complex. This is sweet, gourmand, vanilla, and coconut. Smells like a little souvenir from Hawaii or Tahiti. I recommend the Eau de Toilette and not the Body Mist. The BM has a ridiculously short life of about an hour or two at most. And during those 2 hours or less all I could smell was vanilla. The coconut is more fragrant in the ET. The ET has all the notes listed on here: vanilla, lily of the valley, coconut, chamomile and aloe vera. The chamomille aloe vera again! It gives these Victoria Secret scents a touch of herbal freshness like someone has offered you tea instead of perfume. It's soothing and warm and lovely. The lily of the valley is green and harmonizes with the aloe vera and chamomile. Sweet sweet perfume. Love it.

I love sweet, gourmand scent, but not those that are synthetic, artificial and cloying like most of the vanilla&coconut scent out there are on my skin... this one is instead a luscious, natural, delightful beauty! At first I smell the coconut, but immediately the vanilla appears like the real star! A cremy, smooth vanilla, mouthwatering like a marshmallow... I have the lotion and the body mist, and together they last for hours!

My new Holy Grail fragrance! This gem is truly a perfect balance of pretty notes, soft and gentle, get delightfully sweet. It's name would more appropriately be something like Secret Dream, or Sugar Island Breeze...

Mouth watering vanilla with a hint of coconut. sensual, inviting. i wear it mostly at home, when i don´t want to use the "real" perfumes. it works well on cold days but i think it will really come to life on sunny, hot days, just spray with moderation because it can get cloying. on clothes it lasts one entire day,on skin it does not perform poorly either. i actually lasts longer than many perfumes. if you like vanilla and coconut or really sweet perfumes, you may like this.

I've had this for awhile and just started wearing it more frequently. I didn't really like it before, but recently i've been on a mission to smell like dessert all the time and this is absolutely MUST HAVE if you feel the same. Thick rich cake smell, I absolutely cannot stop smelling this! Really really sweet, if you don't love heavier dessert scents don't even bother with this, doesn't smell tropical to me at all, this is all cake. Top with a little vanille extreme if you really want sugar overload (which I happen to love).

This is a solid like, not a must-have love. With this fragrance, I get mostly vanilla rather than coconut in this fragrance. I love vanilla, and have a few fragrances entirely devoted to days I want to wear vanilla as a big fuzzy blanket, and live in it. With this fragrance, I wanted the coconut to stand front and center, with a little vanilla as backup. Unfortunately, the sweetness of this vanilla drowns the coconut, instead of enhancing it. Still on the hunt for a great coconut summer fragrance!

I'm generally not big on gourmands, but I was craving the scent of coconut, so I decided to pick this up. The coconut is there but vanilla is the more prominent note to my nose. Overall, the scent reminds me very much of vanilla shortbread with a hint of coconut. It's sweet but not sickly. Sillage is soft and longevity is good at 6+ hours.

I got this perfume today and I'm actually a bit disappointed as I expected a coconut fragrance. On me it smells very strongly of vanilla and chamomile. The coconut can only be guessed. Especially the chamomile is very dominant on me. It's also a rather sharp and artificial smell on me and not soft and cosy at all :(

I have all three of the Coconut Passion line. Which includes the body mist, the body wash, and the lotion. The lotion is by far my favorite product for skin lotion I have ever used. I have normal skin. Not dry skin. The coconut passion lotion makes my skin feel like silk for hours. Not to mention the amazing smell last all day long. I recommend this VS line to any one with any kind of skin who loves the refreshing smell of vanilla and coconut. 5 stars for sure !!!!

One of my favorite scents next to jasmine that can be put into a fragrance is coconut. I am always on the hunt for fragrances that have coconut scents in them. I got this and I must say that this is very nice. Creamy coconut and vanillia. Rue 21's "Twenty One Black" still remains my favorite coconut perfume..but this would probably have to be a close second.

