What surprised me about this mist, I received numerous compliments wearing this. My female co-workers and and friends loves it on me like crazy! Guys love it too! I am totally confused about it as I find it cloyingly sweet, but people around me are like, hey! you smell so fresh! Did just get out of shower?
I just wear it everywhere in summer, when I have literally less than five minutes to get dressed! I just put on something and spray this generously. I wouldn't ever repurchase it if not for the compliments it brought.
But looks like I am not very keen on pleasing other people anymore, so, the current one will be my last one ever.

It smells very airy and crisp, I could smell musky thick plum jam and some aquatic notes, that could be freesia. Seriously, I tried to find any other perfume with same realistic plum, it's grace and lightness, but I never could.

This was a good signature scent for me at the time though (age 16-18), and it didn't clash with any season. I clicked "summer/night", but it definitely could be worn at any time. It wasn't ever too heavy, but it can withstand heat or cold, I actually still admire it's perfomance and I can't usually claim the same thing for other VS/BBW productions (I can't speak for current formulations of course, it seems as if everything has weakened lately).
This was an attractive dark berry/plum fragrance with white florals, but I didn't personally find it too syrupy or overkill. It had a slightly tart note too (rhubarb maybe?) and I felt like it helped balance and offset the sugared fruit. It isn't the most sophisticated fragrance, but it's legitimately appealing.
**Update**I found this buried beneath some clothes! I thought I had thrown it out. It lost all of it's pink color, but it still smells the same, and my recall was absolutely correct; I stand by my entire review.
Funny how this isn't something I would gravitate toward nowadays, but I'm swept up entirely in youthful nostalgia. I love this for the memories, and it STILL has better longevity than a lot of things.
An odd side note, but it smells a little like BBW's "Frosted Cranberry" candle.

If you are into very sweet smelling perfumes, this is for you. PM me if you want to swap for a huge body spray (75% full). I also have the lotion.

Longevity is meh, but what does anyone expect from a VC scent? It's cheap enough to layer the body lotion and respray as needed.

All their other mists kindda revolve around it :)
the brilliant thing about it is that the initial spray starts super sweet almost choking notes of syrupy strawberry
but soon the dry down develops to a bubble gum like scent that stays close to the skin for long
Perfect for hot humid summer days ,work ,going dancing & at the gym
Over the years I can tell it has been reformulated several times
Not talking about any limited editions, I mean the Original Pure seduction, the latest reformulation doesn't seem to last as long
But still , this is what any vs store smells like when U step in :) its their Signature :)

It's taken me a while to warm up to Victoria's Secret "Pure Seduction". I blind bought it based on reviews from a different website, but I should have paid more attention to other website reviews as well. I more than likely would not have bought it.
The combination of melon, plum, and freesia makes for quite a sweet mist, so if you typically get headaches from sweet scents, you absolutely shouldn't blind-buy this mist. Test it at the store, AND spray it on swatches that you can keep with you to see how it performs throughout the day.
This mist doesn't give me a headache but is a lot sweeter than I personally want my fragrances to be. The initial spray is a blast of strong sweetness, which smells like strawberry to me.I'm surprised that isn't listed as one of the notes.
That being said, once it dissipates and settles, it has a creamy, clean, light scent that's sweet, but not disgustingly sweet (which is how it opens in my opinion).
As soon as I'm out of the shower, I use lotion while my skin is damp, spritz this mist and walk through it, give it a few minutes to settle, and then dress. I spray a little on my fingers and dab select spots on my top so it's not blasting everyone with its sweetness.
When used this way, I actually really like it. I've received compliments on it, from both men and women. If I sprayed it directly on my skin and clothes, I'm pretty sure I'd get requests to tone it down or not use it at all.
All this to say: it's a very sweet scent, so use a very light hand with it. You and those around you will enjoy it more this way.
If you must top up during the day, spray it in your hands and dab it on, do NOT spray it directly on your skin or clothes.
Finally, it's best to test it at the store before purchasing it. I don't consider this a safe blind buy based on the sweetness.
UPDATE: 4/24/19
It's been a little over a year since I purchased Pure Seduction.
I'm still not done with my bottle because I have other scents I use each day.
My perfume preferences drastically changed this year, because all I want to use is sweet fragrances, especially in the sunny-but-still-cool Spring weather.
I grew to love Sweet Seduction towards the end of last year and definitely love it now. I reach for it often. I doubt it would be a repurchase for me, but it's a flirty, clean and lovely scent especially when used with a light hand.

AliCat77
I love this scent as opposed to Love Spell which I'm not that keen on, to me Pure Seduction has it all, fun, flirty and feminine without smelling cheap and nasty. Perfect for the hotter months when wearing musky EDP's don't work as well. I wear it all year round as to me it's an all year round scent.

It was very polarizing.
Thinking back now, I hated it. Too sweet. Gives me a headache. I like to smell this on other people but it's not something I would wear myself. Longevity and sillage is heavy, i will give it that. It definitely turns heads.