The opening of this spray is a burst of soft, gentle coconut and sweet, delicious vanilla. The two mingle together and you get the yummy “coconut macaroon” scent. That's literally what I can imagine if I close my eyes.
A while later, the “Malibu” scent comes in. It smells intoxicating, fresh and flirty and the men at my work go absolutely crazy over it. One guy in particular always stops what he's doing to come and tell me how freaking crazy good I smell. I can never sneak up on him because he knows me by this scent now, and Every. Single. Time. He tells me how unbelievably gorgeous I smell. And he's pretty much a married man, so it's not like he's flirting or trying to get in my good books.
I sprayed this in a H&M changing room a couple days ago and within minutes I could hear lots of girls discussing what smelled so good, here's what I heard.
“It smells like butterscotch.”
“It smells like waffles in here.”
“Oh my god, it smells absolutely amazing in here!”
“Who has Malibu?”
And I strutted out with this lovely aroma that turned all the heads and one girl stopped to ask me what perfume I was wearing. This honestly does make me feel like a million dollars!
I've had a few separate partners while wearing this perfume, and every single one of them adored it. So much so that one ex bought vanilla candles to have around his home because they reminded him of me. One time, on a date, I sprayed this all over and we got into a photobooth, and he kissed me so hard I nearly fell out. When I asked him why, he said it was because I smelt too damn good and that he couldn't keep his hands off me.
The drydown is friendly and sweet. The chamomile really blends in with the gentle vanilla, so it's definitely a homely smell. Like a big coconut cream pie or vanilla cake.
Overall, this is my signature scent, and I get asked about it everywhere I go. For £8 a bottle, it's the biggest bargain ever! (In my opinion, of course!)

I can still smell the sweet, vanilla-y goodness of this stuff even when I'm washing it off in the shower at the end of the day. It makes me feel like a freaking dessert. My only gripe is that the name "Coconut Passion" sounds super cheesy.

I remember being in Victoria's Secret and I had sprayed myself a few scents, with this being one of them.
"Coconut Passion" smells nice, even though I dislike coconut myself...But, the scent reminds me of vanilla and is very sweet. It also reminds me of being in tropical islands during the summer time.

I have a love for coconut fragrances, and I own quite a few. I have to say out of the other coconut fragrances, this one is by far the softest. This scent is really easy to wear because I feel that it's not so "beachy" and not in your face COCONUT. It's sweet and powdery and dries down into a really soft scent. It's not fruity at all, and the coconut isn't so roasty toasty either. That's what I like about it.

Aloe vera and chamomile shouldn't be included in the notes, they're actual ingredients in the body spray and not notes. I have a bottle of the body mist and the notes listed are coconut, vanilla, and lily of the valley, and them it says, "refreshing formula is infused with conditioning aloe vera and calming chamomile". There is absolutely nothing herbal about this scent, it's super sweet and creamy, I don't even really smell the lily of the valley, just coconut and vanilla. Despite the name, it's primarily a vanilla scent, though the coconut is definitely there.

I find this a bit too sweet but still love it. I wear it in my hair and on clothes. When used with the body lotion it stays all day and even till the next day.

It's just perfect! <3 I actually love every scent that has vanilla/coconut in it as long as it stand out, and this is just perfect, as I previously said. I have all the products (body wash, body mist and the cremes) and if they're used all together, your skin will smell gorgeous:) I'd definitely buy them again!

I have never understood when someone compared a fragrance (especially ones I own) to suntan lotion until this one. I get strong coconut sun lotion. That is not a bad thing as I love coconut and am enjoying this very much.
I got the EDT and it isnt very strong (few inches after the first 15 minutes) or long lasting (about 2 hrs) but I enjoy wearing it to bed where my hand goes under my pillow so my wrist is near my face and I fall asleep before it wears off. Very relaxing and gives me good dreams..

I got this from a friend who was moving and couldn't bring liquids onto the plane with her. I was happy to find a creamy vanilla coconut scent upon my first trial of it. When I spray it on in the morning, it lasts about 5 hours, starting out as a sweet coconutty vanilla and in the end leaving behind a slight trace of natural vanilla mixed with lily of the valley. A very yummy perfume that I think is better for summer and winter.

The vanilla, in my opinion, remembers me of Vanilla Ice Cream, the one with little bits of chocolate in it. Like all VS Fantasies fragrances, you can smell the Aloe Vera and the Chamomile if you put your nose close to your skin, but also like the other ones, you don't have to, cause the projection is awesome (even for the body splash).

I had a body splash by Bachellor (a Brazillian brand) which is identical to Coconut Passion.. Too sweet! I used to love it, but lately lots of perfumes with coconut have given me a lot of headaches.. I still have the VS moisturizer.. I like to use a little bit when I spray Reb'l Fleur by Rihanna.

This fragrance mist smells like a vanilla cupcake with coconut flakes in it,this is an very warm and cozy scent i only tested it at victoria secret and i was in love this is an very gourmand scent but at a time i found it a little to sweet but then it calmed down into something i like and it lasted on me half the day.If you like cozy and sweet gourmand scent this is one for you and i definatly dont smell any lilly of the valley.I like this scent but its not something i want to wear all the time because of it sweetness :).

I just bought the eau de toilette and have been wearing it for the last 3 days. I do have a cold but despite that have been able to smell the scent on my skin and clothes so it must last ok! This is a very simple scent, just warm vanilla and the faintest trace of coconut mixed in. The coconut does make the vanilla very smooth and delicious and not at all synthetic after the fragrance settles. I don't detect any floral notes on me at all. If you're after a simple, warm, sweet vanilla that's fairly subtle but yummy this is great for the price. After reading previous posts I'm going to try layering it with other scents! This would be perfect for that.

Delicious! Finally my Mist and EDT arrived this morning! I get a Pop of Coconut but its not overpowering its a very smooth coconut, on the dye down it is creamy coconut swirling with Vanilla a yummy Vanilla they mix together in perfect harmony. This scent would be great for Summer time the mist is wonderful in you hair and the EDT has good sillage and Longivity. Very happy with this scent, summertime in a bottle without smelling like tanning oil! Love it

Well, let me start by saying this is a v.secret frag, and I grew up wearing this whole line and other classics like dream angels and supermodel. I Always wore vanilla lace, then switched up to amber romance. Until one day, I noticed this coconut passion. I had totally missed it after years of being an avid v.secret shopper. How could I have gone so long without knowing about this?! I feel guilty to admit, but it's one of my fave perfumes and is def one of my signatures for day time. It's supposed to be coconut vanilla, but I get very little coconut--this is all sweet, decadent vanilla on me. But it's different from other vanillas on me.. Must be coconut peeking through somewhere. I don't find this to be tropical smelling at all.. More of a coconut in a cream pie, with tons of vanilla that went into the ingredients. It's simple. And that's what's so appealing about it.. There's no surprises here, which is a good thing if you're looking for a sexy vanilla. I noticed that vanilla lace and other popular vanillas like warm vanilla sugar smells very alcoholy, play-doh-like, which makes it smell cheap, while coconut passion is that bold vanilla without those nasty, unnatural notes that keep some ppl away from v.secret/bath&body scents. so, this is obviously the queen of vanillas in my book! But it's gotta be the EDP! I like vanilla lace and also amber romance is decent too, but I won't wear any of these in the body spray. I'll buy the EDP first, and sometimes then I'll buy the most and lotion with it--but I lost my most in a bathroom somewhere lol.. As long as I have the EDT, I'm good;) no alcohol! My boyfriend loves this on me more than any other frag.. I will say that the sillage and staying power is rather weak on my skin.. But that's my only complaint. This is such a comfort scent.. Good for going out, and great for wearing to bed... Beautiful!