Some notes lists include casaba melon. Lasts way longer than Love Spell. (May attract bees. Small children might ask you if they can have a drink.)

Last year I bought the Luxe Eau de Parfum, 2.5 oz. I think I got it for $16.
The thing about Pure Seduction in EDP form is that it isn't actually a fine fragrance with developing notes. It wasn't meant to be, and that's okay with me. I didn't expect it to develop beautifully or anything. I bought it for what it was worth. I wanted the smell to last longer.
At the beginning, the eau de parfum smells great, and quite strong. After that, it gets sort of plasticky, a little medicinal and weird, and just fades out. Longevity is poor to moderate. I don't think it lasts any longer than the little EDTs they've sold.
Not sure how the male population feels about it. The one thing that men like, across the board, is sweet and sugary. Mostly vanilla, but sometimes sweet fruity stuff. I see a lot of people are knocking the name and saying it's not sexy... but that's actually what men like... simple, sugary concoctions. They usually don't go for what we think is traditionally seductive, like deep spices or musk overloads. Go read the reviews for Aquolina Pink Sugar. Or better yet, wear the sweetest perfume you have and ask the closest male in proximity if they like it. Try one with a vanilla base. They will probably pick your cheapo sweetie perfume over your $150 complex French treasure.
After my bottle is gone, I won't go out of my way to find another, especially since VS is on a rampage of cheapening everything. The new ones might not smell the same.

It's nice, delicious scent. But no one can convince me it's sexy. I wonder about that "I am sexy fruit bite me" trend myself and shake my head in disbelieve Lol. I am too old to get on that train, folks. But it's lovely as body product and without contest the best in VS garden line.

EDIT: I much prefer this to Love Spell which I also own. Pure Seduction has a fresh, slightly spicy green note (the Freesia) which provides a citrusy zing and takes the cloyingly sweet edge off the plum note, while LS is just purely sweet. It also makes a really nice hair scent spritzed on freshly washed hair!

Now, not so much.
Very strong and reminds me of a scented shampoo/shower gel, it's a nice smell for something you'd use and wash off immediately.
In it's defense, I probably put way too much on a tiny surface, maybe it'd be good if I used it more sparingly and underneath clothes.

p.s. this isn't some random rude comment. It really smells just like fruit punch kool aid to me. This fragrance is a sweet refreshing fruit drink with 1 cup of sugar per pack! I like it, I just don't want to smell like it everyday. I do rarely use it after a shower.
Why does that feel like an admission of guilt?
...the scent is rarely used not the shower!

When I spray it on the juiciness overwhelms me and I feel like I have just landed on an island of my choice, and the air is wafting about me with scents of beautiful citrus and tropical fruits.
I just love the way this scent transports me in its simple way. It also makes me feel a little wild...
And as I age, I reach for this mainly because it makes me feel excitedly youthful and adventurous, the way I used to feel when I wore this as a teenager.
I asked for more of this for Christmas and I'm crossing my fingers!

All this coming from "red plum" with a fizzy burst of freesia. It straight up smells delicious, sweet and more fruity than floral. It does remind me of Selena Gomez, which I also have. Layering the two is AMAZING.
For fans of more sophisticated and powdery scents, stay away. Sweet candy fans should step right up ♥
This frag is a people pleaser. I'm proud to have the mist, lotion, and body wash combo.
YogaRose
It is very popular for a reason.
It's exotic, sensual, I pick up pomegranate though I do not see it as a note on here.
I had, however been looking for an amazing fresh chamomile and this comes close to fresh chamomile. The freesia gives it the seductiveness.
jasmine28x
I spray it after shower, going to supermarket, running errands etc.
Lovely for beach ! <3
I have the body mist and it smells quite strong, so just go a little light while spraying this, maybe 3-4 sprays is more than enough.
Also, I'm not a fan of new bottle packaging, liked the previous round bottle packaging of body mist!

To me, LS is more pineapple and a bit more spunky/sharp. This, is more rounded, juicy, and fresh.
This is one of my favorite VS Garden scents. It's so carefree, it doesn't think too hard. It's juicy and fresh. You can wear it any season and it won't be too cloying. It also isn't too loud or abrasive.
My last 2 perfume compliments have been this. One, I was asked if I ate candy and the other, I was told that I smell good. I like it for compliment, carefree days. I also wear it when I wanna be safe and not challenge myself.
Bad Parts about this: The lasting power SUCKS. I have the shower gel, the lotion, the mist, the EDT, and the limited edition EDP. The scent from the shower gel doesn't linger past the shower but it smells awesome while showering, the mist only about 1-2 hours, the lotion about an hour and it has a chemical-sour nature to it (will not repurchase it--trying the cream next), and the EDT, 1-2 hours. Even the limited edition EDP, lasts about 2 hours on me. I just wish VS would step it up with the lasting power.
Do I recommend? Hell yes!