I was pleasantly surprised by this (I bought the EDT). I am a coconut worshipper and am still on a quest for the perfect coconut scent - this isn't it but it's nice. Most definitely more vanilla than coconut but not sickly or too overpowering - yet! I only got it a couple of hours ago:-)

Ohh my god! This is a snuggle scent deluxe!! Would love to fall asleep with this sprayed in the sheets. So cosy and warm. Smells mostly vanilla with warm burnt caramel and the exotic smell is the coconut I guess. But that is not the note that dominates, that is the vanilla sugar smell. Recomend for all gourmand vanilla lovers out there.

This is a pretty decent coconut scent. As many of the other reviewers have mentioned, the vanilla really does overpower the coconut - which in my opinion is a good thing. I do like coconut on certain occasions, and I like that this is a good blend of warm, toasty coconut and a very creamy vanilla - end result, a well blended, wearable fragrance that is cozy and comfortable. Furthermore, it doesn't have to remain limited to summer wear only (like I feel many coconut centered fragrances do). It works just as well in the winter as it does in the summer and doesn't smell like tanning lotion. Very yummy. :)

I can hardly detect the coconut in here at all. On me, this is about 95% vanilla, 5% coconut, and no lily of the valley. I really like it though. Its soft, sweet and warm. I generally think of coconut as a summer scent, but here its so subtle, this fragrance makes a great fall scent.

So, I thought I'd be in love with this, but I think I just like it. I can't pick up a ton of coconut, which may be a good thing to some, but I was a tiny bit upset by it. I do get alot of vanilla. It also lasts a good while on my skin. I do however, get a tiny hint of like, an artificial scent. BUT... when my boyfriend smelled it on me, he went absolutely crazy! He pretty much never tells me I smell nice. I'll ask him sometimes if he likes my perfume and he'll give me his opinion (good or bad). But this time he smelled me and was like, "Oh wow you smell reeeeallly sexy." So I will be wearing this more often, and I'm going out to get more soon!

I looked forward to getting this in mail all of last week, i LOVE sweet fragrances so much! At first i was disappointed though, it smelled sort of cheap on my skin, but it definitely grew on me over time. Couple of hours later i started liking the coconut - vanilla blend .. it lasts VERY long too, i have had 15 or more VS perfumes so far and this one might just be the longest lasting one of them! :) (over 6 hours on my skin)

The first thing that came to my mind is that it would be worrisome for me to try it since it would smell like I just sprayed coconut oil. To explain further in my country once you smell like that it is like you self-medicated your hair to kill the lice in your scalp; but once I sprayed it on my skin it smells like vanilla with a hint of coconut. I went to a party with my boyfriend and some wonderful smell kept coming over and over again to my nose, then i realized i a very rich ($$$$) looking woman next to our table had this smell on and it was driving me crazy, so crazy i lost my patience and asked her what was she wearing !!!!! and she said lots of people asks her the same thing and everyone was surprised it was Victorias secret coconut passion!!!!! oh my god!!! it smells amazing, it has this classy-beach touch and deep creamy vanilla, and the projection in incredible!!! yummy yummy :P

It's linear, but sometimes I just need a simple fragrance that won't overwhelm me come summertime. It's a cousin to Yves Rocher's Coconut spray-- that one is more milky. This is like toasted shredded coconut and vanilla.

I tried this out at the local VS store recently and while I'm not really fond of coconut or anything that smells like it, this one is done right. I was going to buy the shower gel and the lotion, but all they had was the shower gel and a tester of the lotion. The lady told me they were discontinuing it! Bummer. :( Anyway, I tried this on my hands and man, this smells awesome! It smells kinda like a dessert, but it's not too sweet, if that makes sense. As I was walking around the store, I couldn't stop smelling my hands. LOL I bought the shower gel and found the lotion on Ebay. VS still has it online, but you can get a better deal somewhere else. This is definitely going with me on my trip to the beach. :)

This has a toasted coconut smell to me, and the vanilla in this reminds me more of Warm Vanilla Sugar by Bath & Body Works than VS Vanilla Lace. It reminds me of macaroons, I find it very pleasant but not very unique.

This is femininine, sweet and inviting. Extremely beachy. I wore it walking on a fishing pier and it was the perfect scent. Very dessert smelling like a coconut frosting on top of a rich vanilla fluffy cupcake. There is a soft floral in there that still establishes it as a perfume. It's nice. I'm glad I bought it. I also wear it now that I am home and it smells good. This is definately one that is more mature in the fantasies collection along with ravishing love, vanilla lace, and sheer love.....its just a tasty vanilla coconut scent that can be worn year round at any time of day or night in any climate. Like most VS fragrances, this is basic and uncomplicated but I love it! I own this and never in the million years would I think that there is lily of the valley in this scent. This is straight up coconut with some vanilla notes. That's it. I LOVE anything with coconut so of course, I love this but if gourmand fragrances are not your cup of tea, steer clear because you won't be smelling anything but coconut here. It doesn't smell like suntan lotion, btw, but like toasted coconut cake. Lasting power is pretty good(I have edt which they now discountinued and I'm not happy about that:( Layered with matching lotion I get about 3 hours out of this but my skin eats up perfume and it may last longer on other people. Sillage is quite good and you will be trailing this scent for other people to sniff.

Scrumptious! This fragrance is like some type of super sweet, baked coconut desert. Its not sensual to me, but definitely pleasant and inoffensive compared to many scents alike. I love coconut, but on me it smells like plastic. when I first sprayed this on, it smelled like suntan lotion, but then it stared to smell very synthetic. too bad because of all the great Reviews I really wanted to like it. :-(

I LOVE this body splash, I put it on after a shower and before I go to bed and I just feel so cozy and even sexy. I think it makes me feel exotic and I immediately feel more relaxed. Its not that sickly sweet funky, almond joy smell that is so often associated with coconut, its more complex, definitely a nice comforting smell for me.

When I first got Coconut Passion, I was crazy about it, but after a couple of weeks, I was sick of it. It just began to remind me of those cheap coconut butter cookies nursery schools give to the children. Go figure. Loved it while it lasted, though!

Oohhh wow! I'm in a coconut paradise. This is the first coconut scent I've tried and Oh yes! I've fall in love. I have many victoria secret fragrances and this's by far the best! super yummy and it's really for the girls who have "Coconut Passion" only. If you hate coconut please stay away from this because this's all about coconut. the lasting power is the best among all victoria secret fragrance I had. 2 thrumb uppp!

Lilly of the Valley added to vanilla and coconut didn't seem like it would work, but it really does! The floral takes away any synthetic sweetness that coconut sometimes mimics, and adds a clean subdued component. I received this as a gift this Christmas and have been wearing it all season. Ancillaries in all!

Really nice interpretation of vanilla and coconut. It's not coconutty like hair grease (ick), and the vanilla smells natural, not like a synthetic saccharine vanilla. I'm going to have to get this for the summer months.

when i 1st smell this, it remind me off vanilla edt from the body shop..then i spray it smell sweet..i can't really detect the coconut much, just sweet vanilla sugar with hint of coconut..yummy!!!

Coconut Passion definitely smells like sweet sugar coated shredded coconut. As if you opened one of the shredded coconut bags in the store, the style that's slightly moist not dry, and put a healthy sprinkle of vanilla scented sugar on it. As it moves to the dry down it becomes a background scent, still noticeable but close to the skin.
The vanilla isn't pure vanilla, and the coconut isn't pure coconut. Clearly you have to be a fan of the two to enjoy it, but if you're looking for something that screams one or the other you won't find it here. I think it would work well layered with a fruity scent.

I think this is the best out of the secret garden collection... Not complicated, but a nice warm sexy vanilla-coconut which guys will love and is actually great for summer ánd winter. Close to the skin though, not so strong.