First spray was when I was at home after taking a shower and it was super duper sweet, fruity, juicy and very fresh. I don't find it seductive in any way cause for me it smells more like a childish scent. It's more like, 10 year old girls spraying this on themselves to attract sweet tooth boys... If u work with kids, this scent will make u very popular. ;)
Other times, the smell reminds me of hotel stays. The best time to use this fragrance mist would be after a relaxing shower in ur hotel room and then going for an evening walk at the beach smelling sweet n fresh.

This was my first fragrance ever from Victoria's Secret. I loved it then, and I still love it now, even though it isn't one that I wear very frequently. It is a deliciously ripe, juicy scent, fruity in a more rounded way rather than being sugary. It is youthful and in many ways intoxicating. I just love plum in fragrances, and this one was my first love. It is linear, no development or change, not complex in the slightest, but I still enjoy it, and I will never outgrow it. Even if I rarely wear it now I still pull it out every now again and smell it just for memory's sake. I think that it is unique in the Fantasies line, as many of the scents that are emerging now have such similar smells to one another.. I miss the old fragrances that have been discontinued over the years from the Secret Garden, and am grateful that this one at least has survived.

Lotion- Sweet, juicy plum smell. My favorite product from this scent.
Perfume- Mostly, bubbly freesia. There is also that sweet plum in it, making a very nice balance.
Shower gel- Plum and melon. Fruity, fruity, and... Fruity
Now, about lasting power:
Lotion- About 10 hours... You can smell it outside the room, even ir the door is closed...
Perfume- Weak lasting power, I have to reaply it. And it keeps close to skin, no radiation at all.
Shower gel- After the bath, you can still get a light plum-y smell from your skin.
Good line, great smell, not that great body sprays.

Great if you want a simple refreshment in the morning but dont expect it to last.

It is fruity--like juicy cherries with citrus that makes my mouth water. Plus, it uplifts my mood for some reason. It is quite addictive too. I am just a bit scared of wearing this around my man---I have a feeling he'd toss me out of the window if I do. Well--maybe not but still.
Overall, I really, really like it now and I am only a few uses away from buying back-ups.

It smells to me like watermellon, blueberries, and strawberries. Not too flowery, mostly fruity. It is very sweet (not too much) and zingy. It is definently a fruity scent. To me, its fragrance rivals in popularity to Love Spell. I got tons of complements.
Sadly, I don't have my bottle anymore. I suspect it was stolen in the lockeroom or by one of my friends! (It just smells THAT good)

To me this smells like water melon and strawberry, mixed with a softer and less tart Lovespell. It actually smells pink.
Very very nice and yummie!

The notes are very simple in this: plum, freesia, and chamomile. I can smell all three of these in the fragrance if I really think about it, but ultimately, Pure Seduction smells just like fruit punch. If you like fruit punch, then you will LOVE this.
Some people say that this is purely a Summer scent, and I can see why ... But I think this fragrance can be pulled off in the colder seasons of the year too. There's a certain "crispness" to the scent that makes me think of the really fresh air once the weather starts to become colder, for some reason. Plus, the fruit punch scent can smell really strong to me sometimes, and stronger scents are more compatible with cold weather, in my opinion. I think this can be pulled off as an all year round fragrance.
As for the age range that should wear this, I think it's more compatible for younger people, but it doesn't have an immature quality to the likes of Beauty Rush Candy Baby or Aquolina Pink Sugar. I can see older people enjoying Pure Seduction too.

x33janelle
Over time, I have grown used to it and stopped putting my nose to the nozzle of my bottle of Noir Tease every time she whips this out, and I have come to associate with her. However, sadly, this does not mean I like it any less. It still smells the same. Synthetic, like fruit punch, cheap and simple. Not a scent I would wear.
That being said, this is less popular than Love Spell, which I am thankful for. This is slowly gaining momentum, however, and as bad as Love Spell is, at least it doesn't smell like thin cough syrup.
Time for me to stock up on more bottles of Noir Tease to sniff at in my bags.

The fragrance is very refreshing and fruity. My nose detects some tropical fruits like mango and passionfruit even though they are not in there ;)
Also, I can smell some melon , freesia and plums. A very very nice and really summery "seductive" fragrance I would say.
The one I have is a shimmer body mist and it's gorgeous!!! beautiful in the sun :-) a must have for holiday abroad -gives your tan a fantastic glow, shimmer and fragrance.

My teenage neighbor who I can not stand drowns herself in this and it lingers in the apt hallway. mostly just smells like she doesnt shower and bathes in this instead lol.
ANYWAY, I have a small bottle of it now and I am not too sure how much I will actually use it, its over the top fruity/girly. It's not that it smells bad but just not my taste I guess. It's a teeny type of frag, not a sexy one for sure.

Then it gets weird, a Play-Doh smell creeps in, similar to that in Pretty In Pink, also from Victoria’s Secret, and just like nearly all of the VS fragrances, it is quite linear.
Pure Seduction is like Love Spell wrapped in Pretty in Pink, all from VS. I’m not a fan of their weird plastic echo-y fruity smell, if you don’t like any one of the above, you wouldn’t enjoy much of the other two from those I mentioned above either.