Smells like Cocunut & vanilla :) just okay perfume. But I cant say that Im impressed with any of the fragrances in the secret garden collection. All crap.. sorry. I hope the beauty rush line is better, hope fragrantica will add them;)

To me, Victoria's Secret body mists and EDTs are what I wear when a "perfume" would be too much. They're what I reach for if I'm doing laundry, running errands, exercising, or when I know I'll be around people with asthma, allergies, or perfume sensitivities. Not everyone loves patchouli or jasmine like I do and I try not to assault my more delicate family members with scents they find offensive. I've never met someone that VS mists offended but I also don't douse myself. They are light and they will not knock your socks off with lasting power or silage. They will, though, wrap you up in a nice, cozy, uncomplicated (generally only having 2 or 3 notes) scent that will last like an average body mist. Although I don't like many of their perfumes (which I find to be usually overpriced without the quality to match the price tag), I love their mists and EDTs. They're simple and inexpensive, especially if you can find them on sale. Although Love Spell and Coconut Passion, which are my favorites, are in no way complex or ground breaking, no one expects them to be. They're just pleasant and pretty. They're ageless and casual to me, and I think they can appeal to a 13 year old as much as a 60 year old.

I smell like a coconut macaroon! This honestly smells divine. If you love foody perfumes like I do you'll love this. It smells warm, milky yet fresh at the same time!

This smells like coconut macaroons heavy with sweetened condensed milk and vanilla, not too heavy on the coconut though, which I appreciate as I find coconut notes can be suffocating to me. It's really nice but can be cloying if applied with a heavy hand (like I tend to do). I just have the body mist but it's long lasting and people will be able to smell you from a few feet away. In fact that's how I ended up with this scent, I smelt in on someone and loved the baked goods quality of it. If you like sweet and gourmand, you may like this.

Sadly, I dislike this one. In theory, it's a dream - vanilla - good. Coconut - good. Unfortunately with my chemistry, with my nose, this became a super-artificial, tooth-achingly sweet (and I am a sugar monster gourmand maniac), plastic-y, headache-inducing nightmare.
Both the coconut and vanilla are distinct, but sadly they're both very chemical and artificial smelling. Add to that the fact that this is one of the rare fragrances that, without fail, gives me a headache, and it's a scrubber for me.
I'm so sad because I should love it - every cloud has a silver lining though, as I gifted this to a friend who loves this scent and had nearly run out of her most recent bottle. To my nose it's still faintly artificial on her, but it's a lot nicer than it wears on me. If you've had good luck with VS fragrances and you like sweetness, coconut and vanilla, this is a very affordable scent with surprising silage and staying power, so you might want to give it a go - you may well be luckier than me! That said, I think there's much better coconut/vanilla scents out there for similar budget-friendly prices - for example, Urban Outfitters' Lait de Coco, which is more fresh and coconut-heavy and less artificial to my nose (and is a true, unexpected compliment-getter!).

I really don't understand why this is called coconut passion. It smells nothing like coconut, its just more sugary vanilla with a slight floral. It really is a shame because the notes look beautiful but the actuality is extremely disappointing.

Too much sweet vanilla in this fragrance, and very little coconut. Definately not a "summer scent" would be too cloying. Probably fine for the colder months, that is if you want to smell like a cake of course!

I am a huge lover of that suntan-lotion-summery-beach vibe and was convinced I was getting it when I blind-bought this. Nope! All I could detect was vanilla (and by that I mean strong, artificial vanilla) and lots of musk. I honestly did not detect even a hint of coconut. Unfortunately, I have to tread lightly with musk notes as they tend to turn into muuuuusk on me and that is just what this did. It was sharp, fake vanilla with heady, dank musk. It was unpleasant for me and likely everyone around me. I ended up desperately trying to scrub it off after wearing for 15 mins or so. Btw, fragrances sure are hard to wash off when you hate them, aren't they?
I'll still blind-buy from VS because the mists are so inexpensive and worst case, their return policy is so great that I can easily just switch it out for something else.

The notes sounded great. I love a good coconut and vanilla fragrance. Unfortunately it turned to straight up playdough on my skin. Crushing. Gave it promptly away to a coworker.
